Lightroom syncing issues
Hello everyone. I need help with Lightroom sync between my iPhone 6 s + and my desktop running Windows 7. Synchronization between these two devices stopped working in the past month or so. It was working great before that. I am under Lightroom CC on my desk and I reinstalled a couple of times to see if that could solve the problem of synchronization, but it didn't. I also tried to reinstall Lightroom Mobile application on my iPhone, and it did not help either. Now Lightroom Mobile works on my iPnone and the screen is white with a circle of rotation. It indicates the synchronization, but its been this since a few days now, but no progress. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Could you try to force quit + restart Lr Mobile on your device. Just a double click the home button on device, locate the LrM application to close. slide up close app and restart Lr Mobile subsequently

Lightroom crashed on me and now I get the following message is displayed:
Sync has been turned off. This seems to be a backup catalog that can be updated with Lightroom Mobile.
To ensure that your catalog sync, go to: Edit > Preferences > Mobile with Lightroom and click the button "delete all data" to start over.
I'm in my main catalog, not a backup.
No one knows how to stop Lightroom to my main catalog as a backup? I don't really want to delete all data and spend the next week re - synchronize their brand-new.
I use the latest version of Lightroom CC on a pc Windows 10.

I was in the main catalog, not a return to the top.
The issue seems to be with 1 private collection. No synchronization this collection, Lightroom is connected to the Mobile with Lightroom. I allowed him to delete the files in the cloud, then re - synchronize the collection. It seems to work fine now.

I am under that Lightroom CC on a Windows 7 PC and does not synchronize files between my Samsung Android phone and Office LR program.
I can download Collections to the cloud, and they are visible on my mobile and also within a web browser. However, any attempt to sync files from my mobile phone to the LRCC, accurate results in a notification telling me files synchronize.
I currently have 41 files to sync to the LRCC.
I don't know if it's connected but LRCC has also created several Lightroom mobile Device records that contain no image and cannot be removed/deleted?
I tried all the suggested fixes: file sync.lrdata deleted; mobile app re-installed and data deleted through DRB.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

The problem is now resolved, but I had to send a copy of my Adobe's Lightroom Catalog to work some magic on this issue.
Sorry I can't be any help more as it appeared that the cause of the problems was a problem with the Lightroom Catalog.

Lightroom sync - newbie question
My catalog (.lrcat) Lightroom is about 500 MB in size and is stored on a Google Reader to share between 2 different machines.
Am I right to think that, even if I make a small modification to an image, the entire catalog 500 MB a completely re - sync every time?

That's the downside to having your catalog to Google Drive or Dropbox. The catalog is a single database file. It is counted as a single file. If you make any change whatsoever, the entire catalog must be synchronized again. Remember that you are not to make any changes to the individual image files. All changes in Lightroom are stored in the catalog.

Lightroom Sync does not work after last update of version
My sync between my office catalog Lightroom and my ipad modbile Lightroom app doesn't seem to be updated for the new version of Lightroom CC has been installed. Wanted you to be aware of this. I'm running Windows 7 on my desktop. Everything used to synchronize perfectly. I added some new photos to my catalog and noticed the problem with sync.

Hi Brian, just send me a journal of diagnosis Lr Desktop where your DRL synchronization is still stuck - best as a private message with a downloadable dropbox link.
You can trigger the newspaper through Desktop LR-Mobile with Lightroom > preferences, and when you hold down the ALT key, you will notice a diagnostic log button to generate

The option is either 'No sync' OR "Switch to this catalogue of synchronization"... I guess I'm not quite following... Does this mean that I will lose all my mobile photos!
I deleted all the computers 'active' on my plan of LR, but still no luck on the synchronization. I'm desperate...Thank you!Your problem is that you must have copied your old computer to the new catalog. Instead, you seem to have created a new catalog.
Sync doesn't wish, go back to the old computer and find this synchronized catalogue.

The title says it all. While you can import images into a new project through Lightroom mobile sync when you try to create a cover image for the project, you can select one of the imported images, but when you try to apply the portfolio crashes. The only way to go beyond this stage is to import them separately a jpeg.
Another problem with imported via Lightroom photos mobile sync, it's that the display full screen obtained by double clicking on the image in the project is not centered on being right-justified display. There seems to be no way to change this behavior.
How to overcome those problems?
Just tried again this morning and guess what it worked perfectly. Only difference I can see is that Lightroom is running and who claims to be always sync when I had the problem and this morning when the problem went away Lightroom was off. Incidentally, if you want to report bugs that you must go to the portfolio help page and ask a question.

Why is-Lightroom sync many more pictures that I have designated for synchronization?
Strange behavior.
I have a few collections that are designated to sync with my other devices via Mobile with Lightroom. HOWEVER, in the upper left corner of my window, I thought that something like 3770 pictures be synced - the way, much more that I have selected for synchronization. When I left, I get the "you are always sync 3770 pictures ' warning.
The number changes; It breaks down and back up again.
Is there something that I am missing?
As a best practice, we do not suggest keep the catalog on any network drive.
And you can merge the old catalog to the new in Lightroom.

I have BIG problems with Firefox Sync. I have rearranged the books on the Firefox browser on my laptop, including other penetrating Mobile bookmarks. The changes would have disclosed on my phone. But nothing has changed.
I don't know what the problem is! I tried to unplug the two accounts and raise them, but not only did it does NOT solve the problem with bookmarks, but now I can't change the options for that I want to sync on my phone AND my phone will not even update which is synchronized! It SUCKS!
Is anyway to fix this? My laptop uses Windows 8.1 and my PC and my smartphone Galaxy Note 3 use 39 Version of Firefox.
Anyone know how this can be corrected?

