Localized user interface

Hello

I have some problems to reload the complete dictionary (GSD file)

with the LabWindows/CVI 'User localized Interface' tool.

DO NOT run a multilingual, with the good translation software.

The final executable works perfectly, with LWL file.

BUT if I need to correct an error of translation (I'm only a man ).

and try to reload the previously saved dictionary (GSD file) for that.

After leaving the tool,

many completed translations previously disappeared (see pictures attached).

You can save the dictionary as much time you want.

After put again and again... the same missing translation.

Whenever you reload, after the tool 'User Interface localized',

some translated lack again and again in the tool.

See the attached example.

See with 'Fonction_EN. GDL' and 'OK (enter)' message button of the Panel "in context".

It is correcly filled in the final file of LWL, so the executable is correctly loaded.

But it still does not save in the GDL dictonary file.

We had the problem, since almost LabWindows/CVI 2012 (and perhap previously).

And especially with some IUR with many panels on the inside

and/or using the same translations (__OK, __Cancel, etc...).

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello

A solution was given by another post.

Sorry, I lost the link.

Thank you.

Process:

LabWindows / CVI-> tools-> localized user Interface...

-File-> open User Interface (*.uir, * .tui)...

'... \Elements.uir '.

--> Dictionary Translation of the dictionary (*.lwd)...

'... \Elements.lwd ' (-online form "Chains" successfully imported file dictionary)

-File-> load location (*.lwl)...

'... \Elements_En.lwl ' (-online 'channels successfully imported the language resource file)

The translation are fulfilled.

    Thanks to the Rest API of Eloqua, the contact list is created with scope as 'local' value but in Eloqua IU record is not displayed.

    Note: What scope is Global, then the folder is created successfully via API and also displayed in the user interface

    Maithili Eloqua creates lists with a range of 'local' when you add individual contacts or upload contacts to a segment.  These lists exist locally as part of the segment and should not appear anywhere else in the user interface.  For a list is available in the shared library, it must have a value of scope of the 'Global '.

  • How do I switch back to the previous user interface style

    Is it possible to restore the v31 pre user interface style? Why the user interface has been changed in the first place? The user interface was the area with the least amount of questions, especially when it comes to style and colors. I'd rather see Mozilla devs allowing multiple clients sharing the same locally stored in structure of the mailbox that waste their time on evolving user interface.
    So, is it possible to get back to how it looked like before rather than having everything be gray and dark blue battleship? It's especially annoying when creating new emails. The header section is all gray offering much less contrast and with weak lines, there is barely any spacing between header lines. It is totally against what produced the 30 years of UX research.

  • Why is there no user interface for moving the cache locations/profile?

    OK, so it took me a long time to find how to move the location of the cache and the reason is that it is done by an entry that does not exist originally, so a user need to know the channel config even magically set it.
    (this is browser.cache.disk.parent_directory for those in the same waters as me) and it still did not move the location of the profile...

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder
    and it does not work so well for me (i.e. all) but why have I not copy and change things? It is created automatically the first time you start so FF cannot use the same method to create a new profile in an empty space?

    And my real question: is there a valid reason, that there is no element of the user interface to set the location of the profile cache directories?

    There never was a user interface for these parameters - Mozilla is "stingy" about adding prefs that will be only once required by the installation of the user interface. Also, I assume that the developers are convinced that a power user who thinks that even on the displacement of the cache will be searching for instructions on how to do it. (BTW, when you move the cache profile is moved to the folder path profile, its origin "local settings" folder - thus it is automatically moved out of APP DATA.) You can still use this pref to put the cache exactly where you want. I use a small partition for the TEMPORARY files and the cache of Firefox, so they don't one of my biggest readers logics frag.)

    Regarding the difficulties with a profile in motion, developers have threatened to remove Firefox profiles altogether for the last 3 years or 4 and WONTFIX had no Bug filed all improve or add new features to the Profile Manager. This will probably happen this year some time.

    Between you and me, there is a new Profile Manager application just went Beta, which will probably "be released" just as the existing profile manager is extracted from Firefox. It is very schweet and is always at the point where the developers are in response to reports of bugs on features to include and adding the items that are important. I have tabled a minor Bug on the characters allowed in a profile name, which was fixed in 3 or 4 weeks.

    You must have Windows Visual C++ 2010 redistributable installed for the application of the Profile Manager XUL Runner to work right now. I hope that this will change very soon, and all the necessary files will be included in the Zip package.

