• Photoshop CC 2015 does not remember that the last used tool after restart

  Hi all

  I think it happened after the last update (2015.1.1). Whenever I have quit Photoshop and run it again later or the next day, it does not preserve the last tool that I used. For example, if I was using the Healing Brush, the next session opens with the Spot Healing Brush tool as default instead of the Healing Brush, and I have to remember to change the tool. It didn't happen until I'm positive if I pressed J he lurched to the Healing Brush, as it was the last, I used.

  During a meeting, it is normally. For example, I use the Healing Brush tool, move the clone to another task stamp, and if I press J, it jumps to the corrector. But if I stop PS is going on what I mentioned before, if I press J selects the Spot Healing Brush tool instead.

  I know it's a very small problem, but it is perhaps worth mentioning.

  Hi Gerben,

  You must disable the GPU acceleration by going to Edit > Preferences > Performance > uncheck GPU and restart lightroom.

  And update your drivers of graphics as well as you say it was working fine before and once update you you can check that box again.

• Keyboard does not respond during the restart on Pavilion dv6

  When I restart my laptop and click "esc" - that works - I can not choose any option because my keyboard is unresponsive and I cannot click on the arrows and the Fs. I want to format my HD and reinstall Windows and there is no way I can do this. BIOS is also inaccessible. It could be linked to the issue of the famous 'sticky ctrl' which also remains unanswered for so long. In my view, that it is a major problem which requires attention. Thank you!

  External keyboard did not solve the problem, and before ask you, I tried all possible software solutions that could hardly be connected with this problem.

  The left 'ctrl' key was really physically stuck. Very annoying for a new laptop. Again, brand new, I bought it the day of my original post! I removed the key and everything is perfect, except the key itself ofc.

  I suggest to all of you who have "sticky ctrl" to consider this weird option also. I'm so disappointed!

• Install new windows 8.1 - AE opens fine but the character animation "not responding" to the launch

  I have problems with animation character "not responding" during the launch. All new win 8.1 installation - AE seems to work very well. I thought that this could be my driver for the webcam but uninstall and stall did not work. No other problems with the system so farhati i7 cpu with Quadro K2200 card. All this experience?   Figured it out... initially disconnected the webcam and it worked (less obviously in the camera). Then I uninstalled the Logitech software and reinstalled the driver only. Don't know if it was related to the software or simply contributed to update the driver. However, it is currently working.

  It's wasting a lot of my time. It started happening in Lightroom 6, then was briefly fixed when the sloppy until October update was released, and then reintroduced in November was last updated.

  I looked at my application logs (go to the Explorer, do a right click on the system, choose the gale, go to the activity log, applications) and it was a mistake starting Photoshop.  I reinstalled Photoshop and now it works.

  On windows:

  1. open Run (press windows + R)

  2. type %appdata%\protector.exe

  3. go to folder Roaming > Adobe > Photoshop cc 2015. Adobe Photoshop cc 2015 settings

  4 moved the (modified) Workspaces folder on the desktop and restart Photoshop

  On Mac

  1 go to the Menu Finder > go > go to folder

  2. tap ~/Library

  3 go to Preferences > settings of Adobe Photoshop CC 2015

  4. move the (modified) Workspaces folder on the desktop, and then restart the Psalm

  Open the file/Program files (x 86).

  Search: vcredist_x64.exe

  3 results popped up for me. I ran all three and it fixed the problem for me. Hope this works for you as well.

  Make sure that Photoshop is closed.

  1 - go to this place C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe 2015\AutoRecover CC in Photoshop

  You will be able to see all the. PSD file that opens automatically when Photoshop is open, delete or move all the files in this folder.

  2 - restart Photoshop and go to edit > preferences > performance UN check the gpu processor use and restart Photoshop.

  It should be working fine now.
