  (a) to keep the computer as-is and upgrade to El Capitan via the App Store

  (b) factory restore the original OS and then move on to El Capitan via the App Store

  (c) charge El Capitan on an external drive and then install El Capitan to the laptop from the external drive

  (d) another method

  (I should have noted - there is not any number of files or applications on the computer that must be kept - just a few photos, music and documents that are already stored on an external drive)

  Default logic on your stereo Out as the default output of your tracks. The inputs of your tracks have nothing to do with it. If the third line above the control Out stereo says Pan, you can click on it and change it. I hope this helps.

  Should I upgrade to El Capitan or keep Snow Leopard?

  I heard that it would be possible to partition the drive and use the two Os x. My concern is that my macbook pro would be slower, it works perfectly fine at the time or perhaps the risk of overheating due to the upgrade?
  And of course, I could lose valuable software like Xpress, my Adobe CS5...

  (1) keep SL, but use El Capitan on the same drive or on an external boot disk.

  (2) others have, and it is possible.  I did not, but I'm a bit of a killjoy.

  (3A) Yes, it is possible.  I would advise, so you can keep your software that will be useful if - I don't you am not mocking, I understand very well keep working software.

  (3B), it may be a bit slower.  If you have less than 16 GB of RAM (you can run that much) the effect could be a little more pronounced.  If you only have 4 GB of RAM, you need to upgrade RAM first IMO.

  (3 c) don't worry overheating.  Fan CPU/controls is sophisticated enough to keep things working, as long as you do not block the main back-vent.

  Path, you can follow:

  (1A), you can partition using disk utility, but you should have a very good clone/backup before doing just in case a very rare event of bad things.  You also told us not how big your current drive is and how you have used.

  (1B), you could get an external 2.5 drive and I suggest that you get an external Universal connection kit for $15 fix any bare drive.

  (2) you can download the installer from El Capitan, but out of the automatic "starts to install.  Then copy the installation application to another location of re - later use these packs to remove critical package "in-house" at the end of installation.

  (3) If you have a second drive of clone of your current system (my preferred method), you can upgrade this clone, while keeping intact internal drive and startup just externally for iPhone operations.

  If El Capitan Mac (or the new operating system of Sierra) read below

  CS6 and previous programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan

  -which means you are trying to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

  -You can get CS6 and previous programs to install and run, or you can not (some do, some don't)

  Hello. I gave my MacBook Pro (2014 15 "retina, 7200LE GForce 750) a new installation of El Capitan 10.11. The hard drive has been wiped and I reinstalled OS x from scratch. I tried to use the first with the Open CL GPU acceleration, but all my pause the video snippets like this. It didn't happen with previous OS Yosemite. Changing software of mercury reading only solves the problem, but I would use the Open CL. Any thoughts on how this can be corrected? My MacPro with AMD cards does not exhibit this behavior.

  It is a problem with El Captiain: now turn off hardware MPE.

  FYI I have Flash CS6 v.12.0.2.529 installed on this computer, I removed the Flash Player in the folder.

  According to the instructions, I set the preferences of Adobe to allow Adobe install updates and closed Firefox (and closed all programs) to uninstall and install.

  It worked! I had done everything before that and had just abandoned. Thank you!

  With regard to transfer photos goes, which is something you could get help in the forum of Photoshop Lightroom .  But you could wait here and see if anyone knows, or you could search Google and probably know how.

• Option key always down on the new MacBook Pro (mid-2010)

  I have a new MacBook Pro 15 i7 "with 8 GB of RAM. Illustrator seems to think that the option button is still held down. Forms always come from the Center and dragging objects with the pointer always their copy. This problem occurs with AI CS4 and CS5 trial HAVE. I don't have this problem in Photoshop or other applications of CS that I tried (ID, Flash). I tried to throw the com.adobe.illustrator.plist and the Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings folder.

  The keyboard Viewer (Preferences system-> language & text-> Input Sources-> keyboard & Viewer characters-> input menu-> show viewer from keyboard) does not show that the option key is held down.

  I use an external USB (aluminum Apple keyboard) extended keyboard. It also happens with the built-in the laptop keyboard.

  Is that what someone else with this model having this problem?

  I see that your question can be model specific or related material as a problem with the option key is also present in other places. You could try uninstalling/reinstalling Illustrator, removing the custom of bad cache files, as well as the files preferably before you start, if you have a brand new Virgin facility. See if that helps. If not, you could try this first, create or logging in as another user, and see if the same thing is happening.

  Well, I feel like a dumb *. I have other programs (Lightroom and CS4)

  purchased at the same time are Windows and Mac compatible, so I thought

  Photoshop is too. I went MyAdobe and seen how my copy has been saved,

  WIndows version only and looked more carefully at the disk: Windows only.

  This explains the absence of the Mac OS X Installer file.

  Guess I have to buy Photoshop 6 for my Mac.

  Here is the video in question.  It was made in iMovie and transferred through the upload of desktop browser to the Youtube that can enter directly from the finder.  The video lasts 200 MB and 02:04 minutes.  Not particularly big.  Seen on my iPad Pro, which has the same size, basically like my MacBook Pro screen, it starts with playing 1080 p right away.  My MacBook Pro, connected to the same wifi router, then try it.  He can barely load and play the video to the P. 480 it also works very well with my iPhone 6plus and great works even streaming 1080 p when I connect the iPhone via a HTMI cable to my TV.

  I solved the problem myself.  I also deleted the video, sorry.  I decided to take an iMovie saved like a k 4 file in Quicktime and export it to 1080 p for iPad devices.  This has created an incredibly smooth and clear mp4 video without distortion due to compression.  In addition, the over 50 MB more file smaller than 180 file 200 MB created by iMovie.  When I downloaded this movie on Youtube, it took less time for the 1080 p option appears, and of course, it is clear.  More important still, it loads now well on my MacBook Pro of retina now, like the iPad Pro.  Lesson learned.  Save big by iMove, export to QuickTime.
