Loading data with the size of the attribute.

I have a currency attribute dimension asociated to dimension of entities and I would download data using the dimension of the associated attribute. I have a file with a column with the name of the entity and also a column with the name of the attribute. Could someone tell me how to set the column attribute of the rule of load?

Published by: user5170363 on March 22, 2012 12:55

I guess that, dimensions of attribute are not County while you load data... Data file always have the standard dimension members...

Thus, you can filter your features according to your attribute or load only on these entities...

  • Foreign key constraint, not recognized during the synchronization of data with the model dictionary

    Hello

    Data Modeler is a foreign key constraints do not recognize when synchronizing data with the model dictionary, although the foreign key is there (in the database that a data dictionary is read). I can't find any criterion when a foreign key is not recognized by the Data Modeler. Are there limits to the length of the attribute, or the number of columns in a foreign key, or other limitations which may lead to this behavior not to recognize a fk by Data Modeler? I have columns more than 32 characters. I compared with the fk is recognized by DM, but I can't find anything that indicates why it is not recognized.

    I wonder if someone also has constraints of foreign keys that are not recognized in the comparison of data bases and model?

  • The OID of the Migration of OUD, hitting the problem with the attribute pwdhistory OUD

    The OID of the Migration of OUD, hitting the problem with the attribute pwdhistory OUD

    I use sync DIP at the end of migration of data from OID for target OUD. Everything seems great so far, I have found that pwdhistory being migrated is not being validated by OUD password policy

    I do import ldif for OUD and find this pwdhistory field is populated with the same OID value. When I reset password in OUD-DOHAD with the word in the history of password,.

    Expected Behavior: Error Message from the OUD "" LDAP: error code 20 - already the value of specified password exists in the user input " "

    Course Behavior: OUD is what allows to reset the password in the password history

    Also found that when I try again with the same password, then it throws the error 20 code. OUD replaces the old values in pwdhistory after the password resets and written new values with stamp of password.

    It is a Blocker for us for migration in the history of password, I would like to join the forum and check if someone had the same problem and how they managed it?

    Thank you

    Satya

    Support of Oracle confirmed that DIO history for the OUD password migration is not supported. The OID and OUD records and validates the pwdhistory differently

  • How to load data into the App MVDEMO schema example

    Hi all

    I'm a POC on Oracle Mapviewer and try to build some reports in OBIEE using MApviewer.

    This POC, I use Oracle MVDEMO example Data (11g). I think that these sample data covers few countries like the USA.

    I need to make PDS for the Brazil, I downloaded data from the map of the site as Shapefiles Brazil

    http://GADM.org/country

    in these data of the Brazil, I got from .csv files 4 extensions, .dbf, .shp and SHX

    I need to know how can I load these files into my Oracle 11 g DB? Should I load data into the same pattern of mvdemo, if yes then which table?

    Any help will be appreciated a lot.

    Thank you

    Amit

    Use the Java shapefile Converter utility (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/options/spatialandgraph/downloads/index-093371.html)

    GDAL (gdal.org) FME (Safe) or or MapBuilder.

    Specify the to SRID (i.e. the SRID for loading in Oracle geoms) 4326 or 8307.

    Load into a new table named anything you want. for example brazil_gadm with the geometry named GEOMETRY column

    Once it's loaded, verify that there is an entry for the table and column (BRAZIL_GADM, GEOMETRY) in user_sdo_geom_metadata

    Create a space on brazil_gadm.geometry index if the tool has not created a.

    Add the definitions of topic for the country, State or whatever the admin areas exist in the dataset.

    Import them as layers in OBIEE.

  • ODI can load data into the planning and REPLACE the existing data?

    Hello
    ODI (9.3.1.1) can load data into the planning and REPLACE the existing data?
    Currently of our ODI by "ADD" load to existing data data - so that is I accidentally run the load twice, it would be double planning numbers. I don't know how to do it to REPLACE so that running more than twice has no effect.

    With the help of the essbase adapter you would use a rule of load, in the State of charge, you can set whether to replace or add to existing values. It is not difficult to pass.

    Hi Jasonbichard,

    1. what type of drive is D? Is - this another partition on the same disk?

    2 Windows operating system you are using?

    You can change the location of the disk to save the data in the d: instead of C: and check if it helps.

    a. navigate to the location (username) C:\Users\.
    b. right click on the folder that you want to change the location, and then select Properties.
    c. click on the location tab and change the location to D: drive.

    d. click on apply and Ok.

