  I create a table and partition on SALE_DATE.

  I create an Index on it and set it as 'LOCAL '.  It becomes Equi-partitioned as a partitioned local Index.  Each Table of Partition is a Partition of the corresponding Index.

  I create another index and partition on CUSTOMER_ID.  It is partitioned on a different key of the table.  This is a partitioned Index.

  I create another index on PRODUCT_ID without no partitioning.  It is an overall index.

• Get local and global variables using API

  Hi, I do in LV a Publisher for TS. The user should be able to change the value of global variables and the inhabitants of file. Using the TS API, it is possible to get all files of Globals and locals without knowing the name of these variables have ts? I mean, if I knew the name I could use the value of property Get with the search string. But if the I do not know the name of the variable, can I get the list (and their values) of the variable?

  In summary:

  Use the GetNumSubProperties method to get the total number of inhabitants / FileGlobals.

  Use GetNthSubProperty to get sub properties using the index starting with 0 to GetNumSubProperties-1

  Use the Name property to get the name of the subproperty.

  Oracle Database 10 g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit

  I have a partitioned table, when developing the application, they have committed an index ON this table. Previously, whenever we use to run 'Alter Table add partition..' global index becomes unusable and I used to rebuild the same. But in recent months, each time we add partition (Alter Table... ADD Partition..) on this table, index will get unusable to stat instead it shows that indexes THE data dictionaries (Lacality = Local in USER_PART_INDEXES). Partitioned indexes are also automatically created with each table partition creation.

  But the query below shows the output indexes are GLOBAL.

  Select double dbms_metadata.get_ddl('INDEX','ABCD','USER_A');

  Can someone me help on what actually happened here.

  But the example above has the keyword LOCAL?

  When I execute the proc_1 then he throws me error of data type incosistent while to fetch the v_c_ref_cursor of cursor in the v_tt_table variable.
  ORA-00932: inconsistent data types: expected - was -.
  But I have checked that the output of the query is similar with the type of variable.
  
  Now, a few facts: the tt_table of the user-defined table type is made from ot_table (create or replace tt_table to ot_table Board).
  The parent type i.e. ot_table has the same columns of this query in v_sql my proc.
  The ot_table and the tt_table are global types.
  
  But when I did these two types as local types, then the proc works very well. But I need them as global types only according to the condition in java.
  
  Please help me. The database is 11 GR 2.

  Ah... Easy to solve.

  The projection of SQL must be an object of type ot_test_type for extraction in bulk work.

  Your projection of SQL look like this:
  cursor c1 is select object_name from user_objects;

  object_name is a string - it is not of type ot_test_type.

  You must change the projection to return ot_test_type. This is done by using the default constructor for that type of object.

  For example
  cursor c1 is ot_test_type (object_name) select as the user_objects OBJECT;

  He may now be in bulk recovered in tt_test_type.

  Local index is the index that is created on the partition key column name.

  Just to be clear, that a local index must not necessarily be created on partitioned key column, it is simply automatically partitioned in the same way as the underscore.

  If it contains effectively partitioned key columns is completely optional.

  I have the selector column with: week, month and quarter. I used the in the PivotTable.

  I want to interact this column with global filter selector.

  For example:

  When I choose "Time". "' Week ' I want to put the global filter: DAY_NUM_OF_WEEK = 7

  choose "Time". "" Month "-> DAY_NUM_OF_MONTH = 31

  choose "Time". "' Area '-> DAY_NUM_OF_QUARTER = 90

  How can I do this?

  Maybe I can create the formula (perhaps with BOX WHEN) in the global filters, but how can I refer to the selection week/month/quarter column?

  You will need something a little more complex for the filter as there must always be a condition similar to SQL...

  Then you can try a filter as:

  (' @{Sun} {xxx} "="Month")

  AND

  DAY_NUM_OF_MONTH = 30)

  OR

  (' @{Sun} {xxx}' = 'Quarter')

  AND

  DAY_NUM_OF_QUARTER = 90)

  (Just to be sure: this is a filter that you want to use in your criteria tab in the filter box, right?)

  Must be something local on your desktop.

  Maybe try a uninstall/reinstall of PowerGUI?

  If it works in Firefox Safe mode and then disable all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and then try to find out who is causing by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

  Alternatively, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  I Sat P300 and zet 3 usb allows you to connect to the internet.
  But for some unknown reason, the access pass to local access only and return to the local and internet.
  This can happen every 2 minutes or sometimes not at all.

  I checked the firewall and all settings for internet and everything as it should.
  Another thing that can help the modem works fine on old pc with xp.
  No problem at all.

• Missing mass storage controller and keyboard filter driver

  I have a HP Pavilion dv5215us laptop that I just installed Windows 7.  I'm missing the drivers for the mass storage controller and keyboard filter.  I tried to download on the HP site, but it seems that there are no drivers for this computer/Windows 7.  Is there anything else I can do?

• The Globals and Globals station brought in the sequential model of the file

  I create sample files to illustrate the use of the station globals and globals using TestStand 4.2, model batch file.  I was assuming that station overall value would be persistent to the station and file global values are persisted to the file (as long as the file is not deleted, the value will remain).  But, after the executions of couple, I found that I'm wrong.

  He's looking to me that globals file, the value reset for each new execution.  I would like to ask if this is a correct behavior?  If it is correct, I can say that: because each run contains the new instance of the file, so at the beginning again, new copy of the globals file are created.  (I'm borrowing the idea of the model of batch execution logic, but for my example, I use only the sequential model).

  In addition to reading the other posts, for globals station, value is not persistent until a file Save command issued manually.  How to deliver this command?  And, is there a similar command for globals file?

  When teststand is closed the StationGlobals file is updated automatically, you don't have to do anything.

  For FileGlobals, there is a static version, that you create at the time of editing, and there is a version of the runtime. When you change the values during execution, these are not kept when execution is completed. So if you want to maintain values of execution you will also change the static values and also save the file in the sequence.

  There are examples in this forum to do just that.

  Panel configuration-Device Manager - look at the settings for the network card, WiFi, Modem power management.

• Local and unidentified network access

  I have recently updated my router to an Apple time machine... my iMac, PS3, portable 2 work running XP and another book of Vista works well, BUT my girls one has problems with wireless, it works very well if connected to the router.

  The laptop connects to the router showing a good signal, but the network is showing as not identified and access is only local.

  There seems to be a lot of similar problems on the forum with perhaps too collaborative... so far, I have upgrade to Service pack 2 and downloaded some difficulty is .no change

  Anyone have any idea? Looks like I'm here for days!

  The connection to the router should be local, and unless you have assigned a name to your router, it will say not identified.  The machine has internet access despite what network shows?  Is there an internet icon in the available networks?  If Yes, I suppose that I don't worry what it says - the conection works as it should (although the Internet should appear in connections made when it is turned on).  If not, go to start / Network / Network and Sharing Center / configure a new connection / configuration of an internet connection and follow the prompts to create a new internet connection on your system (you may need to reference the settings on another computer running Vista to the right).  Then try using this new connection to connect to the internet and see if it works.  If so, remove the old connection is not working and you're good to go.

  I hope this helps.  If not, post back with what happens when you try to connect by using the new connection that you created.
