Listening to the video in a vertical (portrait).

Our system uses version 5.3 on the DMP and the DMM.  The DMP is model 4400G.  I have a presentation display correctly in portrait mode on a vertical screen, but when the video plays it is wrung out in the playlist area and oriented as if the monitor is horizontal.  Everything else on the presentation works fine except the video, which seems to ignore the setting of rotation of the DMP.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you need to format your video vertical presentation before deploying it to the DMP.  The DMP does not know how to rotate video.

  • Turn the video landscape portrait?

    I have a video clip that is somehow in portrait mode, although it was filmed in the landscape, all I have to do is turn to be common sense and the video will be very well.  There is a half an answer here , but it is basically useless, because if I do that, I have a correct video but with two cut sides and two black bars on the top and the bottom and the whole project is still portrait...

    How can I fix?

    First, set your project the correct size.

    It seems that you leave the dimensions of your project determined by the first clip you dragged into it.

    Purposes of argument, we'll tell your clip is 1080 x 1920 instead of 1920 x 1080, and you want to rotate and used in a project of 1920 x 1080.

    (1) create your project. Explicitly set the dimensions of the project. Don't let it be dealt with by the first clip.

    (2) add your clip to the timeline. In the Inspector, change the rotation to 90 degrees or - 90 ° as the case.

    (3) in the Inspector, under spatial compliance, set it to None.

  • Green vertical lines / tracks audio FX of detachment and the music of the video clip

    iMovie 10.1 on El Capitan

    This isn't a simple modification / detach Audio edition.  Is delete an image only without deleting the other independent music and audio tracks FX built under it (not worth original audio with the image).

    I built FX and music tracks on a video that has many Visual changes (with some images just by music).  Now, I want to change a few images, but when I cut the video image, some FX and music under it also disappears (tracks built under the image, not shot with it).

    It seems that green vertical lines under the picture (in the time line) are tying in various capacities, although these FX and music tracks run far beyond the video image and were not turned with the video image.

    How can I remove those green vertical lines and detach these multiple audio tracks of the image I want to cut?  Thank you.

    Yes, if you delete a video file or even attached with audio clip, the audio will be deleted also.  You must move the anchor (green line) to an adjacent element.  To do this hold command and alt (option) key down and click on in the half superior audio clip (or in the clip of Cup or title) where you want the connection be moved on.

    (If there is no synchronization issues you can simply change the audio if it is related to another clip, and then quarterback after the change of the image.)

  • HP 2159 m monitor - problem is 'running ants' vertical lines about 1 mm interval during the video display.

    At the following problem troubleshooting steps:

    (1) monitor confirmed cable is properly attached to the monitor and CPU.

    (2) monitor reset to the default settings in the monitor menu.

    (3) installed the latest driver - HP 2159 m 2.0

    (4) installed the latest driver NVIDIA graphics - 285.62

    Described as "mobile dash", as vertical lines appear to be 1 pixel wide, several pixels long, black, separated by spaces of many pixels and move vertically (up/down) direction.  Lines are separated by 1 or 2 mm.  On rare occasions, the lines are horizontal rather than vertical.

    I see this effect during video playback.  Mobile dots are more pronounced with mid - grey tones.

    Rarely see a few stray clusters of white pixels on screen in any of the video areas.

    Would appreciate any suggestions to solve.

    Mrwrightrl,

    This problem has been successfully resolved by HP nearly 12 months ago.  There is nothing wrong with my monitor is.

    I listen a lot to streaming radio from across the country. If playing on the radio that the screen saver turns on, it sends the audio in a very distorted sound or if I get a tube video and bring it to audio full screen past at warp. • Wait for the rotation - problem with vertical centering

    What is the event to listen to determine the screen shot? I swore I saw someone talking before but search brings nothing relevant.

    I use x are coordinates for my layout and I have my coord y the value 10, which is excellent in landscape mode. When I turn to portrait, everything is centered vertically, which isn't what I want. I guess I need to listen to the rotation and change my details, but even when I start mode portrait and deply then the app, everything is still smack in the middle (vertically speaking) of the Simulator. I can't understand why this is.

    Hey miss breeder,.

    I was not completely successful with my orientation, but this is what I tried and got some sort of results. the only thing that is a problem, is that the fonts are appearing (possible incorporation question). but the listener is in the code and so here's the function:

  • Resize the video without quality loss

    I am facing a problem of video resizing, could someone help me solve this problem.

    I would like to video scale to the size of the content available (size of degree) without distorting the quality like VLC player.

    Here is my code.

    The FLA code:

    import flash.display.StageScaleMode;

    import flash.display.StageAlign;

    import flash.events.Event;

    ////////////////////////////

    var videoMC: MovieClip = new MovieClip ();

    this.addChild (videoMC);

    var videoMgr:VideoManager = VideoManager.getInstance ();

    videoMgr.init ("sampleFile.flv");

    videoMC.addChild (videoMgr);

    // #############

    This tells Flash NOT allow assets globally

    stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

    internship. Align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;

    need to create a listener to say object when the stage is resized.

    stage.addEventListener (Event.RESIZE, onStageResize);

    setBackground ();

    called when the stage is resized

    function onStageResize (evt: Event)

    {

    setBackground();

    }

    setBackground () function

    {

    determine the Middle

    var middleX = stage.stageWidth / 2;

    var middleY = stage.stageHeight / 2;

    Replace the bkgd in the Middle

    videoMC.x = 0;

    videoMC.y = 0;

    bottom of scale to fit the width and height

    videoMgr.updateVideoSize (stage.stageWidth, stage.stageHeight),

    see if it has grown like horizontally or vertically and adjust other

    to maintain the proportions

    videoMC.scaleX > videoMC.scaleY? videoMC.scaleY = videoMC.scaleX:videoMC.scaleX = videoMC.scaleY;

    }

  • Quit iMovie, change the size of the video

    Hello

    I'm preparing a review of Appstore App.

    I use the reflector 2 SW to save some example scenarios of the APP and captures the movements in a mp4 file. Then I use iMovie 10.1 to y to add a melody.

    The problem is: iMovie changes the video content with no intention of me either! Yes, it's true!

    The input mp4 file I use is: 1080 (w) x 1920 (h) and in portrait mode.

    The output of the iMovie file is: 1920 (w) x 1080 (h) and my video application is confined within a thickness of blackborders...

    How can I stop this from happening? I looked around for options for some time. There seems to be no cure, or is it?

    Thank you very much

    Tanner

    iMovie works in format 16 x 9. When you add a clip that is the portrait mode and select Insert in the toolbar of harvest that you get the black bars you see. What you can try is to select the crop tool and rotate the clip 90 degrees, then made. Share your video and open it in Quicktime. Here, you can turn it back to portrait and save it. Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Upgrade the video card on Satellite X 200-20 g

    Hello everyone

    I'll find a way to have my 8700M GT updated on my X 200 laptop.
    I paid for it more than 2000 and I paid for 2 years warranty.
    A few months later, I discovered that some of the new Toshiba are equipped with 9700 m GTS!

    I know that the X 200-20 G is having a mxm graphics card which is removable to be upgraded (not being is not part of the motherboard).

    I couldn't find anywhere in the Toshiba site, where I can ask to buy a new graphics card, or if I can send my laptop and ask for an upgrade price.
    I suppose someone who has paid a sum of money for Toshiba can be listened to, or get a special offer to swap its model to the newest one after even not a year of use.

    I really want to upgrade the video card, and I don't really know where to find advice or information about it, other than on the side of Toshiba.

    Thanks to everyone or admin, to let me know how I should do, or process.

    Kind regards
