Log spooler files cleaning

My file D:\spoolerlogs (spooler.xml) has increased to 69 246,1 MB.  How can I reduce and stop from growing so large in the future?

Most of the information on the spooler.xml seems to be related to the different versions of Windows Server, which is not the typical home user.  On the other hand, you are not unique in having this problem in Windows XP.

The spoolererrorlog (i.e. spooler.xml) seems to be related to the Windows Error Reporting Service.  See, for example, Ko 960919, which relates to Windows Server 2008.

This Technet Article explains how to disable the logging of events to printer for Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2, but the options are also available in XP.  Click Start > printers and faxes > file > server properties > advanced.

310414 KB describes how to turn off Windows Error Reporting, or to configure to be used only for certain types of errors.  In Windows XP, the error report is the mechanism which, when an error occurs, displays a dialog box that prompts you to report the problem to Microsoft.  I was not aware that it could also create a log on the computer's hard drive.

Personally, my approach to Windows Error Reporting has been simply to use Start > run > services.msc > OK to set the "Startup type" the "Error Reporting Service" to "disabled".  See http://www.blackviper.com/wiki/Error_Reporting_Service#Windows_XP
Your spooler.xml file, it does not seem a good reason to simply delete.  If it will not erase because it is 'in service', stop the error reporting service, then remove it.

  • Pulse TTL-PCI-6503 write in a log .txt file

Hello, I need to connect the PCI-6503 data output to a log .txt file. This PCI-6503 map reads a pulse sent from another PCI-6503 located in another computer. I want to just save the .txt file if a pulse is received. I know how to create and write to the .txt file, but do not know how to write the DAQmx data in this file. Could someone help?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi a2h,.

To only write when there is data emerging from the Daqmx read, you can use the table Emply?. VI to determine if there are real (like the pulse) from the unit and then data of yarn that a structure of case that will write to a text file in the case of false.

  • Logging.XML file resets after you restart the managed server

    Hi all

I modified the logging.xml file because I implemented a Logger. But ADF custom after you restart the server, SOA, logging.xml file get automatically back to the unmodified state, all this means that I modified was not.

    Am I missing something?

    Please suggest!
    Kind regards
    Shah

    Hi Shah
In the EPS group, usually there is a set of Configuration files are synchronized to all of AdminServer breaks the run. A simple example is like file config.xml and some files of data sources, files, ldap, etc. Whenever we reboot the Soa or bam managed servers, they go to AdminServer and obtain a copy of these files. So, if you make any changes directly on the managed server computers, then can be is getting crushed when you restart the servers. Check the timestamp of all these files. Make the changes on the side means Admin on the machine where you have AdminServer running. If all goes well, soa/bam should get these files at startup.
