A good Antivirus Program enough to protect more desktop that cannot be will become Windows 8

Just found out that my office 5 years cannot be upgraded to Windows XP 8 because of an incompatible bios.

Already discussed this elsewhere

Like many home users, the Office has been used for more serious work such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photo editing high quality images.

What are the opinions on just letting a virus of high quality like Bitdefender not protecting it and just let it go that Microsoft supports is more security for XP. I know that it is possible simply to keep disconnected from the internet forever. I was wondering.

Antivirus and anti-malware are REACTIVE.  At the time where they usually understand that an exploit was used to infect/infest you (which is likely to be how the lack of new updates will expose Windows XP to infection/infestation) - it's too late.

If this system will take care of Windows 7, and you might drop to 8.1 Windows, it will be probably very well in the hardware specs for Windows 7.  8.1 Windows and Windows 7 will require a clean install anyway.  Purchase a support/license of Windows 7 OEM (System Builder) and install it and you're good until 2020 and you will always have the general appearance of Windows XP and most of your hardware/software will probably be able to be installed and running.

I recently had to have my rebuilt computer caused by a virus. Now I have Mozilla Firefox with ABP and see that Firefox has a program's built-in phishing and viruses. Do I need a program additional anti-malware? If so, the one that works best with Firefox? Seems put more you on these things the you have more trouble.

The anti-phishing protection and malware that Firefox uses checks against a list of websites that have been reported to contain a form of malware and then alerts you. Firefox itself does not scan files to see if they contain viruses/malware. You still need a form any anti-virus and anti-malware protection. You must also use a firewall.

As for which is better, you are likely to get many different answers, it's a topic that generates a lot of discussion. A product one person loves will be hated by someone else. I use Microsoft Security Essentials as well as Windows Firewall.

  • IPhone 3GS Best Antivirus Program/Protection

I heard a lot of rumors on how IOS does not really need an antivirus because the software application is quite sure just within himself. Even if I have OCD and I am always worried about something. That being said what is the best Antivirus Program (free) that I need to download for the safety of my Iphone 3GS. Even if I could not ever having a virus problem or whatever the cause. It is just a type of "peace of mind" of the thing im dealing with.

It must also be free software because I have no money to invest in the purchase of a request right now.

Please someone help me to find what I'm looking for.

May God bless those who can help me understand my situation.

    Thanks again.

There is NO antivirus program for iOS. Because iOS does not privilege any sufficient demand to see what is happening in the operating system or install apps. Your 3GS is safe. There is no need and that you can not use an antivirus.

  • It is better to have two antivirus programs to be sure?

    original title: MS Security Essentials?

I am now under Webroot Internet Security complete and I was wondering if I have or should run/download MS Security Essentials? I read somewhere that it is better to have two antivirus programs to be sure. What should I do?

    Hi Richard,

Contrary to what OU a course, you must have a real-time protection anitmalware/antivirus program installed on your computer. Major reason being disputes between two to treat an infection. However, you can have other scanners on request, indeed since no antimalware/antivirus software is 100% sure I'd say at least one to increase daily or weekly scans with your resident security program.

Microsoft Security Essentials offers protection in real time for your home or small business PC that protects against software viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

If you Choose Microsoft Security Essentials cleaning/unistall this guarantee as well as programs of real-time protection previous using tools and methods remove properly.

    Hello

One of your antivirus programs? You should not have two or more on the computer much
less running. They load the pieces themselves at startup and interfere with each other
which can actually reduce safety. If its best uninstall all but one and run the removal
Tool or look for the special removal for these deleted instructions.

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
    cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

It can be made repeatedly in Mode safe - F8 tap that you start, however, you must also run

  • Microsoft Security Essentials is compatible with Antivirus programs?

I want to know if Microsoft Security Essentials can be used in conjunction with other programs such as Norton or McAfee Antivirus.  Usually, a single Antivirus program denies it.  I'm just curious, because I have Norton and I installed Microsoft Security Essentials on a VAIO from XP because Microsoft was pushing it and nobody mentions do not use if you already have antivirus software installed.  It seems that everything is working OK, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.  Please advise because I wouldn't do something that would affect my computer.

    Thank you

Oh yay fellow in love norton and mcafee. I can add you to the fan club? We have T-shirts, expressing our... love... for these programs. hehe

I'm kidding. On the fan club. I also share the feeling that be freeze before I used these products.

Conflicts occur between 2 programs trying to do the same thing, so if you had 2 AV programs both with antivirus real-time protection, they would have conflict while dealing with the virus.

So as long as you do not have 2 programs trying to protect you against the same thing at the same time, you'll probably be fine.

On my computer I have MSE for protection in real time, Spybot to monitor my registry (among others), and Malwarebytes just like an anti-malware scanner, not real-time protection and I cannot remember a time when I never had any conflict.
