  Deactivation of the OCSP protocol would mean that Firefox can accept as valid a security certificate that has been revoked, so it would be best to find a way to solve this problem, rather than disable OCSP. But if you absolutely must enter certain sites as soon as POSSIBLE, it would be an option.
