LR CC develop Module questions

Hi all... I write today as I just ran into this issue with the develop module. I have the photographers of CC version that is installed on my machine main home as well as my laptop to the mobile edition. I got the apps installed and working well for a long time. Recently, I upgraded my laptop with a newer machine (I7 Windows based). I logged into my account on my old laptop and machine at home so that I could log on the new laptop. I connected successfully on my machine at home as well as the new laptop. I even edited photos on both machines. A few days ago, I tried importing and editing photos on my laptop. They have imported and I can see them in all the modules in Lightroom, but module development now as completely pink picture area. I rebooted and registered in and the question remains.

I have attached an image showing the problem and system information. Any help would be appreciated.

I am a new user of LR.  I have an iMac, OS 10,10,4 and CC PS and LR CC versions.  I really like quick settings that can be made in the develop module.  When these adjustments are transferred to the original photo or the do, they are transferred.  I make the adjustments in LR and then look at the image in the Finder and nothing has changed with the original and there is no copy of the original...  When I opened the photos in PS, it's like start over with the adjustments.  What I'm doing or not doing correctly?

    Thank you.

This is the concept of LR - not destructive.

Your originals stay intact. To view the results with an external program, you need to export, where your changes are "cooked."

  • Develop module, 1:1 and export don't look the same, color questions

    Hello world

I use the latest version of Lightroom (3.6 if I'm not mistaken) and I am facing a problem very uncomfortable with the develop module.

I adjusted with precision each luminance of the color and saturation, so it looks pretty good in the preview to develop (made to fit) and did an export...

The preview that I worked on and export just don't look the same.

I work with files my DSLR digital D3100 from NIKON on an OSX Mac NAVE 10.7 MBP.

This may be the external display profile is not properly adjusted because I looked at all the images on the same screen.

I unchecked all boxes from the preset in the settings window tab.

Here are some screenshots and exports.

Good look in the module development (left) and the actual export of the same photo (right)

    Screen Shot 2012-01-27 at 17.32.06.PNGexport.jpg

Please note that I have not activated an option for correction of lens and adjusted any color. This is the RAW file and its direct export.

Screenshot of the preview window on the noise correction options (left) and the same area once as I zoomed in the main view (right)

    Screen Shot 2012-01-27 at 17.41.24.PNGScreen Shot 2012-01-27 at 17.41.30.PNG

I hope this can be fixed or I'm doing something wrong.

A few days before today I used Camera RAW of PS CS5 to correct my NAVE and maintaining only to exports to JPEG. I decided to use LR 3 on my entire workflow and I'm skeptical...

Ah yes and please forget all mystake alone in my post, I'm a french student.

    Thank you!

EDIT: I can meet any required file or the screenshot if necessary. I have a few other photos with the same problem (lots of those indeed...)

EDIT 2: I found the image has made many more colors acurate (relative to export ones) in the library preview module (magnifying glass I guess)

The previews in the library are are on JPEGs in a smaller color space.

adobeRGB. Not in prophotoRGB, which is space (with linear gamma, but which)

is a detail) used to develop. To make the point, you see the more accurate color

in general, but you must be aware that not all destinations can actually

reproduce these colors. There is also still the color noise reduction

question, you can only see to develop at the 1:1. In the library, because it is

made a jpeg file, the color noise reduction is applied at each zoom

level images etc. like this, which tends to desaturate the colors. My guess

is that this is probably a problem of range. You can check receives in

Photoshop for adobeRGB profile. The orange on the trees is probably

    always out of gamut.

That said, how do you calibrate? You should use a Spyder, Huey Pro,

i1Display, Colormunki or similar to calibrate the screen if you want to

    believe what you see.

I'm new (2 days) to lightroom.  I have a question that is not addressed in the FAQ.

