Loading a file to the user's computer

Hello

In my Flash application, I would like a user to be able to import a picture of their hard drive. Basically, the application allows the user to customize an object. One of the customization steps must be to add an image of their choice.

Is it possible to Flash to allow the user to choose a file from their hard drive, which is then read into memory and made available to an application? I would like to take the data and upload them to a server to store for future sessions.

Thank you!

the filereference class has an upload() method that allows users to upload a local file on your server (or you can load directly into your swf file that you want your fp 10).

  • Installation of generator file on the user's Machine EPMA

    Hello all-

I have a user who wants to be able to extract its metadata from EPMA HFM compatible applications at its discretion. My first thought was EPMA file generator, but it is not (and will not) have access to the servers in any capacity. Is it possible to install the generator of EPMA file on a user's computer? I'm also open to the extraction of metadata options she could do without EPMA file generator, but nothing comes immediately to mind.

Any help is appreciated, as always.

    Thank you
    Sarah

The EPMA file generator can be installed on a desktop user. The bad part is on the line 11.x, you must use the Setup program that requires a large number of files (Installer, Foundation 1 - n, EPMA) to install a small piece of software rather than a specific installer for the EPMA line Generator. Make sure that only the generator file is selected for installation and no other components.

Once it is installed, no configuration is required using the configuration tool - all parameters are entered when you run the file generator itself.

Hi!, I need to know if a loaded SWF file have the source code. I develop an application running on iOS and admin can upload SWF files that show in the APP, but I must know before show (mobile Adobe AIR APP) or activate (PHP script server), if this SWF file have the source code for no show or enable him not it.,.

Only that we need to do is:

    1. If the first tank is:

    F-the swf is uncompressed

    C - compressed with Deflate

    Z - compressed with LZMA

    2. If it is compressed, uncompress it with the right method

Hi, this could be something I did and maybe not. If I go to Documents and Settings all users, it has acquired a two different application data folders. And on top of the USER folder now has one in this document, 'MY Documents' and if I try to delete the file it deletes all: MY Document: files. I don't know what I did. And I have no idea on how to fix.
I usually keep all four records: administrator, user by default, all users and users of vacuum. With the exception of all users. I keep the rest blank. It is a single computer and I'm the only person who uses it. Also, the start Menu folder has a folder Administrator.

    Hello

    This remove the control file:

    XMLTYPE(in_file_1)

It is used only if the target table is an array of XMLType object.

For an XMLType column LOBFILE is sufficient, for example:

    LOAD DATA
    INFILE *
    APPEND INTO TABLE TH_XML
    (
     col_id_1 CHAR (100),
     in_file_1 LOBFILE(CONSTANT "c:\simple.xml") TERMINATED BY EOF
    )
    begindata
    MYID1

It tells SQL * Loader data consisting of one record with COL_ID_1 = "MYID1" and content = "c:\simple.xml" IN_FILE_1

    SQL> CREATE TABLE TH_XML
      2 (
      3 COL_ID_1 VARCHAR2(100 BYTE),
      4 IN_FILE_1 XMLTYPE
      5  );

    Table created.

    Server version: 11.1.2.1 64bits
    Client computers: 32-bit

I mostly used the EAS Web launcher to open the console of Regional service on the computers of the users. To a specific customer, I'm unable to open Web launcher. It gives an error of the jre is not available. So a few questions I've had are:

    1. the user must his machine administrator rights in order to launch Admin console on the Internet as 'jre' should be installed?
    2. If I need to install the Console manually on each users computer, do I need to separately download the 32-bit files? 'Ll need me all the Foundation (part 1-7) to install just Admin Console?

    Appreciate any assistance. Thank you

    See you soon,.
    Abhishek

Yes its too early... my company won't let me sleep, but no. complains ;=)

You don't install Java on the client on the server.

Have you checked the error on the command line? I guess that is displayed.

  • VIX file in the user interface designer receives the data from the Web service application that communicates with the SQL server database

I created the Web service VI ("Mt-insolacije.vi"), which has two terminals of the input string (FROM / TO) for the dates of arrival and exit of two data terminals (table 1 d) from database (MS SQL server). This VI communicates with the database with functions of the database with a DSN and SQL query appropriate palette. There are two tables with two data (time and Insolation) columns in the database.

This VI works when you run in Labview 2010, but when I used it as VI in UI Builder it returns no data.

Could you please help me find a solution. Is it possible to communicate with the SQL server database in this way or there is another way?

There are two files attachmet: Image of .vix file in Interface builder and .vi file ("Mt-insolacije.vi")

    Please help me ASAP!

    Thank you

    Ivan

I found the solution problem is in the DSN. I've been using the user instead of DSN system DSN.

It's important to create the system DSN if you want your VI of web service to communicate with the database.

PS Please put feature bundle format timestamp and XY graph in the web user interface designer. It's complicated to trace data with datetime on X axis without them.

  • Strange files in the users profile

Recently I discovered a few records of stramge and I'm not sure of their source.

They find themselves in the users > Appdata > local and LocalLow folders

    The files are named:

    EmieBrowserModeList

    EmieSiteList

    EmieUserList

    These files are all empty.

Don't know what application they are associated or how to determine that.  I don't have these on any other PC, however, I have not the same applications on all, either. This is why I want to know the Association.

There are entries in the registry.  I searched the registry and delete entries, as well as all the directories. They all returned. They seem to be classified as system files.

    Using Win7 64 bit

As I said, I do not understand how to find the application that are associated with these records.

In addition to running MS Security Essentials, precaution, I ran the package of Kaspesky TDSSkiller. Records remain.

If someone saw, I would be grateful for your help.

    Hello

Are you using the Chrome browser? These files are for Chrome. Should be ok

    Kind regards.

  • Save the file on the user's desktop

Hi all, just a simple question (I hope!)

I am writing a program and I want to save the file .txt output to the office. Of couse, different computers will have on their desktop to different directory paths (for example C:/Documents and Settings/Bob/Desktop - the user name will be different in all cases).

Is there a specific command that you can use to specify what system you are looking for the office, regardless of the rest of the path of the directory? If it makes no sense at all.

    Thank you!

Yes.Use get the system directory in a file i/o under file constants.
