Lightroom to Photoshop hang up

When in Lightroom CC and I want to take picture with adjustments in Photoshop CC. I get a message "problem with the driver display & disabled temporary improvements using graphics hardware and the program hangs up.  I fact and Adobe update cloud on my adobe Photoshop and Lightroom yesterday.  I have a problem with front graphics card?  What should I do I can't seem to get this to stop.  I have to do a force quit to exit the PS and I also did a restart of the computer as well.  Any suggestions?

Hi Vickijones,

The message ' UP/problem with the driver display & temporary improvements with disabilities who use the graphic material' means that you must check your graphics card for updates on the manufacturer's Web site. See Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver

Kind regards

  • Lightroom and Photoshop only installs; are there workarounds?

Currently, I can not install Lightroom or Photoshop.  Lightroom clings to 72%; Photoshop at 51%.  This long saga began for me when the creative cloud desktop application does not open so I uninstalled and reinstalled.  After the reinstallation, I tried to open Photoshop and it does not open.  I open Lightroom.  I've uninstalled Photoshop and tried to reinstall; This failed.  I mentioned the forum that suggests to uninstall, by restarting the computer and then using Creative cloud cleaner to completely remove applications.  I did this and was able to reinstall the desktop creative cloud application.  Now neither Photoshop and Lightroom will install; Lightroom hangs at 72%, Photoshop at 51%.  Hope someone has some good suggestions; It's extremely frustrating!

Thank you. But I managed to solve the problem by disabling Norton firewall and internet security and then the installation of the desktop application, Photoshop and Lightroom.

  • Can not uninstall the CC with Lightroom or Photoshop CC using FREE creative cloud

I tried Lightroom CC and CC in Photoshop using 30 day trials.  Just before the end of these tests, I bought Lightroom CS6 and Photoshop CS 6 stand-alone applications.  Whenever I tried to sign in creative cloud, I received a message that my trial was expired. So, I reinstalled the FREE creative cloud and he ran in order to uninstall CC with Lightroom and Photoshop CC but not appear in the list of installed applications, they are shown with only the option "try."  In the meantime my Lightroom CS6 now does not open.  I don't know, but in a rush, I had installed Adobe Application Manager 10, thinking that would help, but it might be what is in confliict with Lightroom CS6.  Photshop CS6 always opens but strangley "recent files" option on the "open file" menu dropdown is now "clear".  I cannot uninstall Adobe Application Manager 10, Photshop CC or CC with Lightroom feature Microsoft 10 UNINSTALL APPS.  Can someone telll me what I need to do?

  • Variance between Lightroom and Photoshop image

I often export my work from Lightroom for retouching in Photoshop.  When the image opens in Photoshop, it is not as bright and vibrant as the image view in Lightroom.  I have nothing in Photoshop can restore the image to its counterpart in Lightroom.

I am running Windows 10 and Adobe CC 2015.5.  My screen is a 24 "LED-backlit Dell U2413, calibrated with Spyder5pro. I export images from Lightroom to matte printing paper as sRGB as JPEG with a quality set at 100 and the resolution to 300.

If I find the image exported to any other viewing application, Lightroom Jpeg seems well.  It doesn't seem bad until it hits Photoshop.  I have not even to save in Photoshop. It looks like offshore as soon as it opens.  Is there a setting in Photoshop I'm wrong I don't understand or know?

I'll try to include a screenshot of the two for a side-by-side comparison.

    AdobePSvLR.jpg

When Lightroom and Photoshop the colors do not match, it is usually caused by a defective monitor profile.

Did you upgrade to Windows 10? If so, have you done a calibration since the upgrade?

Windows 10 is known to install the manufacturer monitor profiles, which tend to be of poor quality and will replace all current profile.

It is also possible that a profile you created by calibration can be damaged.

As your monitor seems to be a wide range (which means about Adobe RGB), try to set the monitor in Adobe RGB profile.

Press the Windows key + R, type colorcpl in the box and press ENTER.

This will open the color management dialog box, and you can now see what profile is set as the default, which will tell you if Windows has replaced the original profile, or if your calibrated profile is always default.

Now follow the instructions in the screenshots below, and make sure you check out use my settings for this device.

If this solves the problem. re - calibrate with your Spyder.

  • images shows don't not correctlyin in Lightroom or photoshop :(

    Hi all

First post in these forums and really hope someone will have some ideas on this issue I tried to solve for months.

I'm a little while back with my software, running PS CS5 and LR4. It has worked well for me on this computer for a long time before this...

My problem is that none of my images are displayed correctly in photoshop or lightroom, but they look fine in other programs (for example, paint, windows 10 photos app, but not the windows photo viewer).  The only way I can get the images to look properly is proof view them to monitor RGB.  That tells me it must be a question of color management.  I played around with all the settings of the color management in lightroom and photoshop, but nothing has worked.

The image below is a crop of a screenshot showing the correct appearance in the windows 10 photos app (left) and the ugly version of photoshop (right).

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks for the quick responses.

The images I see in PS and LR are certainly not the correct rendering.

Check the quality of the color using a color like this reference image: http://www.digitaldog.net/files/2014PrinterTestFileFlat.tif.zip

If it's bad, it's your screen calibration. Once again, Photoshop and LR are properly data preview, but perhaps with a mediocre display profile but not color managed the app should be ignored even if they appear better. Previews are incorrect. They are not color management.

  • Keep the dng or CR2 files when switching from Lightroom and Photoshop.

From Lightroom and Photoshop, how can I keep the dng or CR2 files. Now it changes the psd and when I return to Lightroom it removes options in the section of Calibration of the camera, so that while I have a choice (Adobe Standard/camera faithful), after returning from Photoshop file I have "Embedded." How can I keep the dng or CR2 files

Adding to the good advice of Alfred - a raw file cannot be registered as the other files.

Its only use is the basis for the creation of new files, which must be regular files, such as tiff, psd or jpg.

When you edit a raw file in Lightroom, it does not change the file, the changes are written to the catalog.

Optionally, save the changes in the form of metadata (xmp) sidecar files, or in the case of DNG in the file itself.
