  Hi all
  I have a question about the application of APEX session time-out. I created a simple application of the APEX. In the region report SQL section, I have code like this:

  When the user click on the hyper link, it will show the landing page for the user (for example if DOC_URL = 'http://forums.oracle.com', it displays the oracle forum page in a new browser).
  
  But the problem is that after the user session timeout (I set to 240 seconds through shared components > change the security attributes, I put max the session for example 240 seconds timeout) when I click on this hyperlink, it does not raise my session timeout page and it still shows the page (oracle forum page).
  
  Why in the APEX by clicking on the link hyper does not trigger page session timeout after the user session timeout?
  
  How implememt or fix to trigger the session timeout page after clicking on hyperlinks?
  
  (BTW, our version of the APEX is 3.2)

  rather than use your my_stored_procedure you could call a new APEX page where you have a page called P999_PDF_ID. On this new page you would have
  treat a front header PL/SQL with the same code you have in your "my_stored_procedure". The only change would be to add a

  apex_application.g_unrecoverable_error := TRUE;
  

  at the end of your code as well as APEX does not generate a standard page of APEX.

  That's all. If a user clicks on a link, APEX will check the session timeout and if everything is ok, download your PDF file.

• 14.04 the unit does not load firefox only gksudo or comments "will."

  I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

  I have several html pages that contain many hyperlinks throughout the page

  On each page there is a button print javascript (ie. onclick = "returnfalse... window.print ();")

  Whenever a user selects the option in the print dialog box to print the page in Adobe PDF, the output (pdf) does not keep hyperlinks.

  No, unless you convert the page yourself, upload to the server and make it available for download. There no way for the buttons in the HTML to control the Acrobat plugin, nor to say even if it is installed.

  I'd be willing to bet it has something to do with your brand on the web. Remove your MOTW comments and see if that changes things locally.

  I think it is a bug. I uninstalled Acrobat and reinstalled Acrobat v11.0.0. I tried the link and it works properly. Then, I installed each both updated and tested the hyperlink. Update 1-10, that the link works. However, when the 11.0.11 update is installed, the "Go to a page in another document" hyperlink stops working in browsers. V11.0.12 installation does not solve the problem. If I uninstall Acrobat and install v11.0.0 with updated v11.0.10, everything works fine.

  What is happening (very probably) because Firefox is not store your history navigation for long, or at all. Go to tools > Options > privacy and if ensure that configurations are defined as you want to be. If they are, it is likely that you have some security software that is to clear the history of your Firefox (and possible other browsers have installed). The likely suspects are the antivirus, firewalls, and the suites of security, but utilities such as CCleaner cleaning are also able to clean up Firefox browsing history and other personal data. Make sure that you have configured them to do this.

  I must remind you, however, that some sites (they are rare, although) don't have not their links change color when it is visited. This happens only when their authors report deliberately does not change colors. You can force Web sites to use a color scheme of your choice by going to tools > Options > content > colors... and uncheck 'allow pages to choose their own colors ". You can also configure the color scheme on this screen.
