  I found reading file express vi measure in LV7.1 does not read from the beginning of the file when you run it the second time. Instead, it resume from where it left off last time.   I need to display numbers as 1, 2, 3... constantly using the loop on each iteration (IE out of the loop using threads). I generated the numbers 1 2 3... using the back power node... I can read the final value after the last iteration of the loop for.

  I connected an indicator of the loop for. This indicator displays the value as a 4 If the number of loops that 4. I couldn't view 1 2 3 4 an indicator of items at each iteration.

  The timing is part of the production of signals information. Never use the functions of the Express, but you can use DDT to and convert to one of the data types of waveform. Waveform components then turns the dt.

Later, I realized that my "downloads" had been removed. Is it possible to restore these because they are all related to Internet Marketing elements such as plugins, I downloaded ebooks, scripts etc etc?

  I looked in the folder that was created automatically by Firefox on reset but I can not find them in there!

  I've made a few changes to the CreateProcess call and it seems to "work". Output has been redirected in test.txt, but a black console window appears while test.exe is running. I put si.dwX to-10000 so that it should be off the screen.

• Toshiba 46TL968 cannot read the list of channels - only "hotel mode" appears

  Before the new update, I was able to easily read in my channel edited list.

  Can you attach a file of real data and tell us what you mean by "first character". The number of characters per line do you have?

  Can you tell us what you see in the modified file and what you expect to see.

  Everything seems good.

  1. Read you the first line and so the file pointer is just after the first line
  2. You set the size of the file at the end (seems unnecessary, because it does nothing). The file pointer is always right after the first line.
  3. You write the first line you read concatenated with a second line. It will be written on the current file pointer, i.e. after the existing line
  4. The first line is in the file twice, as planned.

  Setting the file size to the 'end' on an existing file does not have something useful. If you want to set the position of the file instead?

  Try to set the file position from and new data will be written at the beginning of the file.

  I have a problem with the reading of a text file in LabView which I think is pretty easy to do, but since I'm really new to labview (and programming at all) I'm having a hard time to understand.

  So basically, I use the VI 'write file to measure' to write some test results to a text file. I'm just the ones and zeros so the text file looks something like this:

  1.00000

  0.00000

  1.00000

  ..

  and so on.

  I would then import these values in labview but I don't want decimals and I would like that everything on the same line, something like this:

  1 0 1 0 etc etc.

  (the idea is to then be able to convert the values to a hexadecimal number 1-F, if for example the above entry would result in 6.)

  I tried to use the function of text file reading, but I don't know how to convert then the entrance of my desired format.

  Also if you have any idea on how to start playback at the first 1, and then read the next 4 entries contact that would be great as well.

  The text size is so low in the views of folders for primary e-mail that it is very difficult to read the subject lines of emails. I think I remember that earlier versions 'Zoom' has been activated and you could adjust the size. Looks like that the size is set at approximately 6 pt type. Must be at least 12 points. • Re-read in values in the measurement file when the file is updated

  I'm trying to control a power supply with labview and adjust the tension. I currently work reading in a file and measures affecting the value in the file. I now have the question I want to update this value when the file is modified, as read in the file again when it is updated and set the voltage again. I've tried several things, but if I put the file in the while loop, then it plays once and then returns 0 after the first loop. Outside the while loop it reads only the initial value.

  I'm quite new to labview so any help would be appreciated.

  You can use the File Info VI for the time that the file was modified.  If the time has changed, read the new values.

• Agilent 34461 to read? and controls the measure

  Hi all

  At the present time, I have some writing using LabView.  I'm followed certain current over time until that breaks the device, and everything works like I want it.

  I have my code setup so that the measure command is sent every x seconds (a variable which can be set) in a while loop.  I was wondering if there is a way to have it constantly measure and then I read only the current every x seconds.  The reason why I ask is because whenever this command is sent, you can hear the relay of Agilent clicking when it is triggering, and if I send you this command every second, they can be hard on equipment.

  Is there a way to always measure as when it is not in remote mode?  Can I use the reading? order to get read the current?

  I don't expect everyone should become familiar with this instrument, of course.  As I am new to LabView, I was wondering if this is possible (maybe even to other pieces of equipment).