Thank you for your question. As you moved the folder of bookmarks Mobile bookmarks, they then also will appear in the folder of bookmarks from office. However as they do not make duplicates I think that it can display in both files.- Is mobile bookmarks file still there on the desk?
- Is the favorite of office yet on the Mobile device?
Bookmark management is one of the best features requested for sync. I made some experiences and when you add a bookmark on the Mobile device will be added to this folder. However from the desktop you can move in and out of this folder. I moved one from a mobile phone to the bookmarks Menu and he moved to this folder on the Mobile device.
First make sure that the automatic synchronization is enabled and you tried to make a change, and then click Tools > synchronize now.

iTunes to sync my iphone every time, but today I have a malware scanner into my computer and remove all malware that finds the program and since then I can't sync my iphone it shows sync iphone and then it stops and nothing happens. And even my full capacity of the iphone has transformed into 'other'. Here is the picture of that.

Backflip: Google calendar sync issues
I'm having problems to make my Google Calendar (online since the iGoogle homepage) to sync with my phone. I can get the calendar of events that I add on my phone is displayed in my Google Calendar. When I add/delete, etc., the changes are there within minutes. I waited hours and nothing on the web is still coming to my phone. I just started to use Google and set up a gmail account when you are prompted to because my account @live.com has not been recognized by my phone. I don't have gmail set up as an e-mail account on my phone and my default email address is @live.com. I have read all the Google FAQ and have done everything they said and still nothing. I do not understand why my calendar updates only in one direction. Help, please! Thank you!
Only the google account that is active under the Gmail (not the widget messagin) application can be synchronized calendar. Other gmail accounts that are added under messaging will simply e-mail accounts.
What happens if clear the calendar and then save? Maybe uncheck, add a calendar event, and then save. You can also use the menu button and then "Synchronize now".
Another place to look is your calendar - if you have more then one, to make sure they are all displayed. Open the calendar more-> you-> Menu-> my calendars and make sure that your Google calendar is selected.

Google accounts &; sync issues
I have a gmail account and used to download all my contacts from my old blackberry. When I got the droid I have set up my gmail account then synced contacts on the phone down. I also added some calendar entries online and those down to the droid as well synchronized.
However, I do not want to synchronize calendar and contacts info between the phone and the server more. I saw no way to individually sync gmail only, there was only an AutoFix for the entire account (which I suppose synchronizes email, calendar and contacts). I left the phone on the manual synchronization so that it does not synchronize back any changes I've done for contacts & calendar on the phone, and I don't have it refresh gmail when I want to check my mail.
is it possible (on the phone) to set up an automatic synchronization only for gmail and omit the contacts/calendar?
On the screen where the accounts are listed, you must check the box that says Auto-Sync. You will then have the boxes on the next screen!

HP Envy 15 (PM55) iTunes sync issue
I waited for weeks, and again, there were no updated BIOS for my HP Envy 15 (15-1011TX) that addresses this issue. I currently use the version of BIOS F.05A.
Gigabyte has released the fix in the BIOS there are almost three weeks and Asus released their dose about two weeks ago. I really want to get an estimated time when HP's out their.
The plu HP expected to examine this issue more people will choose other manufacturers who have already released the BIOS fix.
. The BIOS is finally OUT! (F.07) and it solved the problem. Although it is not always updated on the download page for the moment.

BlackBerry, BlackBerry Z10 Z10 Active Exchange Sync Issues
Hi all! I'm on my Blackberry 4th in exactly one year. I stopped to ask for a new phone as I think it is maybe software related as the problem persists no matter what. I'll put my Exchange account on my phone, change anything else, ask it to sync only 7 days of e-mail and I get nothing but a screen full of dates listed one after the other. It can be hours before I get an email on it and then once that happens, I may or may not continue to synchronize mail. If this does not work, I have to delete my email account, restart my phone, he added, restart my phone and try again. If THIS does not work, I have to completely wipe my phone. It's beyond aggravating. Everyone knows about it? It shows that I'm on the latest version too. I tried everything... What Miss me?

Please check out this link! It was INCREDIBLY useful! I had originally thought that my phones problems were related software, as I have had 4 phones and each of them had exactly the same problem. I upgraded my version of the software through this post guys, and it worked. My phone is lighting fast, has not had a single problem, has many updated features and I am so happy to not have to give up my BlackBerry for a different type of phone. AT & T really needs to get out their BlackBerry customers!

When I use on my Blackberry Destop Manager synchronization. I noticed that the 'sync email' button is grayed. It does allow me to choose this option. There are other options like addressbook, Contacts, etc. Is there something I'm missing? I would like to be able to sync my bb with my emails - so that everything what I'm typing on my bb is in my e-mail accounts, and each time I type something on my email accounts, it appears on my bb as well. Had a situation where I needed to access a mail I sent my email accounts on my computer and that he was not able to access it through my bb - had to wait until I got home to make it... What a waste. The reconcile 'now' doesn't seem to work on my bb. Can someone please? Thnx a lot for your help.

You use a personal account from BIS. BIS do not reconcile mail and messages, accounts, contacts, calendar, notes and tasks. The button is grayed out because balance messages isn't an option on your account. Basically, the command to reconcile now does nothing, so, on your account.
For reconciliation to complete e-mail, you will need a BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Service) account.
On google, the choice #2 for the question "what is the difference between BIS and BES.
