Loading of jpeg files

Hello

I created a program that loads a different image according to a string generated by three options selectable by the user.  Him must select two numbers between 0 and 12 and a version of the display. First of all, I just put three display options in a combobox and working program control. Then I put two other options in the 'view' combobox version and other variants do not want to download my photos. I don't understand the problem. In the case of the loaded image are some cases I treat, just to test the functionality of the program. If anyone can help me with an idea.
I don't know why it won't work in both cases, added later in the combobox.

You can go there.

    Yes.

  • JPEG files in first getting mixed up in a project

JPEG files in my project are merge.  It's like the first cannot mean that loading the files apart. In other words, I load multiple JPEG files to the project, each with a different file name, put on the timeline, and, later, when I click on the name of the file in the project Panel, several different files display the same image of one of the images JPEG in the poster frame, the Source image and in the sequence of project.   The file remain of names listed in the Panel project continues to display the correct file name, but several selected even when picture show.

I assumed that something happened when the files have been imported and are now combined in the project.  To try to solve this problem, I erased all the bad files out the timeline and the output of the project Panel.  Changed the names of source files in Windows Explorer (i.e., added an 'a' in the name of the file) and re-imported files in first.  It seems to work, but a few moments later, some of the same files, as well as some new files imported, all turned to the same image again.  I repeated again the process of compensation for the wrong files, changed the names of source file once more in Windows Explorer, changed the name of the folder in Explorer and re-imported the files to the first again.  Once again, after some time, several of the files everything had changed to the same image on the timeline, the Source image and the poster frame.

It's as if the program has somehow confused these files and what caused the mixture to the top, rest persist even with files that have been renamed.

This occurs in about 20 JPEGs out perhaps 70 JPEG images in the project.  It only happened on previous projects.

I can't tell if my first (5.0.3) was corrupted somehow, or if this error is limited to this project.  Is there a way I can transfer my work in a new project (I really want to have to start completely).

    I'm quite desperate.  Thank you!

See this thread for a workaround:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3684577#3684577

This bug has been fixed in first Pro CS5.5.

  • Some JPEG files seem to download very well, but are rendered incompletely.

Some JPEG files seem to be well uploaded by Firefox, but they do not completely. A progressive JPEG will remain very rough and no progressive JPEG will be missing the lower part. Of all the things I tried, I think maybe it's a bug of rendering in Firefox. More precisely:

    • The images are downloaded properly. The page loading stalls not but join immediately. If I click with the right button on the image and click "View image", he appears completely. If I open the media dialogue information Page tab and look at the picture, it appears quite as well. More curiously, if I use the eyedropper color tool and hover where the rest of the image * should * be, it displays the actual image pixels in the raster and also returns the value of the color of the image in pixels, while the main browser window always makes these regions as being transparent. I added a snapshot of the species to this post. Therefore, the problem also doesn't seem to be a problem of CSS/layout of the page (the Page Inspector shows the img block correctly).
    • Clears all data cache and cookies, then by restarting Firefox in safe mode does not make a difference. I even installed a vanilla Firefox to a new virtual machine and had the same problem when opening these pages. Other browsers (tested: Opera, Chrome, IE) do not show the same problem.
    • Reload with forced renewal cache (Ctrl + Shift + R) most often does not change the rendering of the image, but will rarely showing either more or less incomplete than before.
    • I can see the issue going on with two images on two separate pages. I re-encoded them using different software and different settings, but the problem persists, then it doesn't seem to be a problem of corrupted images.
    • I created an example of a toy to try to reproduce the problem: a same page with a different image, created specifically to try to trigger the problem. What I've found, is that the issue is triggered when the JPEG file above a certain minimum size (somewhere between 15 and 40 KB). What seems to be the rendering of the image in the main window stops after the reading of the image up to a certain length. Once again, the image seems well to be loaded into the cache and memory completely as evidenced by the display when you use the view image, or information Page.

I made three versions of the test page to try to reproduce the problem. Image of the first page is 11KO and always seems to go completely. Images of the second and third page are respectively 102 kB and 107 KB in size and will be usually incompletely. The image on page 2 use the progressive encoding, so the image will end up blurred. The image on page 3 use straight coding, so the image will eventually be rendered with the bottom part missing.

So far, I'm not sure why only, I encountered this problem on a specific Web site pages. Something must be the trigger, but it doesn't seem to be a problem with the server, the page or images.

Update: I introduced the site at Browsershots, asking for Firefox 35.0 renderings and a previous version for each of the Windows, Linux and Mac. Unfortunately, the renditions for Mac failed. As for the others, none of the versions pre-35, 0 present the display problem, and it is not present in Firefox on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 35.0, but appears on Firefox on Windows 2008 R2 35.0.
Here is the URL of the test pages where you want to check yourself: (darkened circles be transparent)

    http://www.abgase.org/firefox_debug.html (11kB, no problem)
    http://www.abgase.org/firefox_debug2.html (Progressive 102KO)
    http://www.abgase.org/firefox_debug3.html (no progressive 107KO)

(Do Ctrl + Shift + R repeatedly if the question does not seem to show, to be sure. If by any chance I can get it to render properly, it will fail again after that 2-3 charging at the most.

