  With regard to transfer photos goes, which is something you could get help in the forum of Photoshop Lightroom .  But you could wait here and see if anyone knows, or you could search Google and probably know how.

  I installed CS6 Design Standard (perpetual license) on my retina 15 inch Macbook Pro (OS X 10.8.2) today.

  • A run a few updates after installation, but no retina, set up-to-date for AI or PS among them.
  • After a quick google search, I read that I had to manually update the Application Manager. Doing just that.
  • Research update of the AI / AI PS. is now v. 16.0.3 and retina, PS is now v. 13.0.3 but NOT the retina.
  • Later, I downloaded the 13.0.3 patch, but this has not changed anything.
  • I uninstalled PS (+ preferences removed) with the Adobe uninstaller.
  • Reinstalled and ran al updates, Application Manager finds 13.0.3 mise put at new day, running the update and it is not yet retina.

  It blows my mind how many markets, google searches, updates, patches that it takes to update Arend & PS "correctly" and apparently it still does not for PS

  Any advice?

  Went through all these steps, but nothing worked. The only solution has been created a new own account on my computer and manually copy everything that I needed.

  The disc in particular is either corrupted or has failed.   If you don't have a backup, you find yourself working with a data recovery service, which will not come cheap, and they don't guarantee any results - to try to shoot everything that is left behind.   Reformatting the drive - if it has corrupted and not failed - could bring the disk itself to the utility, but that won't help with any data on the disk.

I am using a USB hub that is connected to the macbook pro (I have about 7 usb for music devices), but I was wondering if I could connect the USB keyboard and a mouse on the screen then somehow use just the mouse and the keyboard.
