• Integration of BlackBerry Messenger SDK... Help, please!

  I am trying to install the SDK of BBM on my PC.

  I followed the instructions on the start following guide: -.

  (1) first of all, I had to update my JDE and JRE of 1.6.14 to 1.6.26 versions so I uninstalled all older versions of Java and installed 1.6.26.The JRE do not settle in the folder by default (JRE 1.6.0_26) but in a folder called jre6

  (2) after I implemented the SDM as indicated in the instructions. I created the shortcut to MDS with the target as required.

  (3) after that I tried to run the MDS, but it did not work because the unlimited encryption settings are not configured. So I replaced the files in the folder "JRE6/lib/Security" with the jce policy files. After that, the MDS worked very well.

  (4) I had already installed the simulators (5.0 and 6.0) so I ran both sim1.bat and sim2.bat in the 5.0 folder. The simulators showed THAT BBM 6.0 has been installed. But after I tried the sim2 guest sim1 BBM and vice versa, it appears just as pending in the BBM and I don't get requests in the invited simulators.

  Can someone please help me solve this problem? I repeated this procedure a countless number of times, but I can't always connect the simulators to the other.

  Additional notes:

  (1) when I opened the simulators, I see some messages in the MDS. So I can assume MDS has been installed properly?

  (2) I cannot browse the internet using browsers on a simulator.

  (3) as when I go to manage connections service status BIS and BES services are indicated as not connected. This means that the installer is not done correctly?

  Do you have a BlackBerry data plan? A standard data plan will not be enough for BBM access, this is the first place to check. If the phone has done this since you guessed it, confirm that you are on a BlackBerry data plan with your carrier.

  The next step if you have confirmed that you have access to a BlackBerry data plan is to go to Options > Advanced Options > host routing, Table and then press the BB Menu button and select Save now. Then, go to settings > e-mail settings, login if necessary, and then press the BB Menu, select Service books and resend your Service books. If you have problems with this, call your carrier as they can do for you.

  OK, let's do this FIRST, before you wipe and reload the operating system.

  1. ON your BlackBerry, open BlackBerry Messenger
  2. Press the Menu key > Options > Backup.
  3. Make a backup of your BlackBerry contacts to your 'local' card
  4. Once that is done, go below.
  1. Go to your main device Options icon > advanced > Applications.
  2. Access BlackBerry Messenger on the list and do not click it, just highlight it.
  3. Press Menu > DELETE. Allow BBM to remove.
  4. Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  5. Now, using the BlackBerry browser, go to www.blackberry.com/bbm and download.reinstall BBMessenger.
  6. After it is complete, try to use BBM again and if necessary to restore contacts, Options > backup > restore contacts.

  In order to use BBM on our device we need BlackBerry data Plan / BIS on our behalf of our carrier or Mobile service provider, if you don't have that then activate BIS on your account it will correct the problem you are currently experiencing with BBM.

  But if you already have BIS then first try to do these steps on any wifi network. If the problem persists, then try these steps and see if that helps:

  1. first uninstall BlackBerry Messenger options > device > Application Management > delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list. Then restart your device by removing the battery while your device is turned on.

  2. Since a computer reset your BlackBerry ID password

  KB26361 : How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password 

  3 restart your device again and you connect with your new BlackBerry ID password on your device.

  4. Finally of your BlackBerry browsing browse or click here www.blackberry.com/bbm to download the latest version of BBM available for your device. After restarting, your BlackBerry ID can successfully associated with BBM.

  Click the icon of your BB Messenger.

  Highlight Contacts > press menu (button to the left of the trackball)

  Click "add to Contacts".

  This will take you to the address book... Scroll to the top, click "Use once"

  Press menu again and select... "Request email" type their e-mail address.  This will send the request to the selected recipient.

  Or

  Choose 'Ask pine', if you already know its pin code #.

  In both cases, the request must be accepted by the recipient before you can have added them as a contact.

   

  They will appear as "pending" until they agreed.
