  I don't use a Mac, but you must make sure that Adobe Bridge CC has been updated when you installed CC 2015.5.  If she was not that adobe Bridge CC may be trying to open Photoshop CC 2015, which, by default, would have been deleted by the installer from Adobe 2015.5 CC.
