  Cheap and good jovi...  That IS indeed a serious problem.    But at least the iPod still plays music, so its battery is OK.

  You use the USB cable supplied with 2nd gen iPod?  It is long with a cradle at the end of the shuffle.  The replacement of home cable shuffle Apple sells currently is to shuffle 3rd and 4th generation and does not work with 2nd gen shuffle (connector is different).

  There are third party replacement cables, but they must be described as 2nd gen shuffle.  And they tend to be cheap and of poor quality, then this might be the problem here.

  If you have the right type of cable, when you connect it to the USB of your computer, look at the little light the shuffle.  Blink initially when it is connected?  It turn on, but remain solid (not flashing)?  There is No light at all when connected?

• Images of episode not appearing is not in iTunes

  I just had my podcast approved by iTunes, but I don't see my image of the episode. I have an image for the item of the episode in my feed and it's at the right size, but still nothing. So, I'm not sure if the tag in my stream is wrong or something wrong with my image.

• Downloading movies iTunes transfer between computers

  I downloaded a movie from iTunes on my Macbook Pro and want to transfer this file on my Mac Mini, which is connected to the TV. I tried to copy the file, but when I opened the file m4v on Mac Mini video open like a video at home instead of a movie.   This question is doing all 3 hosted podcasts so I think it might be the same cause. What is the size of the file? It would be no less than 300 KB? or am I missing something? Problem with the ect power?

  Although the help of Apple on podcasting pages do not bother to specify, more than 500kB images are likely to be rejected; as the dimensions are OK, it's the more likely explanation. You should be able to increase the compression without affecting quality too seriously. When you do this I should give the image a different file name and changing the diet accordingly.

Even if by some miracle they would work on your Windows 10, which did not exist at that time, they would not be able to support mobile devices running anything newer than iOS 7 (iOS 9 is ongoing, and iOS 10 happen next month).
