  10 iOS, iPhone 6 +, Windows 10. Photos and videos are shared through iCloud, but NOT stored in iCloud.

  Once synced on my PC, the photos and videos have a truncated name (for example, "016a1f2e11dfcc680e1009cb96346b67678fb2c6bc.jpg"). Of course, this is not acceptable at all to me when I organize them on my NAS: I prefer a significant, sortable name, as "2016-09-16 18-15-20259 (Apple iPhone 6 more) .jpg.

  To do this, I simply read the EXIF information directly from the image, and I rename the image accordingly. No problem for the photos.

  But for videos... I do the same, in the world, but with less information. I can extract only creation date/time from metadata of the videos, not the unit that captured video. Sad, but I have not found anything else, and at least it's automatic.

  Recently, I found that the date in the video file is NOT correct: this is the timecode of SHARING via iCloud, not the timecode CAPTURE. I have therefore some videos with a delta of two weeks between the true creation as well as the "official" date

  I checked this on my phone: date is correct (once the video is no longer in full screen, the date is displayed at the top of the screen, and it is 'the' date I'm looking).

  So, question: How can I get the date of the 'real' creation of all these videos on my PC? It exists: it appears on the iPhone that took the video (a woman) AND mine. Information is 'lost' only on the PC, but I think it's a problem of reading of 'bad' metadata (I use FFMPEG to get currently), or the wrong file for reading (perhaps within an iTunes/database file, but didn't find, not found in the registry or the other).

  Best solution is to find something operate locally, through the command line, to do it in batch mode. A solution of GUI PEUT agree if I can automate with AutoIt (i.e. should not be a native Win32 application, not Java, .NET, GTK, QT and so on, OR must have an export feature). A solution based on the web is not suitable, but can be less boring to review each video one after another to manually check the date.

  Yes, it seems fair to extract still images from the camera will keep the GPS coordinates. This assumes, of course, Traore, the GPS is locked on the satellite. It may take a few seconds to several minutes to reach the lock, so the first photos that you take may not be labeled. I assume that you run an interval picture-taking.

  I and others have posted here and in other forums that the GPS coordinates are not very accurate. They may, or may not, be specific to a single shot, but you can't rely on the accuracy of the coordinates. This also applies to the video shot with the AS-100v and AS - 30V.   You must reset the default BIOS and change the BIOS utility setup time. In most cases, it will solve this problem.

• Handful of sequence data contains incorrect values when loading the saved project

  I ran into a problem where my values of sequence data are not correct when you open a project with an instance of my effect plugin.

  The values look good if I manually inspect when they are flattened and written in a fine when handle memory and restore AE sends PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_RESETUP once the backup is complete.  But when I open / load the saved project, the values are not correct.  In other words, my logic flattening/unflattening works within the same session, but during the loading of a saved project, the flattened data is incomplete or has bad values.

  I write several objects to the handful of flat sequence data, and I was wondering if this could be the cause.

  The flattened sequence data manage memory looks like this:

  NB of struct type B varies, so when I ask AE for a handle of memory, I have this:

  When I access the handful of sequence data loading stage, the first struct in the flattened handle has correct values, but all following structs have false values.  I check if the handle is always the right size (I save the size of the handle inside the first structure) and it is indeed the correct size.  I wonder if AE doesn't like how I write from the structB to the handle.

  I'm doing something wrong here?  Is there a better way to store data of arbitrary sizes?

  Ah, I missed actually a significant error in your pointer arithmetic! You're actually in the land of UB ("undefined behavior") with your code!

  You add byte offsets to a pointer type, which is doomed to failure if you don't know what you're doing.

  If you have

  structTypeB * structB_P = reinterpret_cast(flat_seq_dataP);

  and do you

  structB_P += sizeof (structTypeA);

  most of compiler that turn into something like this:

  structB_P = (structTypeB *) ((unsigned char*) + sizeof (structTypeA) * sizeof (structTypeB));

  Wrong in your case (in most cases actually).

  Or more simple put:

  If you have a pointer

  structTypeB * structB_P =...

  and you do:

  structB_P += 3;

  It actually means

  structB_P = strucB_P + 3 * sizeof (structTypeB);

  already!

  Try running your pointer to an unsigned char * or another type of 1 byte basis and then make the increment, and then recast.

  I get the same answer.  I can get the date and to a key word to work with 'all' selected, but not date and keywords.  So you will need two smart albums: one with date and ECA ('all' selected) and the other with date and flowers ('all' selected).

  Use the file menu option ➙ new Smart Album.

  If you wish to make a slideshow with all the transitions better fantasies use something like Pro Show gold.

  Alt drag window project replaces clip/still on the timeline.

  Simply drag your images on a video track higher, and if they are of the same frame as the project size, they will replace the underlying video visually.

  Before you import the pictures, you can go to the Edit > Preferences and set the duration of the images fixed or you can always click on + drag on the tail of the alembic, to change the duration, according to your needs.

  Where you see the date? You are looking in the display of the album? If so, this view displays the album cover and the date is the most recent "creation date of the file" of all the files in that album. If it displays date unknown, it can be a photo/video from the web, or something that has had its metadata stripped for a reason any. If you add a new photo/video it, then that date appears with the album cover.
