• Setup Blackberry plugin on Eclipse error.

  I installed eclipse with the following details of the version on Windows XP:

  Version: Helios Release

  Build id: 20100617-1415

  When I try to install the blackberry plugin, it fails with the following error message:

  Can not complete the installation because one or more required elements could not be found.
  Software: BlackBerry Java plug-in 1.1.2.201004161203 - 16 (net.rim.EclipseJDE.feature.group 1.1.2.201004161203 - 16)
  Lack of requirement: BlackBerry Java plug-in 1.1.2.201004161203 - 16 (net.rim.EclipseJDE.feature.group 1.1.2.201004161203 - 16) requires ' org.eclipse.jdt.debug [3.5.0,3.6.0)', but it is not found]

  Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  I don't know how you got your BB but all OS packages are released to end-users by carriers, not by RIM. All OS packages are available via the official download portal:

  • http://us.BlackBerry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

  Companies to control which packages of OS they currently support, and those that are available through this portal. I don't know what Airtel will accompany you, so I can't guide you either more closely than the full download portal.

  I think the latest version is very slow when you access web pages. I want to return to the previous version to see if it's better. How can I go about changing back?

  To return to the previous secure version which is 3.6.17, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Download Firefox v3.6.17 and upload it to the office.
  2. Then go to add/remove programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and delete it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, etc., the customizations (don't tick the box).
  3. Reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  4. Finally, run the installation file downloaded previously on the desktop.

  Your bookmarks, etc., customizations are stored in a different location and will become available to you even once you complete the installation.

  After completing the installation, go to the Plugins check page and update if necessary.

  However, before go you that route, here are some tips to make it look like the previous version of FF4.

  • Right-click on an empty part of the toolbar tab and click "Tabs on top" to remove the check mark. Tabs later reappears under the search bar.
  • Repeat the same steps, but click on the top of the page, one called 'Menu bar '. This will restore the text at the top links.
  • To rearrange the layout, repeat the same steps and choose "Customize". A Panel opens and who remains on the screen, you can move elements like toolbars, buttons etc. around and place them anywhere you want. You can also drag anything there that you don't like Panel and add anything you want by dragging it out of there.
  • To replace the status bar at the bottom of the page, install this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/

• Lack of previous Versions on CC App

  So I was in need get to an earlier version of After Effects and the Media Encoder, but when I look in the "Previous Versions" tab for the most part, I get only 3 options (photo below as evidence).

  I get the following error message: gone the requested resource / is no longer available on this server and there is no forwarding address. Remove all references to this resource. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument directive to manage demand. IE & Chrome work very well - and the previous version of Firefox (10.0.1) also worked. Looking for a fix or I need to give up Firefox. Thank you.

  Found the problem - it's a HT Access file on the site itself. Deleted the file and 10.0.2 works very well.

  I've upgraded to version 10.3.1.1767 OS and now my company IM no longer works.  No one knows when this will be fixed to Blackberry?  If not, anyone know how I can go back to the previous version of the operating system.  I don't have to worry about losing any information or data that I'm on a company server and I do not save anything on my Blackberry.  Please help - my support is apparantely waiting for Blackberry provide that a fix for this problem and God knows how long it will take.

  There are other alternatives, but they depend on some things...

  If you used the "automatic" methods to perform the update, this process may well have led to a corruption that is the cause (many related things). Or the version you have installed may well have this fault (many report these).

  In any cause, the thing to do is to reload your operating system properly and see if that clears up the problem. Or, update to the really newer version and see if that clears it. The method that I recommend for your situation is autoloader... refer:

  With automatic charger, you can install any OS you can find a valid automatic charger, since regardless cases your carrier has approved or not. You can also use the ADF to return to any level of 'work' OS you want. But, honestly, I recommend you use an auto-loader to install the most recent version, then see if things clear up - if not, then use another automatic charger to retreat.

  I used my Eclipse SDK - 3.5.2 - win32 + BB plugin 1.1 Setup for more than a month without probs either.

  After a minor JRE 1.6 Online updated today, the workspace of Blackberry has simply disappeared without a trace.

  No entry on the menu bar and no BlackBerry option in preferences. Nada.

  Install Eclipse SDK details show that the plugin is actually installed.

