Lightroom 5.7.1 gray screen is developing a Module for settings

Please help me.  I have LR5.7.1.  Used to work great.  Now, whenever I have an adjustment or crop in the development my image module past gray and I cannot see more until I click on another image and then return to the one I was working on.  So boring.  Help, please.  I've tried everything.  Thank you

Develop module uses the GPU while library and no card, so if the problem isn't developing, he could easily be the GPU and you should try to extinguish it.

  • Blue screen to develop the module Lightroom 6.3

I use Windows 10. I Lightrooms 6.3 installed and when I go into the mode of developing the screen turns blue with no image list.. How can I fix this?

    Hi Veronica,

You must go to the Edit menu > Preferences in Lightroom > Performance > uncheck 'use graphics processor' and restart Lightroom, and check again.

  • Lightroom displays areas of gray in mode develop - fine thumbnails.

Photoshop is no longer shows that my photos to develop fashion. Previous pictures in my catalog that was not displayed, and are new photos. This includes jpeg, png, cr2, and dng. The vignettes show very well, and my browser (preview) shows the filters applied to the pictures.

I tried to reset the profiles of colors for my two monitors. I calibrated new profiles using the Windows standard.

I also tried to change existing profiles (sRGB) – none of these changes had no effect.

I've updated in lightroom without result. I restarted my PC several times. I realized that I was not signed in, but signing in and out and back in had no effect.

You can use the graphics processor that is checked in the preferences? If so uncheck it and try again, it seems to cause problems similar to those that see you.

  • Blue screen to develop the Module, LR6

New to Lightroom.  In collaboration with 6.  I've seen this question already posted, but have not seen a final resolution to the question so thought I would throw it again.  When I she draws to develop, I see my image in the upper left corner, but where would the larger image is just a blue box.  The "fix" which was recommended is to disable the GPU under preferences, Performance.  This is not a good long-term solution.  Any other idea?

You can try updating the graphics driver, maybe this will allow you to work with the gpu market.

If it isn't, it's no big deal - it works that develop and unless you have 4 or 5 K monitor, it will not affect performance.

In fact, for many users, performance will be better with the gpu is off.

  • Develop the module does not meet all of the changes.

Version 5.7.  Updated graphics driver.  Program and SSD cache with 50% free space.  When I hit the button crop, the image goes gray.  all the adjustment knobs do not visually respond to any changes.  Thought maybe it was a problem of use of disk, so I moved the program and the SSD cache, but always a problem.  Previous versions uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results.  Any suggestions?

The gray screen in development is often caused by a bad monitor profile, usually one that got installed by a graphics driver. How do calibrate you your monitor? You will need to recalibrate. If you calibrate your monitor (you really should!) go into the properties of your monitor pane and delete any profile see you associated with the Analyzer and restart Lightroom.

  • Why my images in Lightroom CC appear as gray shells in the Library tab, but display correctly in the tab develop?

I upgraded my iMac and Macbook Pro at El Capitan yesterday. I use an external hard drive on my iMac to store my photos and my catalog. My girlfriend did the same thing on the Macbook.

The Macbook works very well for it, no problem. The iMac would not my photos so that in the library with Lightroom, only illustrated square gray tab with file names, but create fine displays in the tab.

So I hooked up my external drive for the Macbook, and I got the same result. It must be specific to my files and not on the computer. Unfortunately I have no backup of the catalog. I thought that my external hard drive was back in a Time Machine, but it has been excluded.

Same result in both actual images on the external hard drive and also when you try to view the Collections. Any ideas? It may be a coincidence that it happened the day I upgraded to El Capitan. Or maybe not? Thanks for any help

You can try to rebuild all samples catalog from scratch.  They very rarely get corrupted.

Release of LR.  In your catalog file, it is a file ending with ".lrdata" - move to the trash. Restart the LR.  It will automatically rebuild your previews, that could take some time for large catalogs.  (Be very careful not to delete the file ".lrcat" - which is the appropriate catalog).

  • Satellite L750 - gray screen at startup

    Hi guys,.

I have Toshiba Satellite L750 slightly less than 2 years. He developed intermittent problems, when starting it arrives with white/grey screen and disappear when the login screen is ready. Sometimes touching the upper left part of the disappears from the screen it. Other wise I have to keep restarting. I have checked the cable connections between screen and motherboard, and they seem good.

I have also connected my laptop to an external display while it shows the gray screen and the external display. The screen is not cracked or the other.

    Help, please. Thank you

Googling around you can find a lot of discussion on various forums on similar problems and many different explanations why something like this can happen. On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what may be wrong with your laptop, but it is certainly the unwanted material.

In my opinion you should either continue to use your laptop until it can be possible and later when the issue gets worse search solution or contact the nearest service Toshiba and ask for help.

Guarantee is generally of 2 years (depending on the country) but if you opened it on your own guarantee is canceled now.

  • Lightroom displays no image to develop the module

I just downloaded the new Lightroom and when in the develop module, I just get a blue screen. When I select before and after develop, I get picture on L and blue screen on R.

    Hi all

It is a nuisance GPU. Update your GPU drivers from the manufacturers Web site.

In the meantime, disabling "Use Graphics Processor" (Preferences > Performance), should help to load the module development.

This morning I opened the email m and there was one that looked like it came from apple... I clicked it and a gray screen appeared with a voice that tells me to call the number 888 a1.  I can't get rid of the email.  Can I get rid of it by stopping?  In the message my access to my hard drive appears and asks me to enter the password etc... I didn't get this because I want to make sure that it does not allow malware to enter my hard drive like that.  Please help me with what I can do.  I have "silenced" the voice and he has declined so that I can continue on...

  • Blank gray screen on wake?

So I am using this Mac mini (late 2014, 2.6 GHz Core i5, 8 GB memory, 1 TB HDD, OS X El Capitan 10.11.6) for almost a year now and I'm having a serious problem with waking up from his sleep recently. If I let him sleep long enough, I get a gray screen on wake. No progress bar or the other and it can go up to a half hour without doing anything. I turned off the Hibernate using pmset just in case, and the problem is still happening. Happen 3 - 4 times so far.

Moreover, some of the keys on the gray screen gives an error sound system. I don't know if this means that it is a problem with OS X or not, but I'll bet it is, as I ran Apple Diagnostics and it showed that there are no are no hardware problem. I'm really confused now. Has anyone else experienced this?
