Losing his helmet

I have Xperia S with the new firmware.

When I plug in the headphones, supplied with the phone, all right. However, if I move the decision-making, even a little very little, the device acts as if I disconnected them. It's annoying because you can't have COMPLETELY supported taking all the time you listen to music.

I tried with another helmet too, and the problem is the same.

Dirty decision cause this complete audio loss even for a microphone signals making movement? (I don't have the phone for very long, since the month of June.)

If you put something in it, make sure that it won't break easily, is no driver (not of metal), be nice and switch the phone off beforehand. Do not use solvents or any type of liquid, as this could damage it.

However, if you see no obvious obstruction, just blow away any dust that could be the cause of the problem.

  • I lost the sound on the speakers of my HP netbook, but I however get his helmet

First, I apologize that it is a repost - I have received notification that someone had replied to my previous announcement, but when I tried to access it today, it was gone! : o

    I have a laptop HP 2140 running Windows XP (32 bit), Firefox 5.0. p/n number is FM839UT #ABA.

Last Sunday, I lost all THE sounds (sound system, music, alerts, etc.) no reason why.  (The only thing I can think that I did was to download a new version of Flash, but its 1) worked after that and 2) I uninstalled Flash several times since then.

Last night, I discovered that I AM getting sound with headphones, but I can't always solve the external noise through built-in speakers of the netbook.

Here are some other things I did to try to resolve the problem:

    • checked to make sure that the speakers are selected, volume works, and that nothing is cut
    • through its programs troubleshooting
    • downloaded and run the Fixit from Microsoft for audio (he made an adjustment, but no other effects)
    • restored the system to several days before losing his (no effect)
    • reloaded the audio drivers on HP website (no effect)

Nothing worked! :(  What can I do else?

Thank you; the problem was in fact through internal speakers of the netbook as mentioned above, there is no problem with them being "plugged."

However, he proved that a loose cable was the problem!  I discovered that when my netbook screen was half closed, I was getting sound.  Then, as I opened it slowly, I lost his approach to the screen by 90 degrees.  The speakers are at the bottom of the screen, and it is obvious that the thread that runs through the hinge that cements the computer to the speakers (I think just in the left speaker, actually) is loose.

So, if I keep the screen at slightly less than 90 degrees, I hear. : p it's annoying, but I'm putting up with it until I can take it to someone who can disassemble for me (I don't feel comfortable to do it myself) and set the connection.

Thanks to all who tried to help me!

  • Buzzing with his helmet Bose

A few hours ago, I decided to use my Bose sound canceling headphones with my iMac, shortly after there was a strange rumbling noise when I turned on the cancellation sound, if I turn it off it's gone. If I touch the metal at the back of the bottom of the iMac with my finger, it stops. I tried my regular helmet and the problem is not in them. The problem also occurs when it is off and doesn't stop if I unplug completely the machine.

Any ideas? It's really annoying and I has not spent $ 2,500 on a massive weight.

Edit: It stops if I'm playing loud noise in the helmet, until I stop and continues to about 20 seconds later.

This does not work in my 21.5 iMac, retina Macbook Pro or MacBook Air.

No need to whine and rant, you have 14 days to return the machine for a reason, you have 90 days of AppleCare support free and a 1 year warranty. Why you are posting on a forum with everything what the support at your fingertips?

  • weird clicking on his helmet? It happens a lot... help?

Hi, I have a sansa fuze and many headphones that I use are some weird noise rattling. I want to know sausing what is the problem.

Without doubt, they are not pushed far enough. This is a common complaint. The "rocket" has a very tight helmet. The first time you use it, you really give the sheet of muscles to flush completely.

After you do, no more "rattling".

  • Notebook Compaq CQ58: Losing his

Often, I lose all the sounds in my laptop after turning off and the only way to recover the sound, I can manage is to do a system restore. Any help appreciated

    Hi @SimonCat

Welcome to the HP Forums! I saw your post about the sound until you do a restore of the system in endangered. I'll be happy to help you with this frustrating problem. When you restore the system do you run all the Windows Update again? It might be an update at the origin of the problem, try turning off automatic updates and install them a few at a time. This third party link will show you how do it.  You can do this to see if it is an update that is causing the problem.

You can also try the troubleshooting steps in this document from HP No. sound from speakers. It should you run the built-in Windows troubleshooting utility. They get no sound when you use headphones?

  • «Get the message at startup...» "Host process for Windows Services has stopped"... and sometimes losing his

I started getting a message every time I boot my laptop Compaq Presario CQ60. Message is "host process for Windows Services has stopped". My speaked symbol now has a red cross I've ever had before. When it turns off I often have not all sounds. I have a feeling that this has happened after an automatic update. I did a system restore, but this does not solve the problem. It's the sound that is most annoying that I never know when or where I will not have it. I hope someone can help

To clarify, the two problems was started at the same time?

