Lost Windows Vista logon password and cannot go beyond the windows login screen.
I don't have a password to logon to start windows vista. It is disc did not use in the event that the connection has been lost. I tried to reload Windows XP from a cold start, but it is said that it does not find the hard drive. The system disks were inadvertently discarded. Is there a way to overcome the opening of the window. This machine was a gift and the recipient could not use it. It's a Sony Vaio VGN - NR100E SERIES. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Getting Vista:
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
You can also make recovery disk/s since the Partition of recovery in case of hard drive failure or System Crash, when you are in service again.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

I replaced the old password used to connect to e-mail to [email protected] last night (Monday, 3 August 14). I went to connect to email this morning and it wouldn't recognize new or old password. It kept giving me an error message that pop.server has not identified any username and/or password and access is denied. Use your tools section reset password and it is not always grateful. (And for some strange reason, I deleted Portal Manager password which showed passwords for this system. Any help to get into the system and correct my incompetence will be greatly appreciated. Tecra M2: Vertical lines appeared and cannot go beyond the Toshiba screen
I was watching a movie on DVD WIN and froze my TECRA M2 I restarted, I noticed blue vertical lines on the windows on the screen, then the loading screen went white, I restarted the pc and it Gauthier go beyond screen black screen of toshiba. Some people told me that it is the other HDD VGA. What do you think?
Hello
For me, it certainly looks like the graphics card failure!
It's really bad, because for the most part to the whole motherboard must be replaced! :(
But to be 100% sure the diagnostic test is necessary.I think you should contact the ASP in your country. Guys to explain the situation and ask for clarification.
Maybe your warranty is valid? In this case all replacements would be FRO free!
Usually the guarantee must be valid for 24 months if you have saved this notebook on the Toshiba page.concerning

CANNOT ACCESS VISTA BY XP AND CANNOT ACCESS XP SINCE VISTA WITHIN THE SAME NETWORK MACHINE
I'm using vista Business. while I try to view other machines with the same working group in the same network... My machine only manifests itself in the network... No, other machines are available... and will have remote desktop also does not work if I have an address user name and password and IP address of the remote computer running xp... Help me.
Hi NIRAJ KARKI,.
You can't use Remote Desktop connection to connect to remote computers running Windows XP.
This package contains the Link Layer Topology Discovery () LLTD Responder. The network map on a computer running Windows Vista presents a graphical view of the computers and devices on your network and how they are connected using the LLTD protocol. The LLTD Responder must be installed on a computer that is running Windows XP before it can be detected and appear on the network map. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.
I suggest to install Layer Topology Discovery LLTD Responder (KB922120) (Link) and check if the problem is resolved.

I get the windows login screen and I do not know the password for administrators
I accidentally deleted my account and when the computer starts and I get the windows login screen and I do not know the administrators password. Also how can I reinstall windows when I got a disc when I brought my laptop. Thank you, Lorraine
Thanks for getting back to me. I sold my old laptop to my son-in-law, and he asked me to remove my name from the computer off so that my name wasn't on the screen all the time. so I deleted the profile of cook of lorraine and made one for him, but I didn't give it a password. then I realized what I had to do (I got Lorraine where time is on the bottom of the screen), but was unable to highlight to remove it without a mouse. so I plugged a mouse, but the computer does not read, then I restarted the computer. When I restarted, all I could get was the windows login screen.
then I typed in the name son-nlaws and they said that he was kidnapped, tyoed in mine and got the same and then typed in Administrator, but did not know the password. I have since reinstalled windows. XP Professional would not install saying a file was missing, so I installed xp family and is working again. He just has to click on what edition it wants to run. Professional XP of course happen just with the display of connection... but it can use again.Thank you once again, Lorraine -

No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
are a few others. You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.
Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.

Mouse and keyboard does not not to login screen (Windows 7)
As far as I know, an update of windows was held last night. When I try to log on to my office (gateway), my keyboard and mouse (Logitech M310 K520) do not work. I tried to connect in safe mode, but still no luck. I can press F8 before it connects to enter advanced startup options. I went in the selection 'repair your computer', and my mouse and keyboard work fine. I tried a system restore, run the Diagnostics, memory windows and tried several reboots, but without any difficulty. I have tried other mice, tried different USB slots, but all have the same problems. They work very well until what the login screen and then do not respond.
Please let me know what are my options to resolve this problem. Would like to try more things on my own first of all, but I'm a bit of a novice in computer science.Hello
