  I'm trying to do a factory restore on your laptop model HP-g011ca running Windows 8.1 and the admin password has been lost. Let contact me. The system has been set up by someone who had no idea how to make an installation program and do not bother to read none of the screens through the installation program

  This model comes with a 1.8 GB restore partition.

  I was wondering if I can remove the hard drive and delete the Windows folder (or all folders), I would be able to do a restore of the system from the recovery partition?

  If so, what would be the steps?

  Oh... If there is an easier way to do this, I would like to know.

  No.  The recovery partition is not default bootable. If you play with or modify files within the partition, it will work as expected.

  You can use a live bootable Linux usb to access GParted and assign to the active recovery partition. Once it's done, you can leave Linux (I use Ubuntu) and then restart your laptop. It should boot straight into the Recovery Manager.

  You can change your current password as follows:

  1. click on start.
  2. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
  3. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
  4. click on "run as Administrator".
  5. type the following command and press ENTER after each:

  I'm under 27 "iMac, mid 2011, OSX 10.8.3. When I try to install Photoshop, I am prompted to enter my Admin password. The password is accepted, but MAO told me that the installation failed because "administrator privileges are required for installation." One account on the Mac and it's the admin.   Press ALT + F10 at startup, it will launch Acer erecovery and re-install the operating system.

  Which essentially restores the registry from a backup copy kept with the files in system restore.  In part 2, select a dated folder until you have had this problem to copy the registry of the.  Personally, I find it is easier to start from free Linux Livecd like Knoppix , in which case you can start the procedure in part 2, step 6 using Linux and paste to copy files to their desired location.  Live CD of Linux has no problems with dealing with the status of "Super hidden" System Volume Information folder.