  BlackBerry Java plug-in 1.1.2.201003212304 - 12 net.rim.EclipseJDE.feature.group

  So, nothing has been changed in the settings or if it appears.

  I have Eclipse Ganymede 3.4 with the 4.7 version of the plugin installed that I used before and it works great.

  2. If you want to watch Eclipse gets a dialog box error: JVM terminated. Exit =-1 code

  3 edited eclipse.ini file to point to the following location on the computer - virtual

  C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_12\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll

  Please note that http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini suggests C:\Java\JDK\1.5\bin\javaw.exe for the address of the JAVA virtual machine, which did not work in my case.

• Dependency problem with the new Blackberry Plugin for Eclipse

  I just encountered a problem with the new version of the JDE Eclipse Plugin. I set up my application project so that it uses two other projects such as libraries. Both of these projects are on the way to build Java in the settings of the application project, and the manufacturer Eclipse compiles without errors.

  But when I try to run on the Simulator, the application loader throws an Exception stating that it could not find one of the classes listed in library projects. Since it is the importation of first class in the main class, I guess that it was unable to find the entire library.

  I tried to have the application project to import the project two library, but nothing alx files has changed.

  In the old version of the Plugin, there is a property of the project "Blackberry project dependencies" or something like that, which should be set for library and rapc.exe projects and the simulator would be their. That went away, and I was told during Devcon now suffice to add libraries to the classpath. Apparently, this is not so for me.

  Adobe Flash player is already on my computer from IE 8. How can I get Firefox to see that it is already on my PC and use it so I don't have to download it again and possibly create other problems.   Since installing Firefox 9.0.1 YESTERDAY evening on my iMac, which is running OSX v. 10.5.8, Firefox hangs now every few minutes. It often happens that I'm going from one site to the other - when I click on a site referenced to my favorites, Firefox crashes as the following website is coming. I've NEVER had this problem with Firefox before. I need to uninstall it and go back to the previous version of Firefox, but OSX is not a simple routine "back to the previous configuration. Or... Please immediately send a fix for version 9.0.1 (assuming that others have the same problem).

• How To Build exe for previous Versions

  I am a bit new to LabView and still struggilng with all the files associated with a project, so I don't know that it is a simple question.

  I'm under LabView v10 for development, but wants to create an exe that run on a version of the runtime v8.5. I've seen threads that suggests it's as simple as 'Save for the previous Version'... but for some reason I can't seem to make this work. I tried to save the vi for 8.5, then by choosing to build the exe, but to be invited to create a project, I thought it has not saved changes - that the Subvi have been converted to version 10. I tried to reduce the changes and opting to use those memory, but it does not; exe built then gives me a runtime error, complaining that isn't time LV 10.

  I tried to save the project with 'Save for the previous Version', and then construction. Yet once, it works not even if when I opened, and then immediately close or the project, or it contained VI, I thought it has not saved changes where it was converted in LV10 - implying the indeed saved files in LV8.5 format.

  I seem to go along in circles here. What is mind someone on the steps needed to build an exe that run on a previous runtime environment?

  To my knowledge, none of the device drivers of OR may have multiple versions co-exist.  Now, who does not necessarily mean if you use any material that you will encounter problems.  If the material is material OR, then they will also have specific drivers that may be conflicting, but if they are from another manufacturer, it will come down to NI-VISA probably.  If you use data acquisition cards, then you have installed DAQmx.

  As long as your program is not access to these devices, you're OK.  Do not update the drivers if you do not use the equipment.  You need to look for in the relase notes each of the drivers you need to update and see if you can find a version that supports 8.5 and LV2010.

  Even if you do this, it is not 100% guaranteed that you will have problems.  I wrote an application for a client once used OR-DAMA.  I had a control on the front panel, based on a typedef in the pilot.  I've updated my laptop for a new project, but later had to come back and do an update for the original project.  The typedef had changed and caused a recompilation.  Nothing broken on my end.  When I sent the update, it crashed on the PC of the client due to the change of the typedef.  I ended up bringing to upgrade the driver on their machine.

  can't answer the first question that I don't ever use websphere - if you want to use it, you will find a way, if not I suggest you switch to eclipse.
