  Two other things to try:

  A preferences. Reset LR, as described in this article: reset the lightroom - updated - Lightroom Forums preferences file. LR is not uncommon soil its file preferences, and when that happens, it will behave unpredictably.  (The preferences are not reset when you reinstall LR.)

  B. manually edit the preferences file to disable the use of LR of the graphics processor, as described in this article help: using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom | Graphics processor (GPU) acceleration, troubleshooting & FAQ Lightroom.  A little more detail about the steps in this article:

  1. Release of Lightroom.
  2. Click on the Start button in the lower left corner and copy them and paste "%appdata%\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs" (without the quotes) in the search box, and then type Enter. This will open the preferences file in Notepad.
  3. Change the following line: useAutoBahn = true to the useAutoBahn next = false
  4. File > Save followed by file > exit.
  5. Restart Lightroom CC/6

  I can't install higher than Mac OS 10.7.5 on my Mac Pro, but the Mac Book is 10.10. I use both, home and travel. The drive went on the laptop and they have installed 10.10 on the new CD, can I download a smaller version of CC which is compatible both? If so how, I can't find how to do it. I don't want to really not also have to buy a new job just because adobe and apple say. Mine worked totally fine so far. Please, please help!

  I am trying to load Adobe CC 2015, and they say 10.7.5 is not compatible
  The machine works well, but now the game starts because my laptop is down and becomes a new hard drive with 10.10 on it.

  You have a MB of 2006 or 2007. You can not install anything higher than 10.7.5, Lion.

  Upgrade to Lion

  IK al een paar months in het Super Lightroom use prima. Deze week Sinds het scherm when ik Ontwikkelen en ga naar bevriest / op een map of in of bibliotheek klik.

  Al geprobeerd om via Gen GPU ITU voorkeuren you was, maar dan bevriest het ook niet meer Lightroom reageert.

  Tevens voor grafische kaart al geupdatet pilot. Daarna nog via het agprefs bestand be verkenner puts optie autobahn = false, ook dat niet works.

  Voor mijn gevoel alle found jullie op het geprobeerd forum... Iemand nog tips om has said op you lossen?

  Could you try disabling Device Manager GPU.

  Steps to follow:

  • Open Control Panel< device="">< display="">
  • Right-click on the graphics card
  • Disable.

  Then restart Lightroom and check if it works.

  Once activated, enable the GPU to Device Manager.

  If this does not help, post the info from Lightroom -help > System info here

  I'm not a geek, so I don't know if I'll be able to give answers if people begin to offer suggestions... I just upgraded to the creative cloud (only installed LR and PS), and it did not work properly, since I installed it.  I managed to read a bit which was published and my GPU seems to have passed the test.  Don't know what to do.  Just frustrated.

  Try to update your graphics driver. If this does not help, manually disable the use of the GPU: Re: change preferences dialog box will not appear in Lightroom 6 - system 64-bit Windows 8.1.
