LR 6 - develop the working module display - aqua

I installed LR6 on a new Dell laptop, latest version 10 of Windows. Import images and the library functions work well but when I open the tab to develop the framework where the image appears normally happens as a uniform frame green/blue aqua filled with no image at all.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall but no luck.  When I installed an earlier version of LR5.7, it works very well, so I suspect that there is an incompatibility between my version of LR6 (although I downloaded the current version) and version 10 of Windows on my laptop.

Any suggestions?

Hi Alan,

This seems to be because of the graphics processor.

Go to the Lightroom preferences > Performance > uncheck "use the graphics processor.

    Hello world!!!

performance of this machine... do you agree with me?

    Thank you very much

As far as I know, hardware upgrade on W100 is very limited and I didn t find any info on the upgrade of RAM. Specifications W100 should have 2 GB of RAM and with the right configuration of the OS, it should be quite enough.

Please note: W100 is not classic notebook and upgrade is very limited on this little toy.

  • Develop the disabled module. Please renew the membership to reactivate.

I have the same problem as others on the forum. I followed the advice to go to/Library/Application Support / Adobe... etc to clear the Cache of the files, but cannot see the files SLCach or SLStore listed. I have cleared my cache with MacKeeper (not sure if it does the same thing). I am Member CC Subscriber and downloaded Lightroom 5.5 with the Desktop Manager. The problem just started yesterday, was fine before this date.

    What else can I try?

    Thank you very much. Jackie

    OK, its fixed!

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond, both for your suggestions.

Correct: I opened my old Lightroom 4 (where the Module development work).  This makes the Cache files are displayed.  I then deleted 5 reopened Lightroom, signed again and voila - it worked.

Now very happy and much more relaxed. Back to my deadlines...

  • DEVELOP THE DISABLED MODULE - LIGHTROOM 5

I'm so frustrated. I tried to talk to someone from adobe on the phone and they told me these stupid forums, which were not useful.

I just happily editing photos in lightroom yesterday and this morning I wake up and cannot change my photos because the develop module does not work.

I do not have the creative cloud subscription and I am perfectly fine with lightroom 5 that I had forever and now it does not work.

all the forums that I reviewed are not useful. I rebooted, resigning in and everything. I do not download the cc version, mine says same "lightroom 5' at the top.

I fear that all my information is missing, and I'm not even sure I have access to my serial number more.

How can I solve this problem and get into my module to develop? I can't spend another two hours working on this. This is ridiculous.

    can someone help me?

[Left generic Cloud/Setup forum for forum specific program...] MOD]

The type of license is creative cloud, so if you have not paid the subscription, it does not work.

You must enter your serial number Lightroom 5 so that you no longer have the CC license, but rather the stand-alone license.

I'm not 100% sure how do that Lightroom 5, I don't have it anymore, but I'm sure you can understand. In my view, that there is a Register command under the menu help.

I just renewed my monthly membership for 9.99 per month.  Unfortunately, I am not able to use the develop module.  He told me to buy a membership or license to reactivate the menu to develop.  Any guidance?

    Hi joeyt,.

Logout and sign from the desktop application cloud creative to refresh the license on your machine files.

Otherwise, you can follow the discussion below: Lightroom 5.5 'Module Development disabled, please renew your membership'

Let us know if that helps.

  • Develop the disabled module.

I have been using Lightroom on two Windows computers. All of a sudden, I get a message on one of the computers that the development module is disabled. My subscription is up to date, so I don't know why this is happening. I deleted the program from this computer and installed again through the cloud. I still have the same problem. How can I solve this problem?

  • Library and develop the views differ

    Hello world

I have observed that the view from 1:1 to a photograph library stands 1:1 view to develop the same photograph. This photograph has been processed in various ways, including using the adjustment brush to remove the saturation and clarity in the box to the left of the boy running, where appears an undesirable human figure (this is not the last setting made for photography). The library view does not show the effect of this stage of development, so the view to develop shows clearly. Here are excerpts from two points of view 1:1 (library view at top, seen to develop at the bottom):

    ScreenHunter_01 Nov. 11 12.45.jpg

    ScreenHunter_02 Nov. 11 12.46.jpg

I also note that the display of the library is not as sharp as the view to develop. I really expected the two views are identical, but they are not.

