    Hi, Bob:

Have you installed the required playback blu - ray software?

If you did, then I don't know why the drive can't read the blue ray discs.

If you do not, please try this software.

  • Export of first for Blu - Ray DVD

    Hello

I'm done with work and it's on the first Pro CC 2015 timeline. I want to so I can go in again and do a Blu - ray DVD, export it

I export media, and then choose which setting for Blu - ray? What is the best. H.264 Blu Ray or MPEG-2 Blu - ray? Do I have to change any settings of anywhere to get it to be the highest quality as possible?

    Thank you

You want to use H.264 Blu - ray.   MPEG2 Blu - ray is based on algorithms of compression of 1994.

You can change the rate if you scroll down to the basic video settings pane, but you want to check a bite as rate calculator

  • update my optical drive DVD - RW for Blue Ray

    Hello

I have the HP - dm4. I want to upgrade the optical drive to Ray blue one. Anyone know how to find the correct Blue ray optical drive for the dm4 computer?

    Concerning

Here are the dimensions of the player, 128 (W) x 12.7 (H) x 127 mm (D). The thickness is what may change, but something after 2008 will be 12.7 mm thick. Remove your old drive and I can somewhat guarantee that these dimensions will be the same. The depth is measured with on the cover.

I also did some checking autour and some new very can be even thinner at 9.5 mm thick, check yours and compare with what you're going to buy, but your probably going to be 12.7 mm thick. (thickness is measured at its share of thickness)

  • Driver for blu - ray player

I just bought a drive external blu - ray to my laptop need a driver?

If you need drivers, you can find them on the Web site of the manufacturer Blu - Ray, or they may be included on a CD that comes with it.

    Download drivers

Visit the manufacturer's Web site and select your model (this is usually done in the Support section). You should be able to download drivers for your model if they have drivers for your version of Windows. Download the driver and then follow the instructions to install.

  • Update my DVD player for Blu Ray player which we'll work?

I have a new m7-j120dx HP comes with a DVD player.  I would like to replace it with a Blu ray read/write drive or a blu ray playback.  I understand that the part number is hp 720249-001 or 729728-001.  They are a bit expensive directly at HP.  On ebay there are a few units that would work (requiring only remove the front plate).  Can someone direct me to a list.   My device has a touchscreen.

    Thank you

    Manny

I had the unit today and was having a difficult time figuering how transfer from the front of my HP to the new Blu ray device.  Finally, after realizing that I couldn't remove and transfer the inards, I saw the little clip that contains the dashboard on.  Once I have communicated that the facia jumped easily.  I could transer and it worked perfectly.  So thank you for all your time and effort to help me.

    Kind regards

  • My optiarc cant BD ROM BC-5500 ATA device read blue ray discs, it can only be read normal CD-ROMs. Please help :(

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Always do a job - even in a first time?  If so, pilots may have been replaced by a Microsoft Update and maybe that's why it doesn't work anymore.  Check the drivers and see if there is an option to restore the drivers to a previous version (which may be supplied with the system when he worked).  If so, try the restore and see if that solves the problem.  Make sure that it not only reads blu ray disks but can read and burn CDs and DVDs as it should.  If not you can always just reinstall the drivers by unscrewing the restore and restore the drivers who were there before you started this effort and again to confirm that it still works except for playing blu ray discs.

I don't see the point in HP brake a blu ray player that has no driver available for it - I have never actually heard of what happens with a manufacturer or the device installed on the computers they sell.  Someone at HP left dropped the ball big time on this one.  Maybe HP will give you a free exchange to another blu ray player they may have available for your computer making the drivers for it and who actually works like the one bought you is not - it can't hurt to ask.  Check the options first then you can ask to him who is of at least equal quality and is the same price, or maybe a bit more expensive - they can always be arranged because of the problem, they know exists.  I guess that it's still under warranty, so that shouldn't be a problem.  It's an option-, but the decision is yours.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Video of Amazon for Blu - Ray BDP - S1100 app - no closed captioning

Amazon's site says Sony Blu - Ray readers don't suport not closed captioning during the use of the application to display Amazon Prime or Flash video.  It's disappointing.  Samsung players to do.  Roku makes.

