• Locking before backup database

  I wonder if there is a logic to the locking of the database or the tables especially before I perform a full backup critical of my Oracle 11 g R2 (11.2.0.3) database using RMAN utility? I followed using this forum and the manual to configure my FRA RMAN and settings, but that does not explain the documentation makes sense / theory which I have of course not. Should I or you RDBMS veterans recommend that I have somehow freeze the database diagram or table to prevent data being deleted / changed / or added while my RMAN utility backup my forum?

• FPGA "mean, Variance & Standard Dev ' VI

  Hello world

  I use the express VI 'average, Variance & Standard deviation' through the vessels: 130 samples of a given signal.  When I run the program, the Boolean value "True output" is always false.  Does that mean exactly?  The output looks like valid... This VI documentation is pretty poor.  Someone can explain what that output tells me?

  Hi Alec,.

  OK, I now see the source of confusion. This VI does not support running averages - that's what we've been referring to as "image-based", producing a single measurement for every 130 incoming samples result and a single pulse of the valid data for every 130 samples of output. This mode of operation is similar to the screws based on the Bay (Mean.vi, etc.) in mathematics > range of probabilities and statistics, that take a table and a scalar output. The only difference is on the FPGA, we need to disseminate, in the table, a point at a time. That ye (a reasonable expectation) is analogous to the PtbyPt.vi means that takes a scalar input and updates the average result on every call. We have implemented the version based on the first frames because it avoids the need to store all of the table. To see exactly what we do on any of these screws, just right click on the node and select "Convert to the Subvi", where you can consult and/or modify the code to suit your needs.

  For an example showing a similar operating mode, you can view the example analog period measure (measure Control\Period and examples\R Series\FPGA Fundamentals\Analysis). This example shows an external logic added to lock the result for each period measure - that you have already seen, it is not necessary for average, Variance & gap since this locking is done in-house.

  If the documentation clearly explains the behavior above, which should meet your needs or is there anything else you would expect to cover?

  I'll submit requests for corrective action on the absence of an example and documentation for clarification.

  I was debugging c# code that runs locally and I could create breakpoints and see what runtime objects are loaded and so on.

  I wonder how to debug the workflow that I develop on desktop and run on the instance remote vcac. Is - it possible, or I'm away. How the development team develop / debug their vcac works?

  Hi Bernard, it is not quite clear to me where the problem is that you are experiencing. That is why I détaillerait the steps I would take to debug the script:

  1. I have split the tasks for each workflow steps in several clues that are called via a main script (wrapper). (I would use a logic as described in http://d-fens.ch/2013/12/05/vcac-dynamically-execute-scripts-in-externalwfstubs-workflows-with-powershell/).

  2. each index that you want to debug (or simply the script main wrapper) would have some kind of code on top that would be a kind of logical expectation (a "lock") that he would wait on. For this, I use logic as shown in (http://d-fens.ch/2013/11/16/synchronisation-issues-in-vcac-workflows-and-how-to-solve-them/).

  3. now that the main workflow script is pending, you can run any code you want to asynchronously (with or without the ISE). In order to be able to process the same VM that uses your workflow script you need to retrieve the name of the virtual machine (or preferably the guid) for the script. Then, resolve you and retrieve the virtual computer object via a call like this:

  where $MgmtContext is the variable containing the vCAC management environment (as described in http://d-fens.ch/2013/10/10/investigating-the-vcac-5-2-mgmtcontext/) and "77b7bad5 - 65 c 8-4fe4-b977-24ff060e691e" is the guid of the machine currently being put into service.

  To just get the 'new' machine created, you can run a call like this (in an environment where only you provisions of resources that could be easier than to note the guid of the machine):

  PS > $MgmtContext.VirtualMachines | Select-Object VirtualMachineID, VirtualMachineName, VMCreationDate | Tri - VMCreationDate for property descending | Select-Object - 1 first;

  4. When you run and test your script in ISE make sure you load all the assemblies again (even if they are already loaded into the PowerShell session) because it is a different process. Make sure that you run the ISE under the same account as service vcac account or specify credentials when you connect to the repository vcac. When you have loaded the script file to run and debugging (Ctrl + O) set a breakpoint in the script either through F9 FM "Set-PSBreaktPoint", and then use the interactive Shell (Ctrl + D) to type in the name of the script to run (in the same way that you would have executed him in the workflow). Using the breakpoint and single-step, you are now able to work through the script and do some checking and adjustments.

  5. at the end of testing and debugging remove you the "lock" in step (2) so the main script continues to run and takes up the procurement process.

  Keep in mind that there is only a timeout set how long a workflow can run, then when you need more time to make sure to increase this value.

  So in short; the trick is to make the scripts (which are called by vCAC for a given workflow stage) wait, then you can start a session on your own to run asynchronous code element yourself. However, you will not be able to "break" into a script that is run from the workflow vCAC itself (different session, different processes).

• iOS 10 HomeKit Lock Automation

  I'm sure it's really simple, but I can't find the answer.

  I have an iPhone running iOS 10 6.  If the phone is unlocked I can slide down for Notifications and swipe left to direct access to Widgets.  It's all good.  However, since the lock screen I can swipe left for the camera, or the shot to the center of control, but striking to swipe to access Notifications and Widgets does nothing.

