Links not working not not in Safari and Mail.

Since I've updated my iPhone 6 more (128 GB) iOS 9.3, an annoying problem has come to life in Safari and Mail.

In Safari, I can do a search or add a site URL Web through the top bar, but then I can't navigate more because one of the links is clickable, but nothing happens... and it seems that Safari freezes for a short period.

The same problem happens in the Mail. When I click on a link to the application hangs and I have to restart.

This makes the phone unusable... Please Apple fix as soon as possible!

I agree. It is a known issue and Apple is working on a fix to 9.3. This article summarizes some of the problems with the current version. To disable Javascript in Safari, but this sacrifices the features of the web browser.

  • Text truncated in Safari and Mail

    9.03 Safari and Mail 9.2 display text in a mode blurred in many cases. It isn't all just random strings. Mail preview reads OK. Everything goes well on the iPhone (OS 9.2.1). But at the opening of the mail in the viewer and looking at Facebook on Safari, I see often unreadable text strings. Any suggestions to solve this? Thank you!

  • Print the text selected in Safari and Mail

    I want to print selected text only from Safari and Mail.  There is no option that I can see for this or to allow this.  I've got El Capitan.  I'm looking for a way to do it without having to copy the selection into another application like Evernote or Textedit.

    Thank you!

    As far as I KNOW, has no way to do this without 3rd party software. For example: http://chimpstudios.com/printselection.html

  • Our AJAX application intercepts F9 to provide contextual assistance. It works in IE7 +, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, but not in Firefox. Help!

    We did the IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera - research looking for a touch of common function which was unused to use to help our application context key - and settles on the F9 key.
    Is there a way to ensure that the key F9 key can be passed to the page - it seems doing nothing in Firefox, but is not passed to the page. -Thanks!

    Firefox does not window.event as IE does. He never has. Modern browsers can pass the event handler inline object. Here is an example. I don't know if older browsers support this (it works in IE8):

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <title>Test F9 keydown inline handler</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <p>Try F9<br><input type="text" name="textinput" size="25" value="sample value" onkeydown="keys(event,100)"></p>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function keys(evt, arg){
      if (evt.which == 120 || evt.keyCode == 120){ // F9 key
        alert("Function passed: "+arg);
      }
      return false;
    }
    </script>
    </body>
    </html>

  • Problems with the opening of links in Safari and mail

    I can't open a link from email or Safari.  I have updated to IOS 9.3, but that did not help or the other.  Anyone else having this problem?

    Many other people if you look at the discussions of the forum. Currently, there is no single solution. Some were lucky, enter settings, safari and the disabling of javascript, but it did not work for all. Others were lucky enough to find and use another browser as a workaround. At the end of the day, it's Apple to release a patch and there is no timetable as to when this happens.

  • great mystery - simple animation now does not have safari and chrome

    An animation simple edge - basically a slideshow with a button / stop - which has certainly worked with Chrome a few weeks ago now does not work - neither with Safari.

    http://peachesincrime.com/SWF/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012.html

    First thought is that both of these browsers have changed their behavior script and "users of edge so sorry."

    But having found that there is no fundamental difference between it and all other animations on http://peachesincrime.com/underthehood.html I reduced the size of the stage of 1388 x 933 to 800 x 600 and it now seems to work. I have not yet seen what the upper limit is

    Customer wishes to maintain the resolution or even increase in the future to display pictures in all their glory on the retina screen resolutions.

    Is this a problem with the edge and is there a way around this?

    Thank you

    I have updated the animation with pictures that match the size of the scene with precision. An initial test suggests that it works now with chrome, but so far on a single machine under test, safari seems to run the animation but to 1/20 the speed of the other browsers.

    for anyone interested in trying to figure out what is causing this, I moved the defective original mentioned above in another folder http://peachesincrime.com/swf/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012-2/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012.ht ml files

  • iPad freeze in safari and mail since 9.3 update

    iPad 2 freeze in mail and safari since 9.3 update

    Try these basic troubleshooting steps. Clear of Safari, close all applications and the strength to restart the iPad. No data will be affected.

    Claire Safari. Go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site

    Close all applications. Press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used. Drag to the left to find the application you want to close. Swipe up on the preview of the application to close.

    Force reboot. To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

    If these three things made no difference, try this. Reset all the settings. You won't lose any data, but most of the settings of the device will have to be entered again in the settings app. Settings > general > reset > reset all settings.
