Lower power mode

Is there any problem in leaving the power down, even if the battery is completely charged?

There is no "problem" to do, but the functionality will be slightly reduced.

  • low power mode is on but the battery is full

My Iphone 5 c run 9.3.1.  When I switch on the low power mode, it restricts my auto-lock to 30 seconds (it is grayed out).  The problem is with the low power mode on, my battery availability is 98% (appears in yellow), but the low power mode should be committed only to 20% or decrease of availability.  How do I fix it so low power does not come on until I get low on battery reserves?  Thank you!

No matter how much energy batttery you left, if you activate the Low Power mode, the indicator lights yellow. My iPhone 5s has 80% battery left and I turned on the low power and the yellow light.

  • Activate App stuck on waiting and power Mode low does ' t

    Hi all

I have at least two concurrent problems with my iPhone 6 + iOS 10.0.2 (but started with iOS 9).

I can't install new application directly from the App Store on the phone because they were stuck in the phase of "pending". Same behavior of update of the applications that are already installed.

The only way to update/install the app's iTunes download and synchronize.

The other simultaneous problem is in what regards the activation of "low power mode" with the rocker switch (settings > farm > Low Power). Whenever I try to activate (manual or automatic 20% of battery) function, the gray toggle becoming in the Middle, then return to the OFF position.

I already have backupped & restored several times, but nothing has changed.

    How can I solve this?

    Thank your

    Best regards

    Hello Axoduss,

Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple. I see that you have two problems. One is that the low power Mode is not activated, and the other is that updates and new applications are blocked pending. I know that I rely on my iPhone for everything. It is important to ensure that it works as expected. I'll be more than happy to help.

Great job to the backup of your phone and restore. It's a great way to help solve these issues.

If you are restoring from a backup, the problem may be in the back upward. I recommend to reset the phone to factory settings and set up like new to see if the Mode low power and installing apps works. If this does not work after the installation in the new and not after the restoration then you want to restore your data manually and not market back. Here is an article on setting up the phone as new:

  • Low-power audio turn off mode

Recorded a few videos in mode low consumption. There is no audio signal in one of them. Low-power audio turn off mode? I'm a new user of iPhone still learning on the dev

    Hello taneikab,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that videos created on your iPhone in low power Mode are missing audio. I know his is a very important part of videos. I'm here to help get this resolved with you.

Low power mode disable audio, so you should be able to hear sound on records. I recommend that you test your microphone using the instructions and images in the link below.

If the microphones work, but the problem persists, restart your iPhone. This can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow the steps below to restart.

    1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
    3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

  • Is it wrong to have the mode low power still?

My iPhone 6 has a battery OK, but I always tend to activate the low power Mode even if my phone is 100% thinking that it will last much longer. Is this damage or... on my battery life in the bad sense? Should I just activate the LOM when my iPhone is 20%? Thank you

Of course, it is not bad. Why would Apple design and make a feature available on their devices if it would hurt?  They would not, so use mode low power when you want it.

  • Mode low power - indicator light flashes

    Hello

Could you please tell me if this is normal whereas my printer (HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw)

is in low power mode after auto power down, the light will blink endlesly?

Can I turn off the light somehow?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @Viktor_Cs ,

I see you want to know if the light should blink when the printer is in low power. I can help you with this.

I think that the printer will keep flashing when the printer is in mode low power, to indicate that the printer is not extinguished. The printer will return to a State loan when it receives a wake event. No options to turn the flashing off the coast.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a wonderful day!
    Thank you.

  • mode low power does not work

After you have reinstalled Windows XP on my desktop data certified, low-power option does not appear in the Power Options in the control panel or the display option "pending" in the case of Windows XP is faded and does not work. Is there a solution for this. I have re-installed, and he always does. Could this be something to do with the battery?

    Solve you this problem?

If you don't it has not set, you must provide the rest of the information - especially this part:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click OK, and when the system info summary appears, click Edit, select all, copy and paste then return here.

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete it.

  • Warning of low power for AIR-LAP1242AG-C-K9

    Hey Buddie,

We bought a few AIR-LAP1242AG-C-K9, but not perchasing no matter what wireless controller. When I connect the TOWER to the port of Cat2950 or Cat2960 TRP, all the TOUR cannot start normally. It shows low power, please consult the attached two images. But if I use the external power cable, the TOUR can work well. So, I would like to know two things.

    1. can I use stand-alone TOWER without using the controller?

    2. If the above is Yes, how can I configure the PPoE on cat2950 to TURN Support correctly?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Jian,

    Q. can you a RIDE operate independently of a wireless LAN (WLC) controller?

    A. No, towers may operate independently of the function WLCs. tours in conjunction with a WLC only. The reason is that the WLC provides all the configuration settings and the firmware that the TOUR needs in the process registration.

So you will need to return the AP and download the version of IOS, buy a WLC or convert the TOWER to IOS :(

    Q. how to distinguish between a regular (standalone) AP and a TOWER?

    A. the best way to distinguish between a regular access point and a TOWER is to look at the reference number of the AP.

LAP (AP light Protocol [LWAPP])? The numbers always begin with AIR-LAPXXXX.

Autonomous AP (Cisco IOS? Software)? The numbers always begin with AIR-APXXXX.

This doc. good Q and A

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/HW/wireless/ps430/products_qanda_item09186a00806a4da3.shtml

You can convert an access point of the mode light return to autonomous mode by loading a Cisco IOS version that supports stand-alone mode (Cisco IOS release 12.3 (7) JA or earlier version). If the access point is associated with a controller, you can use the controller to load the version of Cisco IOS. If the access point is not associated with a controller, you can load the version of Cisco IOS using TFTP.

By using a TFTP server to revert to a previous version

Follow these steps to return mode LWAPP stand-alone mode by loading a version of Cisco IOS using a TFTP server:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1 the IP address of the computer on which the server software runs TFTP should range from 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.30.

Step 2 make sure the PC contains the file access point (for example, c1200-k9w7 - tar.122 - 15.JA.tar for a 1200 Series access point) in the TFTP server folder and the TFTP server is activated.

Step 3 Rename the access point image file in the folder of the TFTP server c1200-k9w7 - tar.default for a series of 1200 point, c1130-k9w7 - tar.default of access for a series of 1130 access point and c1240-k9w7 - tar.default for a series of 1240 access point.

Step 4 connect the PC to the access point using an Ethernet category 5 cable (CAT5).

Step 5 disconnect the power to the access point.

Step 6 push the MODE button and hold the button while you reconnect power to the access point.

Step 7 hold the MODE button until the status of the LED turns red (approximately 20 to 30 seconds), then release.

Step 8 wait until restarting access point, as indicated by the LEDs become green followed the status LED flashes green.

Step 9 after the access point reboots, reconfigure using the GUI or the CLI.