  • Move image image in the develop module slowed down considerably in the last version of LR

I am a user of long date LR and use a fast PC Win10 (32 GB DDR4 RAM, SSD, GT 740 video discs, CPU i7 etc.) and the last LR update (or is this the one just before it) has radically changed the speed I can go from one image to the image in the develop module.

I read about a memory leak problem but with 32 GB DDR4 memory 2133 speed I never noticed the RAM usage (perhaps 25%?) so I don't think that is the question.  Something has changed in LR and Adobe to remedy.  The downturn is really affecting my work and I make my living in this way! Adobe, please help us!

Try to uncheck the option preferences > performance > CPU graph use.

  • Different exhibition in the library and develop Modules

I am new to lightroom, but have spent a lot of time playing with Lr and Googling trying to solve this one

I always tried to Lr2015cc and am currently on the latest 2015.2.1

Question has existed with original version-1st downloaded, installed in August 2015

    Camera Nikon D750

When you export to JPEG image has the same appearance as the rendering in the library Module - with the help of the external viewer for the file exported

This creates problems as the develop module, is where you can make the adjustments most of development

In general library module is overexposed and overly yellow compared to the develop Module

This problem occurs with both files JPEG and NEF (Raw) files and is not unique to the files of a camera

Other users I've talked to have not reported a difference bewteen visible 2 modules? old version of the software if

I am aware that I look at the preview images when using RAW files

It is very difficult to develop pictures when what you see is not what you get export

While I will be material calibrate my monitor soon it clearly isn't a fix for this problem that I do the comparisons on the same screen

I can only assume that this is a recent bug that there is no obvious reason to have 2 different renderings of the image

Anyone solved the problem? Is put there I missed? Is there a solution?

While I will be material to calibrate my monitor soon

Go ahead and do it now, you probably have a broken monitor profile.

As troubleshooting and as a temporary solution, you can set the monitor to sRGB profile.

If the problem disappears, the monitor profile is the problem.

  • Image not appearing is not in the develop Module

I've seen a number of discussions on this, but unfortunately the proposed solutions do not work.

When I access the image in the develop module it will show initially, but a setting I'll do the image not displayed (they do in the browser preview in the upper left corner), generally the image then disappears. After that, when I select the image it leaves a white screen where the image should display.

When the question first, I checked and the GPU acceleration could not be turned on due to an error. I went and updated my driver, but unfortunately I have an AMD Radeon 7670 graphics card and I discovered the hard way Lightroom CC is not compatible with this graphics card and the latest driver so when I accessed to develop module lightroom instantly if is crushed, regardless of whether or not the graphics acceleration was lit.

I was able to go back to the older version of the driver, 13.152.0.0, Lightroom will run without crashing, but still have the original problem, I can't use the develop module.

Any suggestions? At this point, I'm tempted to restore the previous version of Lightroom, but I'm hoping to avoid that, as I have ingested, the tag and assessed to nearly 2500 pictures and would really prefer to keep this work.

  • Why do I get a blue rectangle covering the photo in the develop module?

I bought the upgrade to LR6 (or is that LR CC?).  The new software downloaded, installed, updated catalog, it seems to work normally.  When I first opened the program, it seemed ok, but soon a large blue rectangle (with a top X) appeared on the photo selected in the library module.  I signed out and signed in; I restarted my computer.  The rectangle is always there, but I saw that no module has been highlighted.  When I clicked on the library, the rectangle disappeared.  So, I thought I had solved the problem.  BUT the rectangle persists in the develop module (only he).  The controls do not seem to work (if I click on the cropping rectangle, I can see in the upper right preview window), but I don't see the rectangle not really change anything.

    Any ideas?  (I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit)

For now, try to uncheck the GPU option in Preferences > Performance tab. There is a question that seems to be linked to other app/games that changed some parameters related to the gpu. I will try to attract the attention of Adobe on this, but in the meantime try to change this option.

  • Bought a stand-alone copy of LR in 10/2013.  Received a message that the development module is disabled.

