LR Mobile camera EXIF - data iPhone 7

I noticed with iPhone 7 for images created using the camera Mobile LR, the model of the camera data are "iPhone" with the iPhone 6 s, it was "iPhone 6 s.  This seems to happen only for photos using the camera Mobile LR (APC_xxxx file names) not those taken using the Apple camera app, and then added to Lightroom.

Bug or feature?

No, we have no such tool specially designed for this operation. You can search for a line http://petapixel.com/2012/11/05/how-to-fix-your-timestamps-if-you-forgot-to-update-your-ca mera-for - TimeZones /

  • LR Mobile camera focusing Distance on iPhone 7 more

You have the iPhone Plus 7 and the last LR Mobile app.  I found pretty quickly that native iPhone 7 more closest distance of focus of the camera app is of about 1/3 of the camera inside LR Mobile.  I can concentrate well at in about 4 "on the native iPhone camera application.  However, when I go to the LR nearest Mobile camera to which it will focus is about a foot.

Anyone else notice this oddity?  Is this a bug any?

I confirmed with a developer, this is a hardware limitation of the telephoto lens.  In the native camera, if you press the button 2 x and try to focus on something that is too narrow for telephoto, iOS actually happening at the level of the lens and a harvest.  In LR Mobile if you choose telephoto, lfwa remains on it is the goal even if your subject is too narrow and unclear.  Our advice is to not use of the 7 + telephoto lens for close-ups.

    Hope this explanation helps.

  • How can I get basic EXIF data integrated with photos that I download on Flickr using Lightroom for mobile?

When I upload pictures to Flickr using mobile LR it does not include EXIF data (i.e. ISO, shutter speed, Aperture, etc.). Is there a way to do this turn on?

You can enable this in the Mobile Lr frame-> share with metadata. Hope that answers your question. -Guido

  • How can I access the original RAW file from the camera of the Iphone?

Hello community. I work with professional photography. I talked to my colleagues for the quality of the pictures we take with our Iphones.  There are many filtering and strengthen and interpolation in the original photo app process of apples. I wonder if there is a way to access the original raw data to the chip in a camera of the iphone (from iphone iPhone 5 6 for the next Iphone.) I think that a lot of people engaged in photography smartphone could benefit from accessing the original raw (not emulation, no simulations) files.

    I appreciate your answers.

Currently on iOS 9, you can get the RAW of the stock camera app, or any other application photos. However, the app '645 PRO MKIII' did take pictures and store them in unprocessed TIFF formats, which is as close as possible. However, Apple is expected to push back the FIRST support in iOS 10 with third-party apps, no word on the stock soft well.

  • [HELP] Photoshop is remove all my EXIF data

    Hey guys!

I have used Photoshop CC for a few months now, and I just realized something quite recently. I was downloading some of my photos on Flickr, and they seem to have lost all the EXIF data after going through photoshop. Now, let me explain. I will pull my (JPEG) image in Photoshop, leave it as the standard background layer, run through the Camera Raw Filter and then export it to JPEG. However, all my EXIF data seems to be lost - and it's not just Flickr. I tried to view the EXIF data using a number of different programs, but he seems to have completely disappeared - it removes even the date that the photo was captured.

If anyone has a solution for me - or if I just some stupid mistake - please let me know!

    Thank you!

    Michael

  • Corrupted in exported image exif data

I see what looks like to corrupted EXIF data in exported images such as reported by exiftool.  The problem occurs when you export an image edited from a Q Leica DNG file.  ExifTool reports "warning: possibly incorrect maker [minor] note offsets (fix by 1196?)" followed by the four following fields "

The name of the file: ~.

    Original directory:

    Index of the file: 3982

    Film Mode                       : ?..?.?.?.".|?

    Levels of WB RGB: 3605.922052 0.951899398 1.068280702

The Film contains unprintable characters.   The original DNG EXIF data reported by exiftool is

    File name: L1000034. DNG

    Original directory: 100LEICA

    Index of files: 34

    Movie mode:

    Levels of WB RGB: 0.4780578898 1 0.674571805

JPEG exported from Lightroom 6.2.1.   Same problem with 6.1.something.  No problem noticed edited CR2 or RAF files export.

Anyone else noticing something similar?   You wonder if it's specific to the Leica Q files.

From what I can tell, these are the owners for this camera metadata fields. You see errors on these fields with the files from your other devices is because these cameras create these fields in their files. And it really seems to be just this model of camera, I checked with other Leica cameras and still couldn't see these fields that appear. It seems that it is fair field that Lightroom is not familiar with and that he does not know how to work with them (he essentially leaves them empty, with the exception of some fill characters when text is required). Like Exiftool reports, it's a just a warning and not an error. In addition, this caution is minor.

Here's what Exiftool himself has to say about this kind of situation: ExifTool FAQ.

What I understand reading FAQ, these fields is essentially the shortcuts that point to other information in the file. The error indicates that these shortcuts (reclining) do not point to the correct location (MakerNotes), or something of the sort. You can force a repair by adding the f (case-sensitive) tag to the Exiftool commands.

Apart the Exiftool warning, do you experience any interruption of your workflow? Other applications fail to work with these files, or you encounter errors?

  • Photoshop Fix photo EXIF data has been erased for most

Thanks to the Adobe team for the launch of the app PS difficulty. I downloaded and immediately tried and was astonished to see what he could do. After that I saved my edit of a photo film to my iPhone and the application Exift to verify its Exif data, I was shocked to discover the Exif data of the photo has been removed for most. Please see the 2 sheets of Exif below for your reference: the 1st is one of the original photo. the 2nd is that the difficulty of the PS edited photo where you can see most data has disappeared.

Thank you'd know by your really and all other users PS difficulty if this problem could be solved.

