    Hello...

Have you tried to resolve your profiles? The icon is on the desktop of Blackberry Handheld. You can go to the icon and ADVANCED to edit your profiles or create a new profile.

  • Call failed blackBerry Smartphone waiting

One thing really miss me about this 8310 is when I miss a call, sms, mms or whatever it is the only thing that happens is the Red blinking light. In my industry (construction) that the light is useless, so I keep having to remove the phone to see if I have anything missded. I don't have sound when I receive a call or a text message but my workplace is noisey to hear it sometimes, so a reminder every min or so would be useful. My razor has this and I grew up on this subject.

Can someone tell me if there is a place for this switch?

The blackberry does not have this feature, but there is a third-party application, you can download blackberry alerts called.  The price is $ 12.95, but they also offer a 7 day trial.

  • Information of incoming calls of blackBerry Smartphones

I have a Bold 9700 on AT & T.  When I receive a call from someone in my Contacts, his name appears on the display while the phone rings, but their location (e.g., home, work, Mobile) does not work.  After the call, the call log shows the location called from.  I pulled the battery, changed the theme, reset the phone, etc.  Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Spent an hour chatting with AT & T - no help.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You must update the operating system on your BB to get this.  I use the following operating system and access the feature.  Follow the instructions in the first post here:

    (1) what exactly "Restrict my identity" options: {always |} Never | Network determined} and how/why I use?

    (2) what in the world is "alerts during a call: Privacy" alert options {None |} Tone} an alert?  And how and why I would use?

FORGIVE me if this is posted somewhere already - TRUST ME - I looked!

I just got this 'stupidphone' don't know if I'm happy with it.  I just discovered that I can't record a telephone conversation despite the fact that both parties are committed to ongoing registration.  It's nonsense and RIM apparent security excuse sounds like hogwash to me.  But I'm off track, I apologize.

Thank you in advance and give congratulations for a real answer.

1 limit my identity determines what your callee sees on their Caller ID.

    2. you want to receive alert messages during a call, like a tone slightly on the side of a call?

    Make this setting here.

If you don't like the BlackBerry, you might want to give him a few weeks of use to determine whether or not you're a good way with her. It is really, in my opinion, a steep learning curve a little more on the BlackBerry than many other features... in my opinion, it is worth. Had checked this or any forum BlackBerry user in advance, would have learned you that these devices are not likely registration call.

    Good luck.

This problem started pover the past 4 days... it worked fine before...

any help with this wud help! Please

Maybe resembles the call log database my be corrupt. You can try to clear the database to see if that fixes the problem. To do that you can open the Desktop Manager and go to the backup and restore icon. Then, click on the Advanced button. On the right side, find the log of the calls or phone call log database. You can tap the Clear button. In doing so, you delete all entries in your call log.

Then try to see if you are still having the same problem. If so you will need to back up data from your phone and wipe the unit

  • Indicative call lost blackBerry smartphones

    I use Blackbery Bold 9320

When I call someone or receive a call, I can't hear their voice. They are able to hear me speak. I also tried to call the voicemail when it happened and had the same result. It's almost as if she remains mute for the speaker rather than the microphone. The solution instan with trun the speaker and pursue the appeal. I had this happens 5 or 6 times now.

Is there a solution for this.

A battery pull should always be the first thing you try when problems arise. To make a correct battery pull, remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace a few seconds later.

  • Missed calls SMS blackBerry smartphones

Apparently, whenever you miss a call, the phone generates a message "SMS" to let you know.  Is there anyway to turn off this feature?  It is quite annoying to have to go flag/remove in order for the mail message indicator to go...

    Answer below:

From the home screen, go to the phone application (press the Green key). Then press the BB (the button to the right of the green phone button) and select Options. Then select Call Logging... in there, this is where you control what that name (if applicable) get connected in the message list.

  • Call failed blackBerry Smartphone icon won't go away

    Hello

I just bought a blackberry off ebay (after millions of problems with my iPhone!) and I'm having a few problems...

First of all, when I turned it on there was no txt, or the sound icon message icon. I browsed this site and followed the advice to remove the battery to restart and that seems to have done the trick. However, someone called me and now I have a call missed the top of the screen icon. I can't find a way to access to see who called me and to make it disappear.

My second problem is that I am unable to use the Setup Wizard to configure my email account (this is a gmail account). I was wondering which would be because I'm currently on a rate of the iPhone with O2? Should I change my rate for a rate of blackberry in order to implement my mails and surf the net?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Try following the steps in this post to clear the missed call icon

Yes you need a BlackBerry data Plan, not the IPhone plan to set up e-mail accounts and browse the internet
