  How do I listen to an event of BB Messenger? I see in the OS 4.2.1 API, you can do BlackBerryMessenger.registerServer (), but it is not very clear how to build a service.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Cant find blackberry messenger on my phone more

  I forgot to lock my phone when I put it in my pocket and somehow blackberry Messenger has been removed from my home screen. This isn't in my Messaging Instant folder and I have redownloaded it and still no icon.  The only way I can get to it is by going to apps to pass and then go and find the icon in there. IS anyway to recover the icon? Thank you

  Hi guys. I am new to the forum and I'll try to do this quickly. Since I installed the new BBM on my 9700 AT & T, it has a problem giving me my BBM. Sometimes it will not even make a sound alert, change the LED color or allow me to see the new message received unless I can get a glimpse into all my messages (e-mail, text SMS, MMS messages, etc.). Here is an example. I receive an alert by a BBM contact. I can see or see what they typed to me in all my messages, but once I try to view it by clicking on it, it won't be there. It will show only what I typed. So from there, I'll go into options in Blackberry Messenger and change any setting here that forces me to close by saving the new setting. Then when I go back to the message that I can't see, it will be displayed. I constantly have to do this just to show messages in my BBM contacts. Is there a setting that I've screwed up or y at - it something wrong with my Blackberry? I had to downgrade BBM was last updated and I don't want to do that, even when I don't have to.   I'm 90% certain that upgrading your BBMessenger wouldn't affect this, but I've seen weirder things happen.

  Therefore, if the reset, as I mentioned, does not receive your music playback, to do this:

  Use your BlackBerry Messenger feature to back up your contacts, you have now and also do a full backup using the Desktop Manager.

  Then, go to Options > Applications and scroll the Messenger app and do not click it, just highlight it. Click Menu > delete and remove the application.

  Now, do a restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install again the Messenger application.

  After installation and reboot if necessary, check your instant messaging, or downloads of the application folder.

  You can restore your contacts from the application of v.5 BBM or from Office Manager > Backup/Restore > advanced.