  Is there a setting somewhere that I can't find? Or is it simply not available on the iPhone 6?

  Hi guys,.

  I work on a macbook (which belongs to my boss) and he asked me to give him the password for the session.

  So far, it is quite logical since it is a work computer and not mine itself. But like all mac users, I use iCloud for share my keychain and passwords, so I'm pretty reluctant to give him my password for the session.

  There must be a way to lock the Keyring when the screen is locked so that the next time I log in, and I want to use build-in password management in Safari (for example), the system wonder a password. Is there a way to achieve this?

  Please open Keychain Access via spotlight, take your cursor on the menu bar and select Preferences in the access of the main chain, click on Legeneralonglet.

  To select Preferences Keychain Access, you can also use command-comma

  Select view status of keychain from the menu bar, a padlock icon appears in the menu at the top of the screen bar.

  To lock the screen manually click the padlock icon and choose lock screen.

• Cannot retrieve/reinstall Mac OS Yosemite (No. HD/Locked)

  Before I tried to reinstall Mac OS X Yosemite I erased my Macintosh HD first, but I got an error that I don't remember, after that it's what shows when I click my disk utility on Macintosh HD.

  Your have one messed CoreStorage volume.

  Reboot in Recovery Mode or whatever you used to access the external OS X Utilities menu and launch the Terminal from the utilities to the menu bar selection.

• HP 15 laptop computer omen: Question of graphics - freeze/lock

  I have problems with my graphics I think. I don't know if this is a hardware or a software issue, however.

  After tons and tons of troubleshooting I finally thought to it. I was on the phone with HP when I thought about it. They kept transfer me back and forth between the Department of hardware and software. They have not really help a lot.

  Laptop HP Omen 15 - Windows 8.1

  Symptom: Chart question - freezing/locking up when you play ANY game and when you launch HP performance Advisor.

  Solution: Uninstall Nvidia Graphics Card and Nvidia Ge Force experience. Also everything that said Nvidia in your Add/Remove Programs Control Panel.

  Go to HP and download the Nvidia graphic card on there website to your PC. Do NOT install the driver of Nvidia graphics from the site Web of Nvidia card.

  NVIDIA is currently on 352 or something like that. I downloaded 348 or anything that was on the HP website. Everything works find now. NVIDIA has missed something there put the driver.

  Of NVIDIA Geforce experience will NOT work. What is the best so good solution? Playing games or using the Geforce experience.

• I broke my external hard drive and now it locked and disassembled?

  I just have a lot of questions here. After trying many things I found in a deeper hole.

  I use an external hard drive, it's a Seagate Backup Plus 1 TB external hard drive. It is formatted and partitioned, I did using the steps for me the Web of Seagate site, when I got it.

  I entered the hole, I'm right now because I had backup problems near the top of my photos of Lyve on my external drive. I think the reason why they would not return, it was because my drive was in offline mode in the "Status" section in Lyve, despite the fact that disk utility says the status of the disk is online. I researched and found out that this can happen if a.) the storage is full or b.) the wifi connection is bad or a connection is not available. When I opened my Seagate dashboard, I discovered that my drive was full, so I thought that was the reason. This made no sense to me because there was no way that I had somehow already packed 1 TB, I had saved only once and it is brand new. However, I deleted a ton of pictures I put in 'Lyve Import' and then allowed the trash. (I must have accidentally imported them several times, so the photos doubled several times or something because altogether they are 50 GB, 1 TB not...) That seemed to be the source because then my drive had 938 GB free!... But my drive was always in offline mode.

  So I refreshed, rebooted, unplugged and replugged, returned Wi - Fi works for Seagate Lyve and my computer. But my drive was still offline even though disk utility always says that it is online.

  Now, I'm still trying to find out why, it's that my drive has been appearing offline in Lyve when I used different Wi - Fi connections in different places and they all worked well, and I have lots of storage. One of the reasons is that the partition on my drive has still pictures of Lyve copied import, I had deleted, because there is almost no storage on this score somehow, I suspect. As you can see in the second photo, the score says he has only 16 MB of available space, and I somehow used GB 999.   I am now unable to run Ableton as rewire slave. When I try to open it, I get the following error message:

  «an error occurred when opening melodyne 4 via rewire.» It is probably already in use. to run this program as a reWire slave application, you will need to launch first Live"

  When I click on OK, Ableton is launching in stand-alone mode.

  I first tried opening Live again on his own then restart logic. I have no Melodyne open in an application. I tried Ableton in 32-bit mode and 64-bit versions 9.5 and 9.6.

  Anyone still using Logic 9 has tried recently published Celemony Melodyne 4 with it yet?

  I'm in the seventh year of a huge and reluctant to move to LPX until it is done and delivered, but would really like to take advantage of the new facilities of Melodyne 4.

  I contacted Celemony - their response was they don't officially support LP9 more while they were reluctant to answer one way or the other.

  If I try the trial version it will delete my existing Melodyne 3 and Celemony have also simply deleted their user forum, so I can't ask there.

• How to lock the start of a clip to a specific bar

  I'm working on a soundtrack to a movie, and like most people do this kind of work, I need to work with different tempos. I started with the clip, I placed so that the visual cue would correspond to 5 1 1 1 bar in my project of logic. Is where the music starts.
