  I hope this is the right forum - cannot find a specific to Outlook Express, my mail server.
  I was asked recently to compact my emails, to save space and did.
  Apparently, I did not notice a check mark which allowed the removal of the most recent messages.
  Now, I've lost all those received & sent during the last 3 months. The before and after April-May are always accessible.

When I went to O.E.6 to read some old emails, there are NOT, well there are 40 different types of emails were sitting in front of access to my documents. Apparently, all emails, both current and past the Outlook Express 6 have been removed. The e-mail address I see is now a single when open O.E.6. My questions are; (1) how it happened? .... I never deleted the boxes O.E.6, i.e. "deleted items", "Outbox" including "in-field". (2) how to recover/restore all e-mails lost after removing some of the e-mails to my Document?  "Trash," I restored actually one or two files by right click,... but where are they now?