I did have a lot of time lately to make studying more. However, since the upgrade to Firefox 36 a few days ago, I can reproduce is no longer the question. This was confirmed during the audit on all my other Windows systems running Firefox: image rendering is usually interrupted when loading pages on Firefox 35.x, but still fine finishes after upgrade to Firefox 36.x.

This problem can be considered resolved, that the bug seems to have been given to v35 only.

I couldn't find anything relevant in the changelog of 36 of Firefox, but also found two Bugzilla reports that could have described the same problem, both claim that the problem goes away when you use v34 and/or v36:

#1125789: image full size is only partially displayed
#1126707: Firefox 35, MAC and PC image rendering problems

  • Refusal to open JPEG files, inability to use 'Paint'... all due to a catastrophic hard drive failure!

I am semi-retired and depend on my XP system during a large part of my income.    Yesterday, my hard drive "took a dive", and I upgraded my computer with a second hard disk, burner CD, etc., etc.   However, somewhere along the way I lost the ability, integrated with this when I bought it in 2001, to open and edit the JPEG and other picture files.  PAINTING has been my main editing tool for photos on which I rely.   My opening software allowed me to crop, change the contrast, color saturation, etc. etc.  I don't had fooled it with all this in so long, that I can't even remember the name of the program!   My technician downloaded XP service Pack 3.   And I'm pretty sure it's something simple.   But while I have become adroit enough with my computer and was able to reinstall my scanner, printer, etc., etc., I never did quite this kind of reconfigure.   I know that I had ANY software program that came with the computer or the attendant to the scanner and printer, etc, etc.     He had twelve hours now and I have pictures that I need to get online as soon as POSSIBLE.

    In short: help!  Help, please!

My old hard drive could not be recovered.  No files have been saved.  No program.  No files have been transferred, but I

generate new photos every day!  And I cannot now meaningfully change them.  I need to crop, lighten, Darken,

change the color balance, etc. etc and IMPOSSIBLE.

When I click on my JPEG files (and probably all OTHER files!)  I don't get any guest of 'open '.   I can not even FIND paint, I used every day.  I got XP Professional Service Pack 3, apparently.   Yes, I think that every single Windows Update has been loaded and installed.   As far as I know, or paint, or Photoshop (I think that's what has been!) is on my computer or activated.

  • PhotoDraw in Windows7 - cannot open or save jpeg files

I have managed to load Photodraw V2 on my new Windows7 machine, but cannot get the program to open or save jpeg files. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired and added features (graphicthrough the control panel............... but no luck.) Any body can help?

I've seen the same problem, but it is not related to Windows 7, I had also in Vista.  I followed up to the size of the file.  I can open small JPG images, but I started to have the question when I got a new camera.  Nothing does no more than 8 million pixels open in Photodraw.  I had to open the photo in another program, reduce the image, then it opens.  But that downgrade the photo.  For more pictures, I just had to use another program and not my beloved Photodraw.  I really wish that Microsoft had continued to work on this product because it was great!

  • XMP file for JPEG files are ignored?

I just exported all my original files from Aperture so I can use them in Lightroom. While exporting the files to open, I also did the XMP sidecar files.

Now, I have imported all in Lightroom and to my surprise, no JPEG files has a note on it. I know not all metadata can be handled by Lightroom esspecialy adjustments through the opening, but I would have liked an arbitrary value as a side of support files. After that some research, I discovered that one of my RAW (canon CR2 file) files had a side, so it's very strange.

So now for my question, can I force Lightroom to watch the XMP files for JPEG images? Or y at - there a plugin for that? It would be a great addition to Lightroom aswel if this could be just an option selectable by the user.

Thanks in advance for your time!

Depends on what you mean my "loading". Lightroom has a command file > Plugin Extras > Import to library opening which is the best way to do the job.

Alternatively, the Aperture metadata > IPTC write to Original will save keywords etc back to the files. The opening file > originals to move can then put all managed files (ie the pictures in the Aperture library) records standard Finder and you can then import into Lightroom from them. I have a lot more information here.

Your thread earlier today deals with the question of the layers, the JPEG file format is not supported. If you want to save the file with layers, save as PSD. To load the referenced site, save the file in JPEG format as well. After you have downloaded, remove the JPEG file if you are short of space.

Go to Image > mode and make sure the RGB color is checked. When you go to file > save as, in JPEG, the ICC profile is sRGB IE C61966 - 2.1 (on my current test file).

  • Could not load the .zip file in the media internal binary

    Hi all

We are facing a problem in the application migrated to atg10.2 where Bcc we are not able to download the .zip in media-internal-binary file extensions.

I went through the documentation that says it can be used for the .gif, .jpeg extensions, but we were able to use this feature in 9.2.

