OptiPlex 390 DT, Palit NVidia Geforce 210 is not detected in the PCI slot (as shown in the BIOS)?

Hello gentlemen!

I would like to know why the graphics card is not detected in my PC.

The graphics card is 64-bit 1024Mo sDDR3

And the CPU has

Intel I3, 6 GB ram

-Installed the gpu

-Start windows built in graphics

-installation of the driver fails two albums and the latest drivers downloaded from Nvidia or Palit saying there are no devices detected installing

-checked the BIOS and I saw that pci slot where my g-card displayed an [empty]

-traveled around the bios by any disabling of options for my integrated in the card or anything... any

-checked around dell.com and saw that nvidia geforce 210 cards are compatible with my pc model exactly, even if this compatible graphics card has been a model of Evga, not a model from Palit.

-which is where I started scratching my head

Is there other details, that I need to provide?

I appreciate the help.

The 210 was a terrible GT card when it comes to compatibility.  Brand can also make a difference. Given that the GT 210 is an old map of the series, I would say get a GT 610 rather like this one HERE and turning the GT 210.  The EVGA TG 610 is also mentioned as being compatible with the Optiplex 390 DT.  I assume that you bought a PCI Express X 16 video card and not a PCI card, correct?

  • Video card GeForce GTX 660 not detected by the motherboard Windows 7

I recently upgraded my PC with an Asus z97 - a motherboard and processor Intel i5 4. After the reinstallation of Windows 7, I was able to get a signal from my video card 660 geforce gtx for a few hours. After Windows install several updates, however, I am unable to use my video card without receiving an ENTRY NOT FOUND both of my monitors. My video card is also not appearing in Manager devices, or BIOS and use rather Intel HD Graphics. Cause of the undetected video card, I am unable to install the latest drivers for my card and I have no idea what to try next. I also made sure my current diet provides enough power for the card. Is powered without a doubt the map because the fans spinning, I'm positive that I've attached all required power cables, and the card is inserted completely into the motherboard. I tried all PCI-E ports in my motherboard, but it continues to not display. I tried to install the drivers manually, but the video card should be detected before this is possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My specs:

    ASUS card mother Z97 - A

    Videocard GeForce GTX 660

    Intel i5 processor 4

    8 GB RAM

    700W ATX power supply

I should point out that I have tried almost every technical troubleshooting that I have met, with the exception of disabling Intel HD Graphics. I fear that if, due to there not being any trace of my video card in the BIOS and Device Manager, if I disable this will also lose signal from the motherboard of DVI and HDMI, ports that are what I currently use.

  • L50 - A - nVidia GeForce satellite does not properly

I got an interesting question with my graphics card dedicated (Nvidia Geforce GT m 740) for the last few months.

The internal graphics card will work fine, then after playing a game or watching movies for a few hours (the things that use the dedicated graphics card on the intel integrated), the game will crash and I will get a pilot error in the taskbar.

Sometimes, it is followed by a BSOD. After this point, the card seems to disappear, it cannot be used, detected by any software, including software and Nvidia GPU - z and becomes hidden in Device Manager.

Once he did, it's completely random as to when it reappears, could be hours, days.
What usually happens is after hibernation, when I turn on the laptop, rather than restore the laptop will be start as if to be closed, then I check and the GPU is back.
While it works, I have not noticed any tear or performance problem.

I suspect that there is an error with the card itself, but hope that someone can have some sort of solution.
I tried update/restore drivers and reinstalled windows, but no real success.

Unfortunately this has started to happen just off warranty (probably only a few weeks, typical!), so I hope someone can get some ideas.

    Thanks in advance.

I would be happy to provide you with more info that may be useful.

    I got a BSOD at and I also had a gpu 740 m dedicated.
I installed an older driver and ran a full scan of the system. He finds a Trojan horse and I deleted it.
    Now everything works fine.

  • HP Pavilion TV 8070a Media: Nvidia geforce 7500, is not compatible with windows 10

When you try to upgrade to Windows 10 and after preliminary analysis of my system by the Win 10 app, I get a Win 10 error message and can not run the Win 10 update.

"Nvidia geforce 7500 the, the manufacturer of the screen did not your screen compatible with windows 10.

I search the Web for solutions but can not find free driver updates.

I followed your suggestion with a slight variation, and I am now under Win 10.

Before you start, I did a complete picture of the system and backup using my existing Win 7 and created a repair of the system / boot drive.

    My steps were:

    1. download Win 10 from the Microsoft site on a USB key.