Does anyone know if an updated firmware for the BDP-S1100 add captioning of Sony plans supports to the the Amazon app?

Currently, Bravia Internet video devices (e.g. Blu - ray player) don't support closed captioning (CC) on Amazon® Internet video services. Sony is working with application developers for I hope to bring this benefit to current and future devices BIV.

Unfortunately, we have no information when an update is available, and if that includes broadcast captioning application Amazon.

First of all, I would like to thank in advance anyone who can help me solve this problem.  I've been looking through tutorials, google help on this, and nothing helps, I was not able to get .dts to burn to dvd or blu - ray.  I have all my goods in order and when its time to build the project to dvd/blu-ray all him transcode video fine, but it keeps telling me "not legal .dts to blu - ray" or "not legal .dts to dvd" in other words, all videos are in line, not the sound.

Can someone help me please?  Y at - there a step I'm missing?  Why we say that it is not legal, when documentation indicates that still supports dts?

    Halfpint,

I used SDRS (mainly based on input from Neil Wilkes in those and other threads) without any problem.

I export the PrPro Audio such as WMA with all six streams included. AMM have been transported to Audition for any additional changes, then exported hearing as six discrete PCM/WAV files. In the SurCode encoder, I encode to one. CPT and Import_As_Asset file in Encore. This file is then placed on the Timeline as an additional Audio track, which is accessible via a Menu. Most of the set-top will players also this additional Audio track via the Audio button, but not all. I also usually add some instructions on this selection Menu Audio, or as a title at the end of a first Clip to play, so the user knows that there are choices.

Good luck and attention to all of the comments from Neil Wilkes. There are also a few other discussions on DTS, where Jeff Bellune both Neil Wilkes answered specific questions of mine on the subject. Some of them probably come back before even the previous forum. I have found no, and the little that I found (Google), had links to Adobe. I'm sorry.

  • Satellite Pro P300 best exit way to get audio for blu - ray player or projector

    Hello

Would be great if someone has experience on the following points.

I have a Satellite Pro P300 - PSPCDA 03 P00D: I would like to know the best option for high-quality audio from this unit to a blu - ray player or an optoma projector. (Or a good way to find the answer)

The blu - ray player has hdmi (the satellite does not work) and the optoma projector has a 3.5 mm mini-plug.

The satellite has a sound piece dolby - is it possible to get a feed for audio output dolby?

    Any thought / experience welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Not sure but I think that the headphone socket supports S/PDIF
I think you should check the user manual for more information on S/PDIF
If his support, then you can use it to get the best audio quality

  • Why still burn my project to DVD very well, but it crashes when you export the menus for Blu - ray?

I use Encore CS6, running on Windows 8. How did the menus load properly when rendering of the DVD, but seem to crash when I try to create a Blu - ray player yet? Please note that this also happens when I just creates an image file.

Start with an empty menu from again. Open it in Photoshop then drop all of the assets of the old menu in this new.

    Save and return again.

Do the same for the DVD.

    See how it will work.

  • Popular audio MP3 for Blu ray menus

Hello, I have 3 (720 p) blu ray menus and have associated with each menu to another audio file to play when the user selects the menu. When I saw, all audio tracks play correctly for each menu. After burned, only the main menu play audio while others do not. I created a file during the build process. My preselection is Mpeg - 2. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Welcome to the forum.

Work of some fine MP3, but others are not.

    I always convert a MP3 to WAV/PCM 48 kHz 16-bit and have never had a problem.

Now, as I am often collaborated with DD 5.1 SS, when this is the case, I export in AC3 DD @ 16-bit 48 kHz, and those who have always worked very well also.

Let us know if things work better with PCM/WAV files, instead of these MP3 files.

    Good luck

  • Remote control DVD "skip" function does not work for Blu - ray (Encore CS5) projects

I graduated from SD to HD and I need help.