    Anyone else seen this?

    What is wrong where?

Any help, explanation will be appreciated.

    -Technical information:

    Lightroom version: 3.5 [775451]

Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (Build 2600)

    Version: 5.1 [2600]

    Application architecture: x 86

    System architecture: x 86

    Physical processor count: 4

    Processor speed: 2.4 GHz

    Built-in memory: 3326,1 MB

Real memory for Lightroom: 716.8 MB

Real memory used by Lightroom: 260.3 MB (36.3%)

Virtual memory used by Lightroom: 579,9 MB

    Memory cache size: 63.9 MB

    System DPI setting: 96 DPI

The differences between library and develop views have been discussed (warmly).

In essence, the library module displays a preview that is created in Adobe RGB (and saved in the jpeg format, I think).  It is updated only when LR think something is changed.  The development module is always rendered on the fly to ProPhoto RGB.  This should be more specific, but to save the treatment it some shortcuts are taken.  For example, sharpening and struggle against noise are not always displayed for the low ISO images except in the 1:1 (the logic that it saves time and noise/sharpening cannot be judged except 1:1 anyway).  Search the forum for many happy arguments on the merits of this.

Try turning off the GPU. Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance (Lightroom > preferences > Performance on a Mac) and uncheck the box use Graphics Processor.

  • Intelligent previews does not work in the library module, but visible in the develop module

    Hello

Essentially in the title, I get a blur and a "loading" message that complements never completely in the library module that I zoom... but when I visit the development module that it loads very well as I zoom 100%. Could there be a problem with the smart preview files? someone sent me these lr db of for me to work on locally/offline, so I don't have access to the original files. How can I fix it?

    Hello

Sorry for not update earlier - the customer told me that download may be stopped somehow, which probably explains why it does not completely load.

  • Develop settings not displayed in the library module

Recently, I noticed that some of my develop settings are not reflected in the library module.

I have the most obvious example is a picture with a radial filter which seems to disappear just when I move to the library.

When I export the image JPG applied development settings.

It is not just this image that is affected, it is only the most extreme example.

I have a very slight change to offensive images (new crop) and they are now the same in the library and to the point!

  • After upgrading to LR 6.2 G (grid mode) command shortcut does not work in the library module. How to fix?

After upgrading to LR 6.2 G (grid mode) command shortcut does not work in the library module. It works well to return to the grid when in the develop module. The problem was not resolved with LR 6.2.1.

PS: Being a urser LR since 2008 I hate the new import dialog so I have stopped using the program and will do so until the classic dialogue is back. Or it won't and I should start looking for alternatives?

    Rune

One number of others have experienced this problem - please add your vote and details of this bug report in the Adobe official feedback forum: Lightroom: keyboard shortcut 'G' does not not in the library module.

A few others have reported that restart the computer immediately after resetting preferences seems to fix the problem.  Also note that you can use the ESC key to exit the view library Loupe return to the display of the grid.

  • develop the module does not not in 5.7.1

Hi, my development ambient light module has stopped working, the image displayed on the screen is an image of lower than the actual image resolution. I installed the canon eos utility on my computer but I'm not sure if the module development had stopped working before that. I am 8.1 windows program. I tried to uninstall the prgram but it makes no difference. The problem could be to do with paths between the program and the storage, so I am not in computers in simple terms would be useful.

    Thank you, Colin.

Indeed, it seems not a problem of location of files.

    Try these 2 actions:

    (1) reset the preferences file

    -tur off Lightroom

    -go to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\

    -Save this file

    -Remove

    -Restart Lightroom

    (2) check the color profiles

try to check if your monitor's color profile is sRGB or if you have an it management application. Sometimes, there are incompatibilities between versions of ICC profiles