So is it possible to customize it and allow zip files in the media internal binary?

    Thank you

OK so got the mapping for this view and now able to load the zip file.

The mapping of the view is AmPValImageExtensions. You must add the extension .zip inside with .gif, .jpeg.

  • saving a raw to JPEG file

When I save a file as a jpeg of high quality raw, I lose a lot of information, and the image becomes much smaller when reopened. How to prevent this?

The actual size of the file in megabytes cannot be a criterion for the quality of the image. JPEG compression works differently on each image according to the content of the image. Some images compress much more than others. When you say that the JPEG is smaller, could you share the actual pixels of the raw and JPEG images dimensions. What do you use to create your JPEGs?

Just another comment. It seems to me that it would be extremely difficult to create a 50 MB JPEG image. It would be absolutely huge in size. I assumed that the site you are using allows loading of formats other than JPEG files if they allow files that large.

  • How can I force lightroom to (re) load a XMP file?

    Hello from Boston!

I am new to Lightroom and just finished my Aperture library import in Lightroom 5 on Mac. For this, I followed the instructions on the landing page and Lightroom from Adobe solutions. For those who do not know the instructions, you essentially export all your originals with an XMP file, then export all the adjusted/edited files as 16 bit TIFF. Then add them all back in Lightroom and all go in the catalogues, labels, ratings and such by using keywords that have been added in the opening. It took forever, but worked pretty well overall. I've had about < 1% less the LR5 images in Aperture, who were probably suspected duplicates. So far so good.

Is here, that's my problem. My keywords don't always transfer above (the Keywording Panel is empty). I did search for forums and plug-ins, but seem to only find questions related to EXIF and GPS data. I also used "Metadata of a file Metadata:Read" and "Metadata:Update DNG Preview and metadata," which did nothing. I'm suspecting that 'Reading a file' means 'read the file of the image itself but not the file.' Take the IMG_5888 file for example. It was taken in RAW format (.) CR2) + JPEG on a Canon Rebel XS, but I have the same issue with RAW only on my Canon EOS 6 d. It goes the same for JPG + XMP. Strange thing is that some other loaded files just fine.

In the directory/folder where the file is located, it looks like this:

    ...

    IMG_5887.CR2

    IMG_5887.JPG

    IMG_5887.XMP

    IMG_5887.DNG

    IMG_5888 - 2.JPG

    IMG_5888.CR2

    IMG_5888.JPG

    IMG_5888.XMP

    IMG_5888.DNG

    IMG_5889 - 2.JPG

    IMG_5889.CR2

    IMG_5889.JPG

    IMG_5889.XMP

    IMG_5889.DNG

    ...

The .dng were generated by Llightroom. Now, the sidecar files usually have something like this in it (I cut some keywords for clarity - you get the idea):

    ...

    < RDF rdf: about = 'xmlns:photoshop =' http://ns.Adobe.com/Photoshop/1.0/ '>

    < / RDF: Description >

    Waves of < rdf:li > < / rdf:li >

    < / RDF: bag > < / Subproperty >

    < / RDF: Description >

    ...

Thus, the key words have been exported aperture, but for some reason, Lightroom is not always loading XMP file.

On a related note, the hierarchy of keywords that has been exported as a text file of Aperture and imported to the LR5 worked well. Everything seems to be there, and in its place.

Ideas for a recruit in Lightroom as to how I can get LR5 to read these XMPs? More 20 000 has no tag, so I prefer not to do this by hand!

    Many thanks in advance,

    Paul

    > I suspect that 'Reading a file' means 'read the file of the image itself but not the file.

Almost. This means read the image file for all types of files except for the files gross owners and read from the file of sidecar only for raw files.

    > ' Metadata:Update DNG preview & metadata»

That means record metadata in LR in DNG files, overwriting what is there.

Maybe try to create a test catalog, copy this folder and deleting the JPEG files. Then import them into the test catalog. My theory is that LR is preferring the metadata in IMG_5888.JPG, and that there is no metadata. Remove JPEG files would force LR to read of the CR2.

I want my Flash piece to load JPEG files when running. I thought that Flash MX 2004 had this feature, but the search for "load image" or "load JPEG" resulted in nothing. Is this possible? If so, what is the command?

  • Tracing of JPEG files

    Hi all

For my project, I enclose fles jpeg using loadMovie and loadClip methods. If I am attaching a jpeg file in a clip (and attributes width and height of the movie like 300 x 300 clip), I can see the full image (However the width and height of the image exceeds 300 x 300). But, if I trace the width and height, it shows 300 x 300 (that is the width and height of the mc).

I want to know the width and height of the jpeg file and not the clip. How can I find them? Any idea?

    ActionScript 2/Flash 8:

Using MovieClipLoader to load (i.e. the "loadClip" method you mention above).

Assign a listener with an onLoadInit handler object.
This gives you access to properties after "load" occurred and the new _width and _height (and other properties) have been updated for the loaded clip. Its also where you can change these and have the clip resized to size, etc..
