  Hoping someone can help with this. I have a report (list of loans for a person) who gets refreshed dynamically when the account number is changed. The loan id column is a link when you click fires a dynamic action that uses JavaScript to highlight the current line

  It works fine first time around, but if the loans area is updated the javascript does not work anymore and the current line is not highlighted.

  you don't need to use set_item_instance_property, or even to write any kind of code, that this feature is managed by Oracle form of himself.

  Simply create a Visual attribute with the background color of you choice and the value of the block "* current record Visual attribute group * ' with the value of the name of your Visual attributes. This will change the background color of all the issue's current block record.

  If you want to change only little background of the item so simple change of color of the item "* current record Visual attribute group * ' with your Visual attribute name.

• Measure highlights in the image

  Hello world.

  I was presented with a challenge.

  Our team of mechanics built a machine that randomnly erodes the surface of a test tube.

  It is an image of a specimen captured at the beginning of a test:

  

  As you can see four white lines are present in the image, the lines are caused by the reflections of the lamps.

  And this is a picture of a similar specimen at the end of a test.

  

  We already found a satisfactory means to measure areas of erosion and it seems to be robust for all colors of possible test specimen

  Now they decided they wanted the machine to measure the length of the white reflection lines (online), because the erosion to some materials only causes the surface to become tangled.

  And not necessarily give obscurity eroded area above.

  an example of such a case of use can be seen below:
  

  I tried several approaches without success.
  Ideally I would like to isolate the highlighted lines, so that the system could identify almost the same lines as those which is hand painted below

  

  Tried methods:

  1)
  IMAQ find Edge, to get the endless lines that best described the lines of reflection highlighted.
  Then using an binning method, the line is segmented, in the place where there is enough light in the picture.
  This method is, however, very sensitive to the horizontal change in lighting and usually either find endpoints, or frosted and middle section correctly.

  2)
  Tuning IMAQ detect lines
  It gives me:
  

  Which is exactly what I want, as I hoped that the lines on the left of the eroded area would also include, and lines lie above and below the highlights would have been excluded, but getting close.

  3)
  High pass filter of the image to improve the edges and remove the effects of the quality of variable light.
  The built-in methods had tend to reinforce the edge of erosion more or equal to the highlights, so I tried to build my own kernel to improve only the horizontal characteristics, but even with a core of 5 x 5 was the best result I got:

  If you have an idea, that I can use to either improve the highlighted lines, so that the length can be measured I would really appreciate it.
  I tried to adjust gamma, contrast and brightness to make the 'white' lines stand out, but due to the change in light, this also gives the bright Center of the image until the lines are increased in the extremities.

  You can very easily find everything at the top and the bottom line using advanced search of edge. It extracts the values of the pixels form the profile of the line and you should be able to detect all non-uniform pixel values.

  Hi, I'm living greener beginners.  I paint with the tool pen (grrrrr not able to master) and when I have the intersection of lines such as curves in the form of s 2 midpoint has a gap so that it looks like someone erased part of a single line.  I use 25 pt round brush.  Also, it is in CS 5.5 I tried to highlight all the lines at once looking for a tool change that and no luck I searched google for the intersecting lines and gaps and nothing seems to FIR my problem.  Any help would be grateful.  Illustrator of the magnet up to now.

  I have a standard report (based on a sql) with break on the first column.
  
  For example, my report displays the information used by department number. If many employees in the same Department, I want the Department number must appear only once in my report and so I put a break on the starting number column. But in addition, I want to / highlight color department number or all of the lines related-how should I do this? I don't have a few departments with several employees and the rest have only one employee by the Department. So, I want to highlight only the records with the same number of dept and not highlight any department number that appears only once.

  One idea would be to make a copy of the report model you use and then customize in use in this report.

  The report template to define a condition for up to three different line display models. The condition can be PL/SQL and can refer to values for line current. You can add a column to your report query that counts the number of employees in the same Department and use it as a condition for a line with a highlight show.

  SELECT by example..,.., COUNT (emp) OVER (PARTITION BY dept) as count_emps

  In your model of your requirement for the line highlighted version may refer to the column as #COUNT_EMPS count_emps #. If a PL/SQL Expression #COUNT_EMPS # > 1 would trigger the use of the corresponding model. In this model, you need to set up some CSS or HTML attributes for color or highlight the line.

  Set the model for the highlighted line to be the first or add a condition contrary to the other model of the line to keep the line of other models to be used.

  I read my user manual. It is said it can be caused by an abnormal voltage or a power problem but I don't know if my charger is the one bringing or there is a power problem.

  The voltage is correct and I tried to plug in charger everywhere but still DC-flashes orange. In fact, I can t use my laptop when the charger is unplugged because its battery lows down so I can t use my laptop at all when he can load t.

  Most likely a bug. Have you tried to turn and switch on your device? (Yes.. I know how corny that sounds) Sometiemes fix them like that. Don't the lines disappear once you entered on the main screen?

  I try to delete specific lines in a block of channels and find that DataBlDel() is extremely slow. Of course, my channels is fairly long (~ 36e6 lines), but I find that it takes hours to remove a handful of lines. Is there a better way to do it?
