Lights of fireworks or Dreamweaver to start the design process?

Please tell us which is the best application use to start the design process a site, from the point of view of a print designer code-illiterate - I assumed it would be Dreamweaver but read somewhere recently that I should start in Fireworks (which I always thought was more for the creation of graphical web content optimized).

As a print designer, I use InDesign CS4 (with Photoshop and Illustrator) and would like the tool more logical and intuitive to use to start the work of designing a site with advice.

Once the design is approved I will have someone who knows what they're doing with HTML, CSS and PHP etc to check everywhere and make the delicate bits.

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

If you are a designer to create a new design, Fireworks is a great place to start. (I can't imagine trying to design in Dreamweaver, frankly). If you are familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator, you might start with one of these applications, too, but Fireworks has been built to work.

However, Fireworks is not a coding tool. Like Photoshop, it has the ability to export HTML, but the feature is designed to create models, not live sites. After you have your site designed in Fireworks, you or someone else can use Dreamweaver for (re) - produce the design in the code.

You can use Fireworks to statements your vertical grids, placing graphics header and navigation, place-holding text value (remember that HTML text can be resized by our users, places for blocks of text must therefore be able to resize). And Yes, once you have your design, use Fireworks to slice that design and export the graphics optimized for your encoder to use.

Questions on "configure and start the server process" step during the r12 upgrade

There is a not listed in the 11i 12.1.1 to upgrade guide, 'the Server Configure and start processes. It looks like to includes two parts, run autoconfig tire to the database and run the quick installation of second time.
so I have two questions here:
1. looks like the quick second installation is just autoconfig, so can I just run autoconfig instead of the second quick installation?
2. that we'll first? automatic configuration in the database or quick installation service?

AutoConfig will not start the services so I'd run fast install and it should run the automatic configuration for you.

Partition recovery NB200 - 10G - failed to start the recovery process

I NB200 a customer on the bench. He arrived with complete operating system failure and wouldn't boot from the partition of the OS or the recovery Partition.

I checked the hard drive and it is in perfect working condition. However, it seems that all is not well that I can't boot from the partition recovery even after holding doen the 0 key.

I tried to ask him to start from the TRUNK. INI file by pointing a "revoery" to the partition option, but it just comes up with an error message saying \system32\HAL file is missing or damaged. Does anyone know how I should ask the partition to start or how could I retrieve information from image files?

If you check page 48 in s manuals you will find an exact description how to start installation of recovery. The procedure on this NB200 is same or, at least, similar to all laptops come with HARD drive recovery image. Please check.

I inserted my cs6 disk into my computer to reinstall, but it does not start the installation process. I can not eject it from my machine. What should I do?

It gives "could not connect to the database". So, you can check if the DB is running. Also check the process of "listener".
DB is in place, restart the process OID.

Error because the registration/serial number is not valid. And now I do not know how the evidence that I am a student and get the version activated...

Dreamweaver appears in the design, but not live and not in the browser, html will appear but you can't css it

all of a sudden I can't add css to a newly created page in the existing folder/site that works very well

well by copying and pasting a stay of a css property half was stuck

MacBook pro starts the process but stop before midway lights

My MacBook Pro starts the boot process but stops and stops before reaching the point to halfway. This can be the result of something that I did yesterday, I disabled my MacBook during a software update. I don't know what has been updated. (I've left for a few hours and would not leave my computer on while I was out.)

Is there something at home, I can do to fix this?

If you do not know what has been updated, nor do we. Could have been a critical system component. Try to start in Safe Mode and see if that clears up the problem. If this is not the case, start in Recovery Mode, select disk utility and make a disk first aid. If that doesn't work or you can't get into Recovery Mode, then try Internet Recovery Mode, while the Mac is connected to the Internet (press Command + Option + R) so it starts off Apple servers and reinstall OS X. If all goes well, you won't lose too much data.
