  I used to be able to move my mouse over the name of the file in the links Panel and a little pop up would come with the location of the image. It seems that it works, which is frustrating, because it would give me a description longer where was the link. Which shows the link information in the Panel is too few characters to really find in my server. Any ideas why it does not work? I have CC Indesign on Mac 10.10.4 2015.

  Hello!  I am an instructor and have tons of old VMS using all my disk space.  I want to do a cleanup, but I don't want to accidentally delete a parent of a linked clone until I have a chance to remove anything important with the linked clone.  Is it possible to determine if a virtual machine is used as the parent of a linked clone?

  If you look at the Snapshot Manager for the parent of the linked clone VM, you will find that a snapshot is created automatically when you bind the clone. The snapshot icon has a "lock". Please see my attachment 'linkclonesnapshot.png '.

• The link on cRIO speed settings do not survive restart

  I'm running a cRIO-9068 with firmware revision 1.0.0f1.  It is part of a static network including setting on autonegotiation link speeds.  However, if I put the cRIO to autonegotiation link speed, the cRIO fails to connect to the switch.  Fail lights and pings on the cRIO and switch activity doesn't show any activity.

  Curiously, the cRIO connects successfully when I set the connection speed to 100 Mbps/Full duplex or slower, and it is an acceptable workaround for me (for as far as the requirements of the project creep beyond 100 Mbps).  My problem is that this link speed setting does not survive a reboot cRIO.  After the reboot, the connection speed is reset to auto-negotiation and the cRIO is disconnected once more.

  I'm doing the link configuration changes via web interface of the cRIO speed.  I am logged in as an administrator and save my changes, and I get confirmation that the speed of the link has been set at 100/FDX.  Despite this, restarts always resets the cRIO to auto-negotiation.

  Another curiosity is the ratio of the switch that the cRIO is connected to 100/HDX.

  I tried to make a file of script in /etc/init.d with the command "ethtool speed 100 duplex full s.  I have updated using update - rc.d, but no joy.  Any script OR bat mine is either not using ethtool, or it is not dans/etc/init.d.  I don't know what else to watch because no where else to look at.

  Change the setting of switching to 100/FDX has solved the problem, but this setting is applied to individual ports.  This would force me to always use the same port for the cRIO, a restriction which I've had rather not commit.

  The problem is obviously the switch, because the cRIO connects to my development computer fine with auto-negotiation framework.  Unfortunately, the switch is a component not negotiable material project.  The fix should be done on the side of things cRIO.

  Any thoughts on why the cRIO doesn't remember it's link speed setting?

  I found a known bug with this problem reported for LabVIEW 2013. I did a little test with LV 2014 shows that it is work as expected.

  You can try to upgrade to the latest NOR-RIO device driver? I could not find the details of it being fixed, so I don't know if its on the side of the LabVEW or the driver but its worth a shot.

  One last thing, you should switch to RIO 14.0.1 because there was a bug with disocvered with some components in the FPGA that fixed us that you need to upgrade.

• My icon names are now white on a blue background, after 'copy link location' of the web.

  Recently (stupidly) just clicked on an image in ebay & selected copy the location of the link so as not to lose my search.  After you have copied on the desktop there is no URL link, and all the icon names are now in white on a blue background.   To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

  1. don't icons open programs correct?

  2. you have any antivirus installed on the computer program?

  You can try the steps and check if it helps.

  1 Control Panel / System / Advanced / Performance tab / button settings and tick: shadows fall to use the desktop icon labels.

  It's not quite like that. If iTunes starts up and has reason to notice that a drive where other titles are supposed to be stored is offline, then it flags those followed with the exclamation point. If subsequently put you at the disposal of the player and import the same tracks it will make fresh entries in the library for them. If you close iTunes and then reopen it, you should find that the two entries of work.   When iTunes has multiple entries for the same file there is only one of them on the device. Broken entries are not copied over. It seems that you manually manage the device that takes the most effort than syncing playlists selected from a well-trained library.

  Duplicates in iTunes are usually the result of re-import content located outside the media folder where your settings allow for the songs imported to copy in the media folder. iTunes is not keep a record of the external paths, so if you add the same record twice, you get two copies. If you start iTunes with the media on an external drive disconnected, then plug in the hard drive and then add files to iTunes iTunes can contain multiple references to the same files. If the reader has several times different drive letters, or you manually move media autour, then this can lead to broken links.

  The latest version of the script can put away the dead links as long as there is at least a double live to merge his stats and membership of the playlist and must deal wisely when the same file has been added through multiple paths.

• The location of the XML file?

  Hi - Maybe it's a weird question, but I hope someone can help me.  I'm supposed to copy and paste the XML of my client on the server whenever it is updated through DW when connected to FTP.  So far, I have not been able to access the server, so I have no way of knowing exactly where the XML file.  This is the page which takes XML:

  I assumed that there is a kind of folder on the server that holds the file called "matrix".  For the life of me, after looking at the link above, code I can't well it say anything on a matrix file.

  In DW, I made a small test page and put in place a Spry data set and took a picture of the code [see below]:

  

  Spry shows clearly where the file is located in the photo above, but I can't find it on the link.  In addition, scientists are telling me that all I have to do is to download the XML through WordPress (the above site using WP CMS) but when I did it - downloaded the XML through WP - it is not too much to write the previous version but rather re - name (such as matrix1.xml).

  So I think the only way to download and replace a DW FTP access and copy and paste the new code XML on the server.

  Is my analogy this correct?  You can see the path I might be dominant in the page above that points to the matrix file?  I want to just make sure that the XML file is located on the link server in a directory above.

  Sorry - I was referring to your second question on downloading the file with FTP. If you want to download it with WP, and then delete the existing since the first Panel to SUPPORT XML file.

  When I open Wordpad in Windows 7, the location of the window is partially off the screen. I can drag the window back to the screen, but after I closed the window off the screen location is used the next time I run the Wordpad application.