I just finished my first project HD in CS5, he engraved on a Blu - ray disc and immediately encountered a problem: jump jump forward and backwards remote functions do not work. (I met several other problems on the road to get here, but I solved with the help of the manual and by browsing this forum ). In this project, I am doing exactly what I did in my previous SD projects (where this function works):

    1. In Encore CS5, I added "Chapter Points at intervals... ».
    2. On the timeline in the properties panel, I kept the default selection "Operations: all allowed" (which includes 'Search for chapter' in the menu 'The authorized user Operations').
    3. In the "Project Preview" window, by clicking on the "Next chapter" or "Previous chapter", the function is executed correctly.

However, after burning the blu - ray disc and pressing the buttons "jump back" or "forward" on the remote (Panasonic DMP-BD65) Blu - ray player, the 'Operation not permitted' message. (This very remote button function works on all my SD projects).

More background information: I use also marks chapter to the PrPro project related to Adobe Dynamic Link, chapter marker tips end Actions (Jeff The Focal Easy Guide to Adobe Encore DVD 2.0, pp. 178-180) and the Bill on the use of the 'fade to black' transition to avoid the second ~ 1 the gap between chapters in the Playlist of chapter I use to play all chapters.  This observation can be independent: in the monitor Panel, 'Step Forward' button with the Alt key does not move the CTI to the next GOP brand. The work of functions (without pressing the Alt key) 'Step Forward' or 'Step backward' (move a frame CTI)...

At this point, I desperately need help from the Forum.

    Thank you

    -Laci.

Still must properly set the interval even chapters after the transcoding.

You must say to "Return to the Original" If you do not want retranscode.

Let us know on the chapter playlist in blurary: I think you will find that they do not work. Blu - ray, you must use the method used for SD cards.

  • Advice of HD format for Blu - Ray projects

I'm editing about 30 minutes of images of wildlife for a documentary that I want to back up the Blu - Ray format. The film was shot on a Canon XL - H1A camera and the video comes off the camera as an .mpeg file. My PC is slow and has 2 GB of memory and can not handle the entire project from 30 minutes. The PC grinds stop if I have a project too big. My project is made from many 5-20 second clips with lots of transitions, so I'm changing the project into six sections of 5 minutes, made and saved, and then create a new project and stitch the sections together to burn to Blu - Ray. I did before for SD projects where I saved as DV - AVI files sections, them sewn together, then burned on a DVD project.

My problem is to replicate this process in HD, without loss of quality. If I save the sections such as DV - AVI, they will be converted to SD. I tried to save each section in MPEG HD 1080i format before making the final movie as a new project, but then for the record to Blu - Ray the final movie format there is a net loss of quality compared to the original film. I guess it must be because the movie is recoded to each of the two stages of the rendering. I have re-recorded each section to the 1080i MPEG H.264, created a new project and are sewn together to save on Blu - Ray. The project is rendered but will be night work. I don't know if it will be better.

How can I complete this process in two steps without quality loss?

    Thank you

    Neil

Select the option to share your computer, and then select MPEG2 as your file format, using the output of 30 fps 1440x1080i preset. This should be virtually identical to the video you put in. (you can increase your quality of output a bit by clicking on the advanced to this preset button and raise the level of video quality 4 to 5 You can even do it yourself custom preset for future use.)

And, of course, all this is assuming that you are using the correct HDV project preset. And, if you use the PAL TV standard, use the option of 25 frames per second.

If you are using the appropriate project preset, there will be a line above your clips on the timeline neither red nor green until you add an effect to them.

Although I'm a little concerned that your computer is not powerful enough to work with half-hour or HDV footage. You have a great camcorder from $6,000. Are you sure you want to be editing his video on a marginal machine using a program of $65? At the very least, it would be wise to move to Premiere Pro. (Not that there there my company.)

Occurs only on video files more recent as the old files are synced very well. I was told that I had to use the Plex serverbut that doesn't seem to work with home movies that I use here.
