  RAID Controller: Adaptec 6805 (driver of the community with the support)

  I had some problems with my RAID controller which I solved it using the Adaptec article: a table failed can be recovered? I ended up drop the table and re-create it.

  The RAID array is now in OPTIMUM condition, so I started ESXi and connected using vSphere to find all my virtual machines as unknown (Inaccessible).

  I started googling and found some information, but nothing so far to solve this problem.

  What is expected. All of the SQL and PL/SQL text in a database is effectively VARCHAR2 values. Therefore, can not literals of non-ASCII in a database of US7ASCII. But you can use the UNISTR function to encode non-ASCII Unicode letters escapes. See the SQL reference manual.

  For example, "Acentuacao test" can be represented as UNISTR ('acentua\00e7\00e3o test').

  I'm migrating a 10.2.0.4 database of 32-bit Windows to 64-bit Linux. I use OPatch to ensure that the RDBMS software is at the same level and have found I have patch #7522473 (10.2.0.4.12P) installed in my house Oracle Windows but not Linux. I can't find the Linux 64-bit equivalent. Any idea where I could find this?

  The 'P' in the way patch number is platform-specific. Windows patch bundles are completely different from the rest of the platforms supported, like for Windows patches are merged into the bundle and binary are precompiled, there is no unique pieces for the Oracle executable files. For other platforms, Oracle releases the files objects that solve a problem specific and executable are reprinted in the moment with them. If this patch is in conflict with some other exceptional items, you request a merge or wait for a power supply. This means have probably Oracle under Windows in perfect synchronization with Oracle everywhere else patch-wise - you do not have control on which patches are included in clusters of Windows patch and there may be cases where the batch of Windows hotfixes merges some one-offs for which no merger is on other platforms.

  And Jean Valentine advice is correct: patch to 10.2.0.5 then to CPUJan2011.

  I try to install ubuntu on my 900 yoga 16.04. The bios can see the drive hard samsung 512 GB and cannot therefore Windows.

  The ubuntu installer can't see it at all. I think it has to do with the sata in the bios mode. Unfortuneatly there is no option to change RAID AHCI or disabled. Will there be an update of the BIOS for this in the near future?

  It can be disabled to restrictions. Settings > general > Restrictions > allow installing apps should be on.  However, if the iPad is supervised by a school, you may not be able to change the settings. -AJ

• the DMP is missing when deploying using DMM

  I have a DMM and DMP on my network, for a reason that I put a '.xml' file on my DMP in the contents of the folder (\usb_1\deployment\content\\... http://tmp) and x - tac core folder too.

  the problem is when I deploy a presentation using the dmm to the DMP the xml file I store is MISSING.

  the question is why the xml file? I want this file is still there when I via DMM to the DPM Deployment Package.

  Hi Andrie,

  This folder is reserved for the deployment package, thus, all the files already present will be deleted when you perform a deployment.

  When you deploy a presentation or playlist, the DMM will push all required content for presentation, so, I'm afraid, I can't really point to attempt to download a file manually, but if you really want to do, you can download it after that deployment ended or just put in a different folder.

  Hi, I'm going to install 11 GR 2 on a Linux to Oracle Server 6-3. I did my Linux install, but do not use / install the RPM for preinstallation 11 GR 2.

  Q1. Are there additional documentation on what makes this package? 11g installation manual does not much.

  -J' understand that this package installs the packages of pre-required for the installation of 11 GR 2 (it is useful I suppose - although my level install Linux 6-3 missed only 7 packages listed in the installation manual 11 GR 2, which were quite easily copied from the installation of 11 GR 2 DVD)

  -It also creates the oracle user and groups required to install. I'm not too keen on this - because I prefer to choose my own usernames (especially if it comes from a server to Oracle multi hosting)

  -It also sets kernel parameters and user as required by the YES program in GR 11, 2 installation manual?

  Q2. At this point there is no matter how install me the package of preinstallation or should I just install 7 packages I miss and then create my own group of users: and make sure that the parameters of the kernel are by manual?

  I'm trying to use gasoline or otherwise, people have found this prior installation package?

  I am running VMware Server 2.0.2.  My host computer is a laptop running Windows XP SP3.  My comment system is Windows 2008 SR2.  The guest system physically resides on a hard drive USB, (I:\virtual machines\).

  I put in 'I:\virtual machines\' place as a store of data and then added the virtual machine to VMware Infrastructure Web Access inventory.  The machine starts, runs, etc.  If I stop and restart the host, connect the USB hard disk, and then open VMware Infrastructure Web Access, the virtual computer if displays grayed, and instead of the name it says: "unknown (Inaccessible).  To use my VM, I must remove from the inventory, then remove the data store and then add everything back.

  No idea why this is happening and how I can configure things so I don't have to go through this ritual every time?

  It's my first experience with VMware, so my apologies if there is more information to provide.

  Your problem is because VMware services start automatically at startup and the USB key is not present, the virtual machines defined in this data store is marked as missing. This isn't really a bug as such,

  You could try to define VMware services to manual start and start them, via a script if you prefer using 'net start' or 'sc start', necessary or stop and restart once the USB is connected. You might also have a script that uses vmrun to unsubscribe and re - register particularly affected VMs.

  Another approach would be to have all files for the virtual machine on the hard drive of your laptop, in the store default data or any other data store on C:, with the exception of the hard (s), since this will be the greatest, and as long as the virtual machine is not set to autostart on startup, this could work since I hope he'll only try and find the file in the data store (potentially missing) on the USB when you start the virtual machine, not when the host boots.

  We use the host ESXi 3.5 on DELL PE 2850 with RAID 5 local storage.  Today, I ran utility update for the host VMware and firmware updated BIOS and RAID on the host computer before a restart of the system.  After the reboot, the system correctly loads the operating system and when I check for storage, the data (with critical VM) store is missing.  Can not see that again.

  Please help me to recover my data with the virtual machines in her store.

  ESXi is installed on the same Partition RAID 5, which is located in the VMFS data store? for example. do you know that the partition is still intact?

  According to what the RAID firmware upgrade has done, it is possible that you may need to set the LVM. EnableResignature option 1 if the score ended with a new UUID.

  I'm missing a few characters, once I insert the text in a dynamic text field. characters are not lacking by saying; they are replaced by empty squares.

  characters such as the euro symbol and accentuated German letter.

  What is weird is that the other German accented letters appear. If only a few selected are missing.

  How Ive set up the FLA:

  (1) I added 4 text fields to the scene to police im using, Arial, one for each font style: normal, italic, bold and bold italic and in all 4 fields ive incorporated all Latin characters (to include the German characters accentuaded and im guessing it is in the punctuation group that contains the euro symbol so that one is also incorporated), not to mention as lowercase, uppercase, numeric, and all the groupd default to include the basic text.

  (2) I have a dynamic text field created with createTextField, and set up the ActionScript code following (2):
