  A colleague downloaded Acrobat Pro. I need her to make changes on its pdf files, save them as fdf files and send them to me. My Acrobat pages are static; its pages change because it brings corrections. She has no list of comments, so I don't see what are its modifications. How it can make static PDF documents and access list of comments?

  Looks like she's using the tool to edit text rather than the annotation tools. The stop until she's too far! Please see screenshot below. She needs to use the right tools.

  After the new update Adobe Acrobat DC a few days ago, all the comment sign on the comment bar, as well as the list of comment, are in black and white. Making it harder to browse the various comments (without filter) as it is difficult to distinguish between the various comments.

  Each comment that appears on the page, also appears on a list of the comments pane on the right.

  Sometimes, in the XI of Acrobat, I used to click on the comment on the page, then it will appear at the top of the list in the right pane it scrolling upward.

  Now, Acrobat DC, when we click on the comment on the page, it appears last on the list of comment in the right pane.

  This can be changed?

  I'm sorry to say this, but there is no such customizable comment setting in Acrobat DC.

• XI pro: is there a way to "zoom in" on the list of comments?

  Just loaded TCS4 last night. So happy to see that I can disconnect the list of comments finally.

  My other pet peeve, however, looks like it's still there... Is it possible to "zoom in" the list of comments? These old eyes need a larger font, especially when I have to work on a laptop.

  Please tell me (and mean it) that there is a way to do it.

  found. I don't know if it existed in previous versions, but it is in the comments list Options drop down menu > Preferences commenting. Commenting on the category, first field shows police comments and size.

• See the text of hignlighted in the list of comments

  In Acrobat 9.4.0 for Mac after you select is a pdf with text or one that I just scanned and registered with OCR, I am trying to view or print the area highlighted. They are empty in the comments list, and if I convert the pdf file to allow comment by reader I always can't highlight the text in the comments.

  Of older documents that I've highlighted text in the comments.

  Is there a setting I need to change?

  I'm scanning with ClearScan, but this problem even with that I converted to .pdf .doc

  Under Edition - Preferences - commenting on, make sure that you have enabled the box called "copy selected text into Highlight, strikethrough and underline comment pop-ups."

  I think that it is only most important preference in Acrobat Adobe must have enabled by default.

• How message list change color / highlight

  can we separate all the emails in the message list, with the lines below them or replacing the list with highlighted and not highlighted? I can't find any option, something similar to the attached picture, thank you

  You (we) have been "taken" by Microsoft's decision to hide extensions of known default files. Microsoft thought that it would be easier for novice users, but instead, it poses a serious risk to safety.

  Now you should see the full file name and I think you'll find that your "userChrome.css" file is actually ' userChrome.css.txt', which is false.
  
  In addition, your file 'chrome' should only show the file "userChrome.css", with no other file or folder. (Perhaps at another time you could add other files; not today.)
  Rename the file, place it in the appropriate folder and delete the useless file. Close, and then reopen Thunderbird and you should be good to go.

  FYI: one of the problems with the print screen is sometimes the path window is long enough to show the full path, so it is difficult to see one additional folder level.

• Comment / highlight tool combined

  There was to be a tool that combined noting and commenting on - you would like to highlight the text, and a comment box would automatically jump to the top. The icon was a T with a comment balloon. Tool disappeared for me and that's the one I use most often. Someone knows how can I fix? I don't have not updated anything recently or changed the settings or anything like that.

  Regarding "highlight text and a comments box would automatically jump upwards,"

  Try setting the preference:

  -> Edit-> preferences commenting-> check "automatically open comment jump - rises for comments other than notes '-> click Ok

  Now, when you select any text in the document, a pop-up comment window automatically opens.

• How to make a very original frame with the list comment and attachment?

  How can I make an original frame-like list of comment?

  I use Windows XP and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and Acrobat 9 SDK.

  I want to do a new plug-in that use a new image.

  The new framework is looking like list of comment and attachment.

  I want to show my original list and entry form to the framework.

  It is close to the comment list frame, but I want to see the original list.

  There is no support in the SDK to add your own panels.

  There is no support to change existing panels.

• Is it possible to make the comments list appear somewhere other than below the current PDF document?

  It would be great if there were some sort the list of comments when they participate in a review PDF could be moved to the right side of the PDF or in a window of its own. With a configuration dual monitor that this arrangement would allow better use of the screen real estate. It could also be useful for those who want all comments to be printed from a file without the annoying pause between each page.

  Yes it is possible, just click on & keep on comments (two yellow balloons) icon and drag off the bar.

• Help!  I have comments open in the initial view list

  I hope I am in the right forum now.  I have Adobe 8 Professional.  Can someone help me please find a way to put my list of comments to be open to the initial view.  It is not an option in the Navigation tab.  I'll send this document with the comments of other people and I want the list of comments to be open when viewing the document.

  I've already put the document 'Restore last view', but that only works for me not to the people sending it.

• Highlight on Macbook stops working

  I installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my new Macbook Air and highlight text works sometimes and sometimes not. In some PDF documents it does not at all, in others she is fine and in some, it is random - a text on some pages can be highlighted and others do not. It works perfectly on my iPad but not on the Macbook. When I try to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader DC it say already installed. What should I do? Its obviously aren't PDF files that are the problem for highlighting works well on the iPad. Any ideas?

  Please check when you try to highlight the text, it is present on the list of comment on the tools on the right pane.

  If so, then it is a known issue on Mac with the latest update and our team is working to resolve.

  Once you highlight the text in the PDF file, the point highlight comment will appear in the list of comments on the right side.

  If you want to change the highlight color, then you can press (Ctrl + E) or simply highlight text just right-click on it and select properties from the context menu.

  Click on the color option in the color palette that opens, choose the color you want.

  Open the sidebar comment. In the comments list, click the button in the Middle, comments filter and set the nail Type submenu. The count at the top of the list of comments will be among the highlights.