I upgraded from LR 4 LR5, buying an stand alone version of Lightroom 10/2014 (less than three months ago) for my PC.  According to Adobe's HELP, I downloaded a second copy of the software on a new Mac in preparation for the switching of computers and discontinued using the original version of the PC.  I had to hire a consultant to assist in the transfer of pictures due to the absence of specific instructions from Adobe on a PC to Mac transition, but in early December, the transition has been accomplished and LR (now 5.7) worked for about two weeks.  Shortly after the development module has been disabled by a message that I needed to renew my membership to reactivate the develop Module!  I've never had a membership... I bought the stand-alone version of the software and want to use it rather than the version of the subscription.

Added to all of my problems with the transition, is that we have welcomed guests for the holidays and I couldn't show them one of my recent photos by the development being disabled module.   (My guess is that Adobe is not going to compensate me for this inconvenience!)

AFAIK, it's nothing that I did on myself.  Adobe allows the download of two copies of the LR software I have not exceeded which, I called Adobe Help specifically to ask how to accomplish the transition from Mac PC and and told to download the LR for the Mac software.

So, how to re-enable the module development without paying extra money for a subscription?

But to answer your question directly, you have installed installation creative cloud of Lightroom that requires different licenses. You must uninstall, then download from the stand-alone Web site.

  • I am too blind to find the download of the SP1 2015 Vision Development Module Run-Time?

Research on ni.com for 'Vision Development Module Run-Time 2015' brings me to a lot of results, but not "Vision Development Module Run - Time 2015 SP1".  Is this product late?

The Vision Development Module 2015 SP1 has already been published a few days ago.

    Hello Guenter

I could not find, too and study this.

As a solution for the moment, you can use the

Vision Development Module 2015 SP1 - National Instruments
    http://www.NI.com/download/vision-development-module-2015-SP1/5798/en/

and when asked to choose what features must be installed uncheck everything except the TERM NI Vision 2015 SP1, see the attached picture.

  • Vision Development Module run-time license?

Hello everyone, I want to install an application to the University, I built on a laptop computer for use at another University. The application uses the driver NOR-IMAQdx for acquiring 2 USB, as well as various screw cameras since the vision development module. I know that there is no legal issue with Labview Run Time of distribution engine, but I would like to know where I stand with the side of the vision of the things. To install this application on the laptop I need to purchase the Vision Development Module Run Time License and software Acquisition of Vision for this laptop, if yes, how could I inculde it in installation? I noticed that the GUI installation gives me the possibility to include engines of execution and drivers, but I don't know how it works without the permit? Also, any idea on the cost? Any advice would be great, best regards, Joe

    Hey Joe,

First the license covers the Module's development of Vision so should cover all the required drivers.

You can download the runtime separately from here:

    http://search.NI.com/nisearch/app/main/p/bot/no/AP/tech/lang/en/PG/1/SN/catnav:, n8:13, ssnav:sup.

You will need the license to activate it on the installation.

Whether if it is a better idea completely, it depends on how you want to distribute your application.

    I hope this helps!

In response, using JohnEllis re: open issue yesterday the topic above.  I can't find an option "reply" in the original response to my post re: many develop module errors in LR 5.7.  I'm sorry.  (Is there a response option, I think?)

I tried to take all of the advice given by John.

    Results:

    Test disc DX - OK

    Reset all preferences:

Followed the instructions all the way.  Renamed preference.agprefs to ".old" subfolder and restarted LR.  He said it was goiing to create a new catalog.  That's when I hesitated.  I get very nervous playing with the LR catalog.  Have had problems before, and don't feel competent enough with this system to do this with any level of comfort.  Too much at stake.  So I canceled the operation, renamed the old preference.agprefs current and finished.

I wanted to thank you for your thoughtful advice.  If you think I should let a new catalog to create, for example, no risk of losing access to almost 2 000 photos, including some means $$ for me, then I will proceed.  But at the moment, not enough confident in my understanding and capabilities.
