Lightroom starts whenever I put a memory card.

Lightroom starts whenever I put in a memory card or a USB stick containing photos. Is it possible to disable this feature? I want to determine if the program should start.

Reach:

Edit > preferences > general (tab)

Lightroom > preferences > general (tab) on Mac OS x

Uncheck the box: see the import dialog box when the memory detected.

  • I have a memory card reader/writer. You want to know what it takes to put photos on card

I have a video photo frame that I put my memory card in to see photos. but cannot modify them. so I bought a card reader/writer, I have used before and had no problem. but didn't write what I did. now, I don't know how to recover my pictures on the computer to the memory card.

If you insert the memory card into the reader and go to...
Start / computer... you will find one or more removable
Discs that represent the slots in the card reader.

    For example...

    Removable disk (e :))
    Removable drive (g)
    Removable disk (h :))

Once you learn which represents removable disk
the card slot is in you can copy and paste or drag and drop
photos on the drive letter that you want to copy on the map. If
you get to pictures in your folder images, you can
Right-click on a group of photos or a folder and the
menu choose... Send to / removable disk (? :))...)

Tip: There is a limited number of files can be copied
in the memory card root directory. You can see a
    error, something like:

"Impossible to copy the XXXX: failed to create the directory or file.

You can avoid this problem by placing the files in folders
    on the map.

  • my memory card for my digital camera does not work when I put it in the memory card slot

I use vista and a emachine El 1200-07w. It worked last week I just stuck the memory card and a menu pops up saying what are the options I could do (for example, open the folder, etc.) now, when I put the memory card in nothing happens, but if the memory card is in when the computer is turned on, then he will say new hardware detected but it can't find a driver for it. Why is it does not work now, but was last week and how the hell can solve this problem. I have no software for my digital camera, I always just went out the memory card it stuck in the memory card slot and it was very good. It's just a less expensive memory card (Lexar) I have a 2 GB and 128 MB and will no longer work. Thanks for any help!

Hi, I hope you can follow this. Remove the storage card from the computer, then go to control panel
    then
    Device Manager
    Expand portable devices
the type of memory card slots should be listed if your type is a yellow triangle in it,
Right-click on it and choose uninstall.
It should reinstall it automatically or when you put the memory card in the slot.
This type of fault is often caused by not using material on the taskbar does not safely remove request.

  • Lightroom CC does not launch when inserted memory card

After installing Lightroom CC I can't get Lightroom to automatically launch when a memory card is inserted.  The option is enabled in the settings menu of Lightroom.  On my PC under AutoPlay, I have the option open with Lightroom 6.0 64 which is CC in Lightroom to my knowledge.  However, when you insert a memory card I get an error that says F:\ Application not found.  I can go into Lightroom and select import files from a memory card without problem.

    Thank you.

I had this problem and I was able to fix by changing the Windows registry (it was only a minor change).

I changed the value of the following registry key:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Adobe.AdobeLightroom64\shell\open\command

    The value is:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7\Lightroom.exe "%".

    I changed it to:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\lightroom.exe '% '.

    Hello

I understand you want to transfer your photo from your memory card on your computer using the printer, but at the moment, you are not able to.

Here is an overview of the steps required to make this work:

    Map the network drive

    (1) turn on the product and make sure that it is connected to the network.

    (2) Insert the memory card into the slot of the player card on the product.

    (3) find the host name (network name) from the network configuration page.

    "Printing a Network Setup Page"

    (4) on the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, right-click computer, and then click on map network drive.

    A network drive opens.

    (1) in the drop-down list player, select an available drive letter.

    (2) find the hostname from the network configuration page. In the folder field, type (without the brackets):

\\(The Host Name You found previously in Step 3) \Memory_Card

NOTE: Do not use the Browse button, or mapping may fail.

    (3) check box to reconnect to the opening if it is not checked.

    4) click Finish.

Now, the network drive is mapped.

Access the files on the memory card

    (1) the product must be on and connected to the network to access the files on the memory card.

    (2) on the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, and then click computer.

    3) double-click the letter and host name of the reader on the printer.

The images and the folders of the memory card will appear.

Please let me know if it works for you, thank you.

  • How to download an image that is on my phone to my computer memory card?

I put the memory card into the adapter and put it in the sd slot in the tower. I thought something pop up would be for me, but it's not. I don't know what file to download (upload?) to. can you help me.

When the adapter/card is in the housing that is appropriate in your media
drive. If you go to... Start / computer... is the card reader
recognized as one or more removable disks?

