  I get the following error message when you try to validate a map. The error is:
  
  VLD-2794: TRUNCATE/INSERT loading type not suitable for remote data target + 'tableName ' +.
  Cannot execute truncate on a target of remote data. Change the type of loading for this target in INSERT or DELETE/INSERT.
  
  The mapping is trying to extract data from a table source (Oracle 9.2) in a target (Oracle 10 g 2) table using a dblink. The target table, loading Type is set to "Truncate/Insert.
  
  Any ideas?

  You can't run a command TRUNCATED through a link DB or any other DDL (CREATE, ALTER, DROP) statement.

  You target table is available on DBlink and you can issue only DML (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, MERGE).

  To truncate your target table, you must create the procedure as I said in previous post.

  In this case you mast say No_Constraints, if you use primary key/all owb constraints will automatically set the column properties

  When you manually set properties tell me not constraints or constraints is not serious

  I had trouble with "Vodafone Mobile Connect Lite" (Vodafone mobile broadband software) since I recently had to put windows xp on my computer. I have updated windows and have service pack 3 installed.
  I tried to remove the program and reinstalled it, but it always happens with the two errors below. I copied

  Program error!

  The software / program then don't load properly on the computer and I can't connect to the broadband mobile thru «Vodafone Mobile Connect Lite»
  The same thing happens if I try to use the program ' sms.

  Addition to the information that Joel provided, I have included a newer version of the software.

  If I read the papers on the right, you run Vodafone version 2.0 and there is a new version available.

  I just started to use the feature to annotate previews for annotate PDFs on a MacBook Pro, after you use the GoodReader app on an iPad.

  In GR, there is a way to expunge erroneous text and insert the correct text in a single action that perfectly binds the struck-out text.

  by example, if the text read "mAcbook", you could use GR to delete the word and leave a note to insert "MacBook", in a single action.

  Is there a way to do this in the preview? I found the action for strike through text, but not a way to "strike-out-and-insert-correct-version-in-same-place".

  What you can do is in the menu Tools-annotate.

  As far as I know, there are no simultaneous action you describe for Goodreader.

  When you use sql loader you will use a direct path load i.e. you will be set up above the high tide and you will be bypassing undo on the table and it will insert in the index more efficiently.

  When you use insert / * + append * / select then you will be clooning the sqlloader but only if you do not have integrity constraint or insert triggers into your table.

  SQL Loder will be the direct loading path even if you have triggers and referential intergrity

  You see while sql loader seems to be more effective and not in function of the referential integrity or triggers to use a direct path load