Or maybe there's a way to fix it in the application settings? Please enlighten me.

  • How can I remove EXIF data in 10 PSE

    Hello

I post some of my photos on a site of photo sharing (flickr) and in the EXIF data, I noticed that my first name is there under the name of owner.

My first research led me to believe that I could change that in my settings of the camera, but I did it and my full name is still apparent in the EXIF data on the site.  This leads me to believe that he is somewhere in post-secondary studies (10 is the version I have) that I have to change the information.

    Can someone help?

    Thank you

    Thank you, Barbara.

I don't mean to remove ALL the EXIF - just my name (it is actually useful that.)  I did not enter my full name on the camera or the Web site, so I'm a little confused as to how it happened in my EXIF in general.

The exif data helps me and others with respect to the actual shooting, so that the info is needed.  I'm trying just to remove or change my name.

EDIT - it was not a question of PSE, but he was in the camera software.

  • The bridge in PS for export - EXIF data lost

    Hi all

I wonder what happens to my EXIF data when I import a file RAW Canon via ACR of the bridge in PS when I export the file as a JPG file and then right-click right jpg properties, none of the camera data is saved. Perhaps there is a checkbox that I have simply not checked?

Also, if I add keywords in Bridge, they will carry through the export process? I'm interested to know if it is possible to auto complete the keyword field in flickr downloading an image.

    CS5 with W7 and Canon 5Dii BRUTES.

    Thanks in advance.

Can you be a little more explicit on the exact steps you take?

I just opened a picture of the bridge in Photoshop by right-clicking on a CR2 file, choose open in Camera Raw, then hit the [open] button in the Camera Raw dialog box.  Then I did file - record under - JPEG, and all the camera metadata has been selected (by the Explorer properties, Details tab).

When you say 'export', exactly how you save the file?  With File - Save For Web & Devices, there is a metadata field that indicates how or how little to keep.

  • Is it possible to stop export of EXIF data option in LR?

I am in stock photography and a few times I don't want to reveal my details/settings of the camera. Is it possible to stop export of EXIF data option in LR?

I think that if you want to control all the details on what is being exported and which not, use Jeffrey Friedls metadata Wrangler PlugIn.

  • Any way to change/replace the EXIF data such as the date of the photo?

I import into Lightroom several thousand photos I took with my first digital camera, in 2000-2004. Everything went very smoothly. But here's my problem:

In my old workflow, I spent the time of photo montage liquidated as TIF files, and stripped of any program that I used to edit the EXIF from them. Thus, for example, a photo that was taken on March 4, 2001 has the information EXIF showing it was taken on March 10, 2001, the date on which I edited and made the TIF. All other EXIF data is stripped as well, the data on exposure, lens information, ISO, if the flash is triggered, etc.. Basically, the TIF file seems to have no other than my name and the size of the file EXIF data.

I can't live without the other info, really, but the change of information on the initial date/time means that the TIF file is not sort next to the original file in Lightroom, which I want to do. There are not thousands of photos that I have hair, a few hundred maximum.

Is it possible with a plugin or an external program to copy EXIF information in the original program and insert it in the TIF file?

To change the date to use the Edit capture time option located under library > metadata menu.

  • PSE8 removes EXIF data?

I used PSE8 to remove red eye from a picture and noticed that when I save the file, it creates the XMP data but removes EXIF data. How can I keep the EXIF data, because I don't want to delete it? I did some research but other than using EXIFTool to move data back to EXIF, XMP I do not see how to keep after editing and recording.

Here's what happens: PSE is deletion of article of MakerNotes exclusive of the manufacturer of the metadata.  Each manufacturer has its own format for fields MakerNotes, which encode many details on the camera, lens and exposure.  Most programs keep properly the MakerNotes, due to the poor design of the MakerNotes from the manufacturers.

PSE is preserving all the standard EXIF fields (model camera, ISO, F number, duration of exposure, program exposure, etc.).  PSE is also adding a new section XMP metadata, copying the standard EXIF fields of industry in the XMP section.

It is regrettable that the PSE often removes the MakerNotes section.  On the other hand, but most basic exposure information are stored in EXIF and XMP of industry standard fields.  And if you keep the unpublished originals (always a good practice), you always have access to the MakerNotes (although a bit inconvenient).

See attached files for the dumping of Exiftool metadata from the two files:

  • Why my EXIF data is not updated in my photo library?

I'm putting an existing library about 15 k pictures and after import in the Photos app, I can see that the EXIF data for many of these images are incorrect.

I've updated the EXIF data using a third party application called 'Pull the shifter' and the images but my photo library has been updated, and pictures taken in 2007 are displayed as having been taken in 2005.

If I update the EXIF through the Photos, it works immediately so I'm guessing that there is a disparity between the library of Photos and real pictures?

How can I update the library after external changes?

    You can not

    What are you doing exactly?

You cannot make changes to the contents of the iPhoto library using pull the shifter or any other program except Photo - there is no user repairable in the photo library - once the pictures are imported in the Photos, you can only use Photos of them to change in any way - if the pictures cannot make the changes that you want to then you will need to make the changes before importing the phtos

You can check the HoudahGeo - it could work within the iPhoto library - last I looked the pictures do not have the API they ned to do the same with the Photos, but it is possible as things hae advanced since I looked

Since upgrading my iPhone 5s IOS 9.3.5 yesterday, I see more the camera of the iPhone as a device in Windows.  Therefore, with this update of IOS, I do find a direct way to upload my pictures on my PC.  Is there a way to download my photos on my PC without having to download them to iCloud?  My PC is Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

What I've always done, is to download my photos directly on my PC by using the option to remove the iPhone with the download.  I really want to continue to do so!