    Removable (e :)) drive
    Removable disk (e :))
    Removable drive (g)

If_Yes_you can download photos from there. Left click
the drive letter that corresponds to the SD card slot should
display the directory of the card and you can copy and paste or
Drag and drop the photos of your choice in a folder on your hard drive
    drive.

Just a select group of photos do a right-click and choose... Copy...
then navigate to the folder that you want, and then right-click the
    folder and choose Paste.

It may be better to create a new folder to copy the files in...
This way... If the file names are the same as others you
already downloaded they will not replace (replace) the oldest
    photos.

  • How can I replace a 5 in 1 memory card reader in a HP Pavilion 500-027c desktop PC

I bought a desktop PC computer given to nine HP Pavilion 500-027c Wal-Mart, 2 weeks ago... 5-in-1 memory card reader does not work... the Device Manager indicates that it works correctly, but when I put a memory card, nothing happens... The white light will come on indicating that the memory card has been inserted, but the computer does not recognize that something has been done... I would just replace the card reader itself... I see on the hp support where it is possible to replace the reader of card memory (before I/O), but I don't know where to buy the card reader itself real... I have no card on the card reader either... Help, please!

    Hello

You can find a list of the parts for your machine:

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=H5P68AA

What card you use, the machine only supports the following cards:

    • Secure Digital (SD, SDHC, SDXC)

  • Memory card, delete movies or videos

I have a Cyber Shot camera DSC - WX9. My modus operandi is to manually delete photos and movies (videos) of my memory card after transfer to my computer via the card reader. For photos, it's easy, because I just delete the image (JPG) files in the DMTC, 100MSDCF file tree. I want to do the same for movies and videos. I can't seem to find the correct files to remove, or it is not possible. However, I don't think I should have to reformat my memory card after each use if there are some videos about it. If I did not, films and videos will be re-down or charge whenever I connect the memory card from my computer and the PMB software. Any suggestions? Richard

I connect the memory card my camera Sony DSC - H55, on a card reader to manage in my computer. The computer sees no any image or video file, even if it shows the amount of memory used the capacity of the card.

  • put the sd card in the HP 7 stream

I can't find an external location on my hp stream 7 where I can put a memory card.  Please can someone explain how to insert a sd memory card in the HP 7 stream.  Thank you

Thank you very much for your quick response.

Is it possible to continue taking the back cover on and outside?

Are there precautions I need to take?

Is there any sd card special I need?

If you pay attention, take the market as much as you want!  Like all things, the more you use more the chances of something to break...

Be sure to insert the card in the right direction!  Look at the icon near the location.  It should show you how the map should look like when inserted.  (There is usually a bevel on a corner of the map, and he won't go).  You may need a nail push in fairly far to feel the "click".  Sometimes I ~ carefully ~ use a straightened paperclip to get the card inserted correctly.

Site of Support of HP recommends a Micro SD (any manufacturer) card, which is a maximum of 32 GB in size.

  • WX350 - why camera appear no warning when you take pictures without a memory card?

I have a digital camera Sony WX350 that allows me to take pictures even if I forgot to put the memory card in the camera? I realize account then I lost photos as none of them have been saved on the memory card.

Why don't the camera WX350 indicates a warning, or prevents me from using the camera, if it detects it is no inserted memory card?

In my view, that he should warn you when you turn on the camera.

Also, I believe that there should be an icon indicating that there are no inserted memory card when it normally will show how many photos you can take.

  • backup drive flash memory card

I have a HP 309 a Photosmart Premium all-in-One printer. I want to save my memory card (8 GB SD) on a flash drive. I put the memory card first and then put the (10 GB) flash drive into the USB port. Then I selected "COPY" from the front panel of the printer. The system came with the issue of "save the memory card to the other... "and I pressed OK... He says it's back up. There are 543 photos on the memory card.

Q: the system actually copy/save pictures of the card in the reader flash - lights flash, so I know something is happening.

Q: has anyone ever backup their photos in this way, using their HP all-in-one?

    Thank you!

    Hello

No, this is not going to work, you must use a computer. When you touch/press COPY on the control panel of the printer, it WILL copy whatever on his glass and print on paper, it works like a copier. Hope this has answered your TWO questions.

    Kind regards.

I could save my SanDisk memory card on a flash drive.  It didn't all go to my computer. I put the chip memory in the first, allowed the printer to read images and then put my USB into the slot next to it. When the menu screen (SEE & PRINT is in the Center, SAVE is to the right) is come, I pressed the right arrow to select SAVE and the system asked me if I wanted to save my memory card on an external source. I pressed OK and it copied everything from the chip in the flash player. Easy...
