Hello

There are two options available.

  1. You can order a set of replacement of the recovery media using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

Order HP recovery disks.

  1. Download the file to Image of Windows 8 on the following link - Note that this Image file is subject to a ceiling of download, you may need to try over a period of a few hours before the download starts correctly.

https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0W9PBigPy94aVJWSndyTFNFMzg/edit?PLI=1

If you need a utility to create a flashdrive bootable for this Image, try the free app below.

http://Rufus.AKEO.IE/

The product key for Windows 8 is encrypted in your bios chip and read automatically during installation.

Software extra and you may need drivers are by entering your full model number or Nr here.

Kind regards

    Hello

You should not have a password to reinstall Vista.

Microsoft prohibits any help given in these Forums for you help bypass or "crack" passwords lost or forgotten.

Here's information from Microsoft, explaining that the policy:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-security/keeping-passwords-secure-Microsoft-policy-on/39f56ef0-5d68-41AD-9daa-6e6019c25d37

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Windows updates installed and now I can not start vista normally

Hello, I have a problem starting my OS after windows updates to install. I have a laptop Dell Studio 1737 running Windows Vista SP1 x 64

I installed the windows updates and they are normally installed on the closed part (steps 1 and 2 of 3) but the computer restarted once he ran Microsoft Corporation with the Green loading bar animation. He hung there for quite a long time as usual but I thought it had to do with updates. so after that the animation, the screen off, turned back on and it was completely black. a mouse jumped out for about 10 seconds, then disappeared. I noticed that the hard drive light stopped flashing and there is no other activity after that. CTRL-Alt-Del does nothing. So I had to hold the power button and restart. This time I used Safe Mode to let it boot. He traveled the drivers being loaded and hung up "pilot charge: \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys ', but eventually started. After starting, it linked the part "Configuring updates step 3 of 3" 0% to 100% and then just stood there and the mouse began to blink. Yet once, there was very little hard drive being indicated by light activity. After 5 minutes, it was clear, he was not any progress made by letting it continue. Yet once, forced another shut down.

I repeated the process with the same results from the point to let start normally to force stop and meet at configuring updates step 3 of 3 to 100% but frozen in safe mode. I was perplexed what to do because I could not access the computer at all even in SafeMode! I forced the closing down and grown up recovery tools and tried to startup repair. has nothing. I tried the system restore. It is interesting that told me I had NO restore points and yet I had just installed one small not updated but there is 30 minutes. Also, I can't imagine there is no restore point after having owned this laptop for almost 4 years. I took to my faithful Tablet for some Google-ing in depth on this particular issue in the hope of finding a solution. Well, I came across an article that leaves me at least cancel the thing trying to get up-to-date and freezing. It required that use you recovery command prompt and delete the C:\Windows\winsxs\pending,xml file. After the reboot (in safe mode) Finally I could connect and access my files save them! Finally! only it isn't the end of the problem. I still cannot start normally. to do this, the above-mentioned actions of when I try to boot normally.
I tried so much google - lies about different things, it might be and who either do not resolve problem or steps they indicate to tell me to change a registry entry to something which in my machine is already what they say before it takes. Also, I can't uninstall updates because the windows update program does not open in safe mode. I have run chkdsk and nothing. I stopped everything to boot at startup, with the exception of microsoft. I uninstalled any program that can run at startup. I ran an anti-virus (Avast & Norton separately) and lift you own. I have a ntbtlog.txt I can post if necessary. honestly, I don't know where to turn at this point, except for here. If no luck here ill get my backup files, take my computer to a local store and have them diagnose or if worse comes to the worst case, a clean format and reinstall that is not presented.
Thank you for any advise on this issue, as I don't know what to do next.

What I did I tried to disable the network, modem and audio drivers. It took time, but start normally thereafter, but he made a strange (and continuous) boot process he never has ever done before. Once in normal mode, I started to allow the drivers one by one and it turned out to be one for the audio driver to date. During this audio driver was activated it will disable all entries as the trackpad, keyboard, USB and particularly hard drive! so it would freeze almost instantly after activation there and closes one forced would be necessary. Device Manager Microsoft told me this audio driver was updated, but it wasn't. The company that provided the audio drivers had changed the names through the merger or buyout, or something and the new audio drivers were under the new name. A very strange situation.

I had to search around and eventually find the latest drivers for my system setup and audio on dell's website, and it said it was a "Recommended" update This update of the driver should be mandatory if you want to continue using your computer! It is one of the most used audio dell service providers! Why he would only recommend?
In any case, thank you Jeremy for your time and help!

  • Restore Windows 8 Pro for factory installed Windows 8

I didn't know that it would be necessary to purchase a new license from the one I had already purchased when I upgraded a laptop from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8 Pro when I used install them new features in a new desktop PC Control Panel to upgrade inadvertently from the factory installed Windows 8 , Windows 8 Pro. How to back up Windows Pro for the factory installed Windows 8 which is what I need. Thank you.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 8 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Samsung: Press the F4 key to the Samsung logo when you turn first.

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

  • Back to Vista after Non - Genuine Windows 7 installed

I bought a computer compaq laptop and I have Windows Vista installed in it. a few days back colasped, I took the laptop to a guy, he has installed a pirated version of Windows 7.

Now I want to go back to my windows vista I guess it was home edition. I did not make any recovery of widows earlier disc, but I have the product key for activation windows with me.

Kindly tell me how to recover my Vista Home back on my laptop.

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Clean Windows 7 install on questions of activation U500-1hd

    Hello

I have a problem with my newly purchased 1hd U500 laptop. I didn't like the way the Manager auto partitioned hard drive, so I went ahead and all the formatted partitions and divide them according to my needs. The problem is that the laptop, even if it came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, had no Windows 7 install cd/dvd or any other ultility cd/dvd. I went and downloaded a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit Microsoft MSDNA, installed, but when I try to activate it using the cd - key on the sticker on the back of the laptop, it says invalid cd - key.

I rechecked the cd - key, and I wrote it down correctly. It says on the sticker Windows 7 Home Prem OA. Do I need a special kit of Win7 or something?

    Thanks in advance.

See [how to replace lost, Broken, or lack of Microsoft Software or Hardware | http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=326246] were MS say contact Toshiba.

I don't know if W7 will allow this, but you used to be able to leave the key field blank and click next to install. You need to activate windows within 30 days, and at this point, there was a phone activation option. Try this option and MS can provide a new key or suggest you only send their proof of ownership. I just download Winguggle to see that my product key does not match the label of laptop - it is possible that activation of MS has changed and the program will not

Follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.

Method 1: I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player using the Windows features turn on or off.

See the following for more information Microsoft article:
