  I have a requirement in my application a lot of program thatcreating a report to a file and it is written in a user's location. Now he specified directly as (c:\ or d:\...).

  The best practice would be to create the file in My Documents for the user currently logged in windows.

  Unfortunately, you did not mention your version of forms. In an older version like 6.x it is function in the library of d2kwutil called Read_Registry in the win_api_environment section, and in the more recent versions the same availble function in the library webutil to client_ name.

  So, you can read the registry database for the current logged in user using the function mentioned above of the location next to the register.
  My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell folders

  There is an entry named personal. Read the path of this entry when running while generating / record file to the customer's location and save the file in this path.

  A web page can be defined a "accesskey" for an item. Unlike IE/Chrome/Safari, who use the Alt key only, Firefox requires pressing Alt and Shift to activate the element. In other words, try

  ALT + SHIFT + S

  and see if it works.

  I found the solution:

  Even when it is not possible to use a variable in the context menu, it is possible to put a global string in the recorder manually. I put "${Unit_Ch1}" on the ground for the unit, and it worked.

  Something is hijacking your system.

  Run your anti virus and anti malware.
  Download the latest audio drivers for your device from the site of the manufacturer. Do not install yet. Also download Ccleaner (Google it).
  Remove all references from your audio device (software and drvers).
  Re starting and running ccleaner, registry bit - but back up your registry first, and the value of a restore point, just in case.
  Re install your software and audio divers, re boot, everything should be ok.

• VIXIA HF R600 record with no healthy option?

  I'm sure that I'm missing something simple, but can someone please help me with how to save with no noise on the Vixia HF R600?

  I can see sound options for: modes Standard, music, speech, & forest birds and Noise Suppression. (= Noise suppression "reduces the noise of the wind and cars. Ideal for recording in a car or the crowd. ("It does not turn off the noise.)

  During video playback I can see where to adjust the volume of the headphones/AV.

  However, I still find an option to turn off the sound when recording.

  Am I missing something? Or is my only option to take the sound with some editing program afterwards?

  It seems strange that a modern camcorder would not be the mere possibility of recording with no sound so. It seems such an obvious option to understand.

  XP86 running. Recently had installed the additional memory. Microsoft Update icon never goes away - seems like if 1 of 5 updates usually install on a group. Keep trying to install updates (even those) again and again. Sometimes we will not install and then moved the next time, he's trying to install the same updates, another a group. Worked through say fixit and details window update location must be changed to windows default = - but did not say how.

• Record with a Contact Microphone

  I am trying to record effects sounds coming through a concrete slab floor/ceiling using my computer. I bought a guitar pickup that attaches with a suction cup. When I record using it, the sounds are very electronic-sounding, but don't have sound like impact (percussion sounds and noises) sounds. Does anyone have an idea how I can get this to work? Do I need a different type of microphone? A regular computer microphone does not seem to work. I'm running a PC with Windows Vista.  I tried to record with sound recorder of Microsoft and the "Cool Record Edit Pro" software. I get the same results for each.

  I don't think that the sound that you are trying to save has something to do with the Microphone.

  If you are able to create the sound impact from the ceiling using your guitar, I suggest you to check with a sound editing software if it has the ability to change the height, frequency, tone etc.