Try to perform a clean boot in an attempt to determine the cause of the error at startup:

    Hello

If it works well before? If so, remember to do recent changes on the computer before this problem?

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1:

Disable all sound improvements, then check if the problem persists. Follow these steps:

    a. Open Sound by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type sound, and then click sound.

    b. on the playback tab, click speakersand then click Properties.

    c. click the enhancements tab and then select the check box turn off all the improvements .

    d. If you don't see the tab improvements in the speakers properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

    Method 2:

Check if your headset is set to use as the default value * Communication * device instead of the default device, or if the two devices are configured by default. If so, do the default headphones, so that Windows will use only when they are connected to follow the steps below:

    a. right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select volume control options.

    b. put a check mark on "all devices evolving sound.

    c. make sure you have "Default uncontrolled communication device".

    d. place a check on the speakers and headphones.

Also, follow the steps described in the following link:

Note: this link is also applicable for Windows 7.

Yesterday my computer worked fine. I was listening to music through my headphones. So, today he did not play sound via the headphones. I tried to do everything. I clicked on all that existed. I configured the speakers. I checked if it was cut, which was not the problem. I need help! Sound does not play through the headphones.

    Hi Andie,

Could you let us know if you have tried to connect a different listener to the computer?

I suggest you to set the headset as default device to read the audio data and check.
    a. on the start screen of Windows 8 press the Windows key + X key on the keyboard, then on Control Panel , then hardware and sound.

    b. click on the its. Select the playback tab, right-click in the window and check the Show Disabled devices.
    c. now check if the headphones are listed and do a right click on it and Choose Activate.

    d. Select this headset, and then click set as default.

  • Helmet noise levels don't change or mute. SOLVED

Basically, as the title says, that my rate of helmet cannot change volume in progress, 15, which is annoying. IV run updates, restart and sought solutions which resulted in saying restarts or updated. Someone knows how to fix this? Another point is that I can't even cut my sound headphones or change the balance left and right, all these problems are new and are not the headphones, I tried 4 different helmets and the same things continue to happen.

P.S: Solved the problem re-installed drives his helmet and had to re set the default settings of the device. Not sure if it isn't a permanent solution but it works now.

  • Problem of his Palm t5 (research)

    Hello!

Two days ago my t5 palm stopped play sounds via the internal speaker (his helmet seems to be ok). Posts on this forum say that it is a hardware problem (micro-switch is stuck in a headphone jack). At least in my case, I need a more complex explanation:

-The internal speaker stopped working without any interference in the headphones (I do not plug headphones into the Palm). Most people have this problem after disconnecting the headset.

-J' was able to set my speakers to life by simply plugging in the AC adapter / CC. President Ping with a usual sound and worked for a few hours, that dies again.

-At least twice, I could hear sounds after a hard reset. But only until I tried to launch any application. Then he was silent again.

-As for now, I hear 'clicks' of the speaker when I connect my T5 to hotsync cable and press the hotsync button. Still more - if I have press the hotsync button while the cable is not plugged into the USB port - and wait 30 to 40 seconds, I see a box with the message "hotsync failure" alarm and can hear the sound of the mono speaker alarm Palm. So it is again being mute.

With a background in electronics, I opened the unit and checked the sound elements visible:

-L' speaker is OK, the measured resistance is recommended on the speaker (7.8 vs 8.0 ohm)

    -Points of motherboard are OK

-There is a voltage V 1.68 on the two points vs. the ground, but no difference in voltage between the pads.

-5-pin headset plug seems to be OK. Microswitch pads (two pads on a basis of a Jack) have no resistance measured when the socket is empty and are disconnected when headphones are plugged in.

-J' have tried to short-circuit buffers with external cable - but no effect dip switch - sound is always redirected to the helmet.

-J' tried to connect the internal speaker to the headphone channel. It works, but the rate of release of palm is unacceptable (headphones are devices to 30 ohms, and I believe that internal speaker is connected through some elements of energy saving).

I'm completely perplexed with my problem of his palm. This may not be a pure hardware problem as he plays sometimes a few sounds via mono speaker. But if this is a problem in a software - how in hell, he survives device resets?

    Any ideas?

    Hello!

Indeed, the problem was multiple connector. It seems that cable flat keyboard connection and connector multiple base with a main card had isolation deteriorated between some of his sons and a surface of steel on the base. Now, I remember that some time ago my Palm was irregularly to hot-sync mode even when the hot sync cable was not plugged.

After that I put a piece of insulation between the metal base and a flat cable (which covers the hard edge of the base metal) mono speaker returned to life. Please put this in a FAQ or KB if possible.

It would be nice for palm-engineers (if palm still has some) to build a utility program that allows the user to select the device audio default substitution of the system. See cool head for treo on sourceforge (does not work on palm t-series).

    Thank you!
