Lightroom is not installed, but Cloud Creative think it is!

I completely uninstalled all clouds creative products including Lightroom 4.3 and 5 Lightroom (64-bit).  The icons changed to generic icons, which indicates that the app link was broken, due to the fact that the product has been installed is no longer.

When I go to Adobe website CC to try to download Lightroom 5 after the signing, my web browser asks what application I want to use to open the download link.  I chose the creative cloud application but nothing does not update in the CC Office.  I'm on Windows 7 64-bit SP1.

I don't know why Creative Cloud Desktop still considers that these applications are installed and does not give me the button install.  Instead it shows "up-to-date".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I also checked with the cleaning of Adobe tool to make sure that any CC apps have been installed.

Hi ssprengel.  It seems that the problem has been resolved.  Lightroom moved very well when you do that the first time.  However, he leaves 2 footprints on the control panel (programs and features).  Please make sure that you uninstall 'Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5' and just 'Lightroom 5"in the list of installed programs.  I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional to separate the preferences of a certain type.  I still had 'Lightroom 5' installed and this office of creative cloud caused to recognize the software being installed even if I had already uninstalled.

    Why can I only 'try' hearing CC and After Effects and Illustrator CC, in my Panel of cloud creative when I'm connected, and yet I can 'install' other apps available?

    When I go through the Adobe Download Center web page, it gives me the option to "Download", then appears as installed in my control panel CC.

    Is there a limit on the number of Apps you have installed on a computer with a subscription of the CC?

    The 'Try' option gives you a 60 day trial period?

    I was under the impression that a creative cloud subscription allowed me access to any product of Adobe...

    I really need access to a wide range of most Adobe applications, not for a trial period. That's why I chose the monthly subscription of creative cloud.

    So I just bought Creative Cloud and began trying to figure how to use After Effects today.

    I imported a movie and added some text animations and I am trying to export the video to the Media Encoder, but I get the following error.

    CEAP Plugin AEDynamicLInkServer : Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.apps . (5027: 12)

    When I click 'OK', I get the following message:

    CEAP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Unable to connect to Adobe Media Encoder. (5027: 12)

    So I don't really know what to do because I just started using After Effects but I would like comments on how to solve this problem, because I would be able to love to export a video at any given time.

    The rendering engine is installed, but whenever I try to open it nothing happens, but After Effects opens again. At one point, I had four After Effects to open at a time and didn't know it.

    If it's important, I installed the plugin CUDA.

    So if someone could give me some information or support on this subject I would be very happy.

  • Should uninstall us cloud creative cs6 before installing the cloud creative cc?

    I am an existing Member of creative cloud with cs6 apps installed through creative cloud on my PC. I don't want two versions (I want both cs6 and cc) - so I want to remove my machines cs6.

    My question is - is better first to remove apps from cs6 creative cloud of my machine and install cc creative cloud applications, or should I install cc creative cloud apps then uninstall cloud creative cs6 apps?

    Or... isn't it important?

    Or... can the cloud creative cc Installer hjandle uninstalling cloud creative cs6 apps?

    On Lightroom (5) - I had to uninstall Lightroom 4 manually.

    Adobe - is there a best practice here?

    bobba1, CS6 and CC are two separate applications. Thus, it is irrelevant at all, how or in what order uninstall you.

    If you do not want to keep both of them, you can install CS6, maybe after or before installing CC, your choice.

    It is the same with Lightroom.

There is an Adobe Acrobat Reader for Android software that you can download from the app store. Logging in with your ID creative cloud of the Adobe Acrobat Reader application allows some additional features that are not available to subscribers to the creative cloud.

    I currently 5.7 Lightroom installed on my Mac computer.  But I bought a new camera which is not supported in Lightroom 5. So, I bought Lightroom 6. I tried to install Lightroom 6 with my new serial number, but the message I get says that serial numbers are correct but then it asks me to select a product to install, but it only gives me older versions of Lightroom to select. It does give me the option click on Lightroom 6.  I have paid for the product and carry serial numbers but get further.  Help, please!   Thanks, Jo

    You have purchased a version upgrade.

    Your upgrade to version 6 serial number is fine, now, please select the older version which you upgrade (in your case version 5) and enter the serial number of the version 5 too.

    Then upgrade to version 6 installation completes successfully.
