• Firefox crashes or freezes when opened. Help, please!

  My firefox does not open. I have been using Firefox without problems for years until yesterday. I have a Mac OS X 10.10.3. Whenever I open Firefox, it immediately crashes or freezes. I have to go to my dock to "force quit" Firefox. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Firefox 38.0.1 several times and no luck. I tried to start Firefox in "safe mode" and as soon as my default screen opens (Yahoo.com) and when I click on anything, whether it's freezing immediately again.

  I'm not able to get Firefox open enough before it freezes to be able to go to 'preferences' to try to change or remove cookies or anything else.

  Also, I had hundreds of bookmarks, when I get Firefox and running, is there a way to recover these bookmarks?

  Currently, I am forced to use Safari which is horrible. Help, please!

  You do not create another account on the computer. You're doing a
  new user of Firefox with your own user account profile. Firefox may have
  many profiles under the same user account.

• Top cut when I import a video to wmv.  Help, please.

  When I import a video wmv in first elements 9 the upper part of the video is cut off.  The video plays well outdoors with the reader windows and plays first, but the top is cut.  This happens for any video I try to import.  The properties of the video are the following... 798 w x h 480, 25 fps, 1858 Kbps.  I really need help with this one, because I can't even to begin a project.

• Problems with video DVD files. Help, please! :)

  Hi, I recently got a DVD movie, I wanted to take off a clip. However, while I can look at the section I want to in Windows Media Player, when I import the first movie - some of them is missing! There are 4 files 4-1' 4-2' 4-3', 4-4' that make up the film. I can load everything but 4-3 missing the last 15-20 minutes, even though I know its there - cos this file is the same size as the previous one which made the entire length. Does anyone know why this would be? The DVD is not encrypted.

  Please help - its quite annoying that the small part of the movie I want is the bit that doesn't appear! Thank you very much

  I forgot to ask... have you tried to convert the VOBs VIDEO_TS to DV AVI, using a free software such as the free MPEG Streamclip, followed by integrating the DV AVI Premiere Elements version (get multimedia files / & records)?

  I have the same problem with my new Sony xperia M4 Aqua. I can't do anything on the phone because it shut down by itself and the video start playing all the time. I close the Bluetooth, NFC, but after a few seconds, they opened in itself. Applications and widgets is that it self. The settings does not meet my settings how I want them to be.   I went to a 3D effect with a layer of setting with striped lines. I have the transfer on these lines mode of "classic color burn" because that's the look I want. However when I visited the outside effect, the lines are almost invisible in the final rendering. Also, I have a few lights in the scene and uses 3D with a 3D object elements. The lights could be causing a problem? I will attach a photo of the scene before and after rendering. Thanks in advance for any help!

  I thought about her to everyone who can run in this issue. Make sure that you disable "accept the lights" and "accepts shadows" in any layer 3D, you won't be affected by the lights in your scene.

  problem is at  Row rw=getRowAtRangeIndex(x); for loop is not workin here...when i manually put zero,first(),last() in place of x works fine i get the first row ..but if i put 1,2...10 or any number i get a null pointer exception..

  Hello. I just bought a HP all in one single 8620. I had a Kodak 9250 previously in the space now occupied by the HP. I have just re-connected all cables that they were on the Kodak but I have a condition of line test Fax "fail" is this normal?

  I have DSL service, two sons at & t external modem, two CPUS (one using wireless printing) and phone/answering machine in one device.

  connections are; Crossover ADSL wall jack in a line will printer line 1, then 2 - ext phone/answer.

  A - Ethernet from the modem to the printer, a modem to CPU1, CPU2 a modem.

  Is that what that sounds right?

  I just bought a Panasonic SC - V770 HD camcorder.  He recorded in 1080/60 p AVCHD or 1080 / 50 M MP4 as options high Qual... First Q?  should what format I use to capture my videos at home for the highest quality.  2nd Q, my plan is to store them on a server computer that I use for broadcast on the network and watch on my HD TV.  What should be the final revised/rendering format of the first Pro CC for streaming and backup to keep my HD videos of high quality for years to come?   Should I store in a Hi-bitrate MPEG2 HQ or HQ, Hi-bitrate H.264 mp4?   Thank you!!

  There is no easy answer.   AVCHD and H264 MP4 are capable of high quality capture and storage.  Which is better choice boils down to what your made.

  Both formats are saved via a codec that compresses (but almost everything is these days.)

  In terms of absolute quality, AVCHD is probably wins by a nose.  However, in terms of compatibility, file size and current usage is, h.264/MP4 is probably the slight winner...

  FYI, AVCHD is a format jointly developed by Sony and Panasonic, so if someone can get the best out of it, there's a good chance it could be you Panasonic camcorder.

  Frankly, you will get good quality of work so be it.  If it were me, I would probably shoot AVCHD then, after editing, export to MP4 H.264 for the storage and distribution... but there is no answer "right".

  Thank you for your response. I just came back good. After making sure that I got all the updates, I quit and restarted photoshop and it does the trick.

  My video is slightly zoomed in, cropping of important documents, despite a setup my sequence to match the resolution and the dimensions of the video settings.   Chances are defective obtained settings during this copy of a copy of a copy, etc.

  It is the nature of the movieclips. They play only when you make a film Test. If you want an animation that plays when you scrub the timeline, select the element and change it to be a chart instead. You can do this in the properties panel.

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.