  • cRIO with interface user interface structure

    Hi guys,.

    I am new to Labview and way to start my first cRIO VI. My question is a bit broad, so I'll try to make it as clear as possible.

    My project will include a display of the user interface where the user initially sets some parameters that are passed to RIO by a central core of UI. This group includes both controls and indicators (all sensors/controllers, via RIO) which should be amended or updated in real time.

    Looking at the cRIO examples found in the developer's guide, it seems that all the screws are loaded from the present cRIO folder in a project. This is the common practice? Also, should I run my vi of cRIO screen UI. Wouldn't it be better if I run it locally (i.e. within the host project folder) and call all the RIO under breast screws? In addition, what the controllers of type definition? This should not also be placed in the folder of the local host? My problem is that running the vi main UI directly from RIO has some limitations (by example cannot use invoke nodes to open/close some live and cannot use subgroups).

    Thanks for your time,

    Harry

    Adnan,

    Thanks for the very fast response and the very clear answer... I am very confident for my project now...

    See you soon,.

  • Speech recognition - recognition language is not language User Interface problem

    I want to get Windows 7 speech recognition to work with British English, but I get an error after the training, that the language of the speech recognition is does not match the language of the user interface. I got the thing defined in the locale UK and speech recognition in British English. Several people have suggested:

    • Change regional settings, restart, change back again, reboot. Does not...
    • Turning off the box that says look at my documents. Does not solve.
    • make a Windows 7 reinstall. Can't do like no Windows 7 no install disc came with the PC.

    Can someone help me solve this problem? Where is the language of the User Interface set? Would - this something to do with Office 2010?

    There is anecdotal evidence that the use of like CCleaner registry cleaners can cause this problem.

  • Is any impact of a change of the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual computer?

    Hello

    I'm looking to see if there is an impact to change the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual machine?

    The software version is v6.2 build 4073.

    Thank you in advance,

    Robert

    I'll assume, you are referring to the administrator account, but it can be applied to any local account which is located on the TCS server itself.  It has no impact to change the password, unless you are using doesn't say account to connect to the server of TCS or web interface, it will not affect the application of TCS as most things such as external storage or clustering rely on domain accounts and not the local server.

  • Shell of the user interface: generate a new TAB within the area with the help of a binding element.

    Hello Oracle Community:

    I work with an application based on the model of Shell user interface design.

    My use case is

    #1: start a tab Dynamics from the Navigation pane.

    #2: tab loads in the local area. (this works as expected, pictured below)

    #3: launch of the additional tabs in the page loading in the step #2.  They are triggered by simple links on the .jsff page.  (this does not work - please help.  This should work?  If so, what missing am me?)

    Question : Can I launch a new tab from a link component in the local area (page .jsff)?

    As you can see I have links on my dashboard and I want that they engage in new tabs when you click.  Please test before responding "in theory".

    3 mods are needed

    1.) change managed bean to "session."

    2.) implement the following class of activity Launcher

    3.) implement the following methods of the managed bean

    -----------

    ManagedBean

    -----------

    public String invokeTaskFlow (String Title, String taskFlowPropertyName) {}

    String taskflowId = PropertiesLoader.getProp (taskFlowPropertyName);

    AL ActivityLauncher = new ActivityLauncher();

  • Passage of thanks VM SATA drives? (update: a bug in the user interface web host)

    I use ESXi 6.0 for private home use and am currently building a NAS with him (on top of ESXi OpenMediaVault). However, as I am using only material quality consumer, my SATA controller does normally not for raw device mapping. I added the raw device manually in accordance with VMware KB: Raw Device Mapping for the local storage but when I try to join the top device (via the file on the local data store) a virtual machine, the user interface gives me an error message indicating that the capacity is too large for the given data store (of course, the system disk is much smaller than the data disks).

    Is there a way I can still add raw devices to virtual machines?

    Another update: upgrading the client to the web user interface host to 3731936 seems to fix this problem. I can now add virtual disks as RDMs in the web client.

  • How can I change the language of the user interface

    It seems that some efforts on l10n had been put in the latest TP. My host OS is Win 7 x 64 (Simp-Chinese) and I find that the user interface has been localized.

    As I have no option to change the language, could someone tell me how to do?

    BTW: I also noticed that some channels have not translated yet while some translations need to be improved.

    I wonder how can I report a l10n issues. As this community is English, I don't think I can report it here.

    Thank you.