    2. I tried to start on the key and do not far in the Win 10 installation routine, when I received a message to restart Windows 7 normally and start the installation of Win 10 since the key.

    3. after a while win 10 started but the screen was skewed and none of the options/settings display gives a suitable display. So you don't have to try to correct the display settings.

4 followed the link for the driver NVIDIA 7500LE W7 32 bit and downloaded the win 7 - 309.08 and installed it.

    5. it resulted in a first-class screen display using the default size of 100% and its good even at 125% (editable via the Advanced display settings.

So everything is good and I thank you all for your help.

PS I did a complete system and docs backup Image and also created a repair of the Win 7 System / Boot disk before you start the above, just in case things went wrong.

Try drivesweep. 3rd party software to remove the drivers.

  • Pavilion p7 - 1226 s: card Nvidia GT 710 does not work with the P7-1226 Pavilion

I installed a graphics card from EVGA Nvidia GT 710 in my Pavilion p7 - 1226, and when I turned on the PC, he remained at the HP splash screen and all does not load more. It would also give a single beep every so often. I can not enter the Boot Options by pressing ESC. I removed the card and the PC worked fine again. I checked the card before removing it and it has been installed.

I had already installed a 430W power supply, so power in watts is not the issue.

I have studied the issue online, and it seems that the problem may be with the motherboard of the PC HP (IPISB-CU), not the card. Can someone tell me how to get this card to work with this PC, please?

    Thank you!

    SJTemp, welcome to the forum.

The GT 730 graphics card requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS / Legacy.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  There is no way to upgrade the BIOS in the UEFI.  I suggest you to contact EVGA Tech Support (1-888-881-3842) to see that if they can help you make the card work.  Otherwise, who needs no UEFI cards of the GT 640.

Please click on the button + Thumbs up if I helped you and click on accept as Solution If your problem is resolved.

  • Satellite P100 - nVidia Geforce Go 7600 graphics card crashed

    Hello!

My graphics card is broken down, and after removing dozens of screws, I checked that it is not built into the motherboard. I could he dismantled after removing the screws of the bottom three.
    -My laptop is a Toshiba P100-342 (PSPA3E-0QE038SP)

-The graphics card is a nVidia Geforce Go 7600.
    · Here you can see on the motherboard: http://imageshack.com/a/img834/5825/ktl8.jpg

Research in the internet, I found just 1 card graph similar to mine. But I don't know if it will work, because I read that the devices must be exactly the same as the original:

    c918 http://www.eBay.es/ITM/New-Toshiba-A000013050-NVIDIA-G73M-128MB-GeForce-Go-7600-Video-Graphics-Board-/360821279000?PT=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&Hash=item54029f & _uhb = 1

I asked the seller eBay on compatibility and his answer was: "Please contact Toshiba for the complete product compatibility." But Toshiba does not provide any support after the expiration of the warranty (in Spain).

Anyone replaced this graphics card? Do you think I should buy the graphics card of this ebay? Are there other solutions? (for example: replacing the entire motherboard...)

    Thanks a lot in advance.

I never had to replace a graphics card in a notebook, but I wouldn't buy any part if I m not 100% sure if it would be compatible with my laptop.

Is that SATELLITE P100-342 was equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (name of code G73M) PCI Express x 16 (GDDR2 dedicated 256 GB RAM) graphics card.

The part on ebay supports 128 MB only and that's why I think that the two parties are not the same.
This might be the reason not to buy this piece.

  • HP ENVY 15 Notebook E1P04AV: HP ENVY 15 problem NVIDIA GEFORCE

I'm supposed to have NVIDIA GEFORCE graphics on my computer, but the vehicle has currently the Intel HD graphics running. So I tried to download and install the driver from the GUI, but then after I installed it, I got a popup that says that NVIDIA could not find graphics cards or equipment which corresponds to the driver.

I know for a fact that I don't have a card NVIDIA graphics in the computer, because there is a sticker on it, and nothing inside the computer has been tampered with.

Check if the graphics card in your device manager section has two knots like the image below.

If there is a single one (Intel only) then your PC is not just any other GPU. So don't try to install any other drivers.

    Hey,.

Does that mean exactly? You get an error during installation or what exactly is going on?

    > Only safe mode is available after the installation of this driver
Why only safe mode is available? What happens if you start Windows in normal mode?

And before you start a lengthy discussion: what laptop do you have?

You may notice no problem if you install Windows recovery disk Toshiba?