  • Dynamic action for validation of date with the notification message plugin

    Hi all

    Someone help me please with dynamic action for validation of date with the message notification plugin. I have a form with two elements of the date picker control and message notification plugin.

    The requirement first user selects the exam is finished and then selects the date. So, if the date is greater than the date of the examination is over + 2 years then doesn't trigger the message notification plugin. I tried to create that dynamic action on the date picker date that triggers the scheduled issue notification message but I want to make conditional, I mean displays the message only if date of the selected is greater than the date of the exam is finished more than 2 years.

    In terms simple, notification is displayed only if provided is superior to (date of the exam is completed + 2 years).

    I use oracle apex 4.0 version and oracle 10g r2 database. I tried to reproduce the same requirement in my personal workspace. Here are the details. Please take a look.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Orton.

    You can get the value of the date of entry:

    $(ele) .datePicker ('getDate');

    So what to add functions such as:

    function validateNotification (d1, d2) {}

    Date1 var = $(d1) .datepicker ('getDate');

    date2 var = $(d2) .datepicker ('getDate');

    if(date1 && date2) {}

    return ((date2.getTime()-date1.getTime())/(1000*24*60*60))>(365*2);

    } else {}

    Returns false;

    }

    }

    The logic based on setting (I have two years from years of 365 days preceding)

    Then in the D.A. specify a JavaScript expression as:

    validateNotification ('P2_REVIEW_COMPLETED', this.triggeringElement.id)

    Refer to page 2 for example.

  • Member not found when loading data with SQL

    Hello everyone:

    I created a cube map extract all information with SQL statements and it works perfectly. Now I'm trying to load data in the same way, but I can't.

    I created a view that returns data in this format:

    Dimension 1 < tab > axis 2 < tab > member... Member of dimension 5 < tab > measure 1 < tab > 2 < tab > measure 3

    I designed a new rule, indicating for each column in the dimension; and for each measure which specific member of dimension of accounts must be used. I have check and everything is ok, but when I try to load data, it does not work and tells me error:

    + "Data value [3.5] met before that all the selected Dimensions, [1] Records duly filled.
    + Essbase error unexpected 1003007 "+"

    If I get the names of the members with quotes (because they contain spaces, and it is perhaps the reason for the previous error, although the rule analysis correctly) with the SQL statement, when Essbase import, it deletes these quotes. I must use another symbol, and as a rule change this another symbol quotes. Is this normal? I know that this issue when importing formulas, but not here.

    Why in 'Dimension building' I don't have this problem with quotes?

    And when changing the symbols of quotes, this error occurs:

    + "Member x not found in the database" +. " But I check the Member and there are in general terms. What's wrong with that? »

    Thanks in advance

    Yes, the SQL files and data (of all kinds) are supported by more than one column of data. As you noted, you just point to the Member that represents the column.

    That said, I bet that if you look at your view/table and load the rule against your outline, I bet you find a dimension be mismapped, for example, you think that this column 4 points to the scenario, but you really repointe it produces and which purported to be the column 1, or you missed a dimension. Happens to me all the time.

  • Problem with loading data into the cube with members twice in different dimensions

    Have a cube with members dublicate allowed only in two dims (period1 and periode2).

    Saves the contours without error, but when I try to load data, I got some errors:

    "Member 2012-12 is a member in doubles in the sketch.

    A6179398-68BD-7843-E0C2-B5EE81808D0B 01011 cd00 st01 2905110000 EK fo0000 2012 NNNN-NN-NN-12 cust00000$ $$ 1 "

    The dims are two similar periods. I'm changing the names of members and the alias a little in one of them (f.e. yyyy1-mm-> yyyy1 - mm1)?

    Users wouldn't like it...

    Period.1

    yyyy1/q1

    yyyy1-mm1

    yyyy1-mm2

    yyyy1-mm3

    Yes your records of entry must have member of full names

  • How to create a store of data with the small block size

    Hello

    I want to create a data store on two 160 GB drives. All the VI Client allows me to do is to create a data store of whole disc with 1 MB block. But for reasons of performance with the virtualized Oracle RAC, which is 8K organized, I want to go down to a smaller block size. But how?

    Is it possible to split my drive to (lets say) four parts, each with a smaller block size and putting them all together like extends in a data store? To create partitions with fdisk does not work, as the VI Client wants to use the unpartitioned disk. Any ideas?

    Robert

    Hello

    It is not possible. The smallest block size is 1 MB on a VMFS partition.

    Best regards