    A solution from a member of the VMTN community. And it works:

    If you want to change the workstation to English user interface, you can open Control Panel, open "regional language and ' and change the format to"English (United States). Workstation displays in English.

    He also mentions that the l10n process is not yet complete. So I guess it would be better for people like me to inform after the final version.

  • How can I change the language of the user interface for my trial version of Illustrator CS6?

    I don't know why, but I had the Danish, English or Dutch version would be nice.

    Re-download the package in the correct version. There is no way to change the language of the user interface on the trial in the case. Also check the settings of your system language. By default, installs broken will use the settings system locale. that cannot be replaced with a serial number when you purchase the product.

  • CS4 user interface color Themes - they "do" anything?

    I ran across this interesting "Interface user color themes" folder in the folder Presets in ID CS4. Files in there define interesting things, such as tab and Panel colours, degraded and "The UI font size" and "name of the UI font. Unfortunately, nothing changing at all Autonomous has not changed the way my ID looked at...

    I also copied the entire folder to the folder of my local user setting, but that has zero or one.

    (1) anyone know if these files get used? (I would say that they are not, but you never know!)

    (2) CS5 has it the same, or a similar folder, and do something useful here? For example, change the user interface fonts Tahoma in Georgia - this does it work?

    Same results using CS5 - zilch.

  • Question of Portuguese strings in the user interface

    Dear all,

    I'm showing my plugin UI protugues strings. Most of the characters is displayed correctly. But characters such as c, e, a, a, o do not display correctly. Some special characters are inserted before these characters and also the exactly the characters are not displayed. How can I fix this user interface problem? In the resource file, I have "kEuropeanMacToWinEncodingConverter" as the character encoding converter below:

    resources StringTable (kSDKDefStringsResourceID + index_ptBR)
    {
    k_ptBR, / / locale Id
    kEuropeanMacToWinEncodingConverter, / / character encoding converter
    {

    }
    }

    Thank you

    Your text is probably UTF8, use kResourceUTF8Encoded then. Check your settings in XCode for details, finally it reencoded just your source.

    If you want to stick with kEuropeanMacToWinEncodingConverter, make sure that the file is actually in Mac Roman - for example, open it in CodeWarrior.

  • Mac OS Server - local users on console does not.  The shared access or ssh on account works

    A Mac Mini running Mac OS Server has problems with authenticating the passwords of local users.  Users connect the console of the physical computer running macOS app Sierra and Server 5.2.

    I'm looking for a short solution from scratch user and migrating data to a new installation.

    My hunch is that there is an interaction with the server application.  The other Macs, I managed on the same network fail server and do not have these problems.

    I installed a new version of macOS Sierra and then migrate the old data server on using the migration wizard, but the problem persists.

    The server used to have users on the network, but they are all deleted, and all users are the.

    In application server, the only services running time machine, the caching server and file server.  DNS, DHCP and Open Directory services are disabled in the server application.

    A local user password will work normally when the computer is restarted.  But if the user disconnects, and tries to connect to or use the fast user switching back and forth between accounts, the password is not accepted.  On reboot, it will be accepted.

    In addition to passwords are not accepted, other errors when you try to connect to specific customers include:

    "Your account is not a valid directory.  For more information, contact your system administrator'

    or

    "On behalf of user that you selected is not available."  Check your network connection and try again to the user account.  If you are connected to the network, ask system administrator for assistance. »

    If a network is used to access the data of the user using the user name and password, it works.  Similarly, SSH'ing via the terminal using the username and password works.

    An admin user can change the password back and it usually works for one login.  Then the password is denied if the user disconnects or use the fast user switching.

    Thanks in advance for any help on this embarrassing problem!

    I should clarify: it's the passwords of local users on the Mac who stop working (for the connection or fast user switching), until the Mac restarts.

  • Prevent local users to install Firefox

    For some reason, the local users are able to download and install Firefox on their profiles. It installs in their file C:\Users\ < user > to \AppData\ and does not appear in the list of software to uninstall so that the local user who placed it.

    As a system of administration that does not want any user to install ANY software, unless they are using an administrator account, this is very frustrating. How to avoid as local users on our network, without administrative rights to install this software?

    Hello kafri, when the installer for firefox (and many other programs) is run without administrator privileges that he could deliver his program files in this directory to users appdata rather than be installed globally for all users of this computer.
    If you want to restrict that you will have to consider in defining certain system policies as described in the https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2008.06.srp.aspx (this will beyond the scope of our forum, however).
