LR model 6 missing in the slideshow module

Hi, I asked last night, but when I try to find the thread was deleted.  I upgraded to LR6.  It doesn't seem to be available slideshow templates.  Although many tutorials mention them... are they standard?  Or should I create them?

Jen

In the slideshow module go to the menu bar and click on:

Window > panels

Make sure you have all of the selected panels, including the Model Explorer

I'm having a problem using the slideshow module in LR 6.3. The slideshow contains the background image as one of the images to display. Earlier, I have created a slideshow of practice and the background image was not displayed as an image in itself. How to make it behave?

Another approach, perhaps a little more elegant (?). Create a collection that includes images for the slideshow. Include the background image in the collection. Drag the background image in the Panel to designate. Then, remove this image from the collection and create the slide show. I just tried and it works, too.

  • How to control the number of lines of text below the image in the slideshow module?

    Lightroom 3.3

How to control the number of lines of text below the image in the slideshow module?  I have an image with 36 words in the caption field which exports like two lines GOOD.!  I have another image with 57 words in the field of legend who runs the page and shows only a VERY BAD line.  With 57 words I can't do the single-line text box small enough to keep the text does not spread out of the page.

    Ideas?

On the Mac platform and I expect similar under Windows, just hit enter or return key will not help. Instead, you will have to hit the keys Ctrl + Enter or Ctrl + return. This forces a new line. Windows may use a different modifier key. The screenshot below shows that it is possible. Unfortunately, you need to add the text via the caption or Description field in the library module.

  • How can I insert the location in the slideshow module metadata?

All the photos in my slideshow are metadata (added using the card module). When I try to insert location data, for example country by using the text template editor, nothing is inserted. Other metadata such as legend chips work fine. Help!

Try first to one or two images. Go to the map, right-click on a location field and choose the name of the place.  Now, let's see if they appear in the slide show.

If so, the problem is that market back-geotagged place names have not been committed, which is what we did above.

  • Section of Presets missing in the develop module

    OSX 10.7.4 LR 4.1

In the develop module, my presets section is missing.

    Don't miss presets.

    The entire section is missing.

    The order of things is:

    Navigator

    Snapshots

    History

    Collections

Maybe someone can help, or has experienced this and has a solution to recover this section?

Don't worry, Alex easily fixed, you have just hidden.  Try this:

  • RTF model error: compilation in the hidden module error.

I use MS Word 2007 to change my rtf models.
After installing the patch PS2 for MS Office I can't edit the rtf models more.
When I try to edit any field in the model I get a message box with the 'Microsoft Visual Basic' header and the message "compilation in the hidden module error: Module_editFF.
I noticed that the BI Publisher tab is no longer visible in the toolbar. I uninstalled the add-on and reinstalled again, the question remains.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thank you.

If you do not see the BI Publisher tab, then go to MS Word-> Word Options-> Add - ins-> manage-> select Add-ins Word and make so that the "Templatebuilder.dot", TBCrosstab.dot etc. are checked.

  • "Publishing Services" is missing in the Web module

    I just upgraded to v.2.7 v.3 & v.3 beta on Windows SP3 of CP.

I do not see 'Publish the Services' menu in the left tab of Web module (only preview, design, browser and Collections)

I don't see Flickr Manager plugin, but not in the Web module.

I uninstall and reinstall LR3 - no luck

Any suggestion how to get publication Services to display?

    Thank you

It appears only in the library.

  • All panels are missing in the develop module

Can someone help me.  I've been using lightroom for a while.  So today for some reason, not only has disappeared from my base Panel but also any other Panel under the module development disappeared so I can't even right click on say, the "tone curve" or the "Correction of the objective '' to bring back the base Panel because each Panel is missing.  Can someone help me?  I uninstalled lightroom and reinstalled but still nothing.  I have no idea how to solve this problem.

Develop, press Ctrl + 1 (Cmd + 1 on Mac) to the base Panel. Then right-click (Ctrl + click) to select others.

    Or use the window menu.

  • Basic Settings tab is missing from the develop module

I recently purchased lightroom 4 after using the free trial of 30 days, and I have no basic settings on my mac, can't find them anywhere? My tabs go to color curve histogram. Where are they?

    Very confused...

No need to be confused, you have probably inadvertently it hidden. The thing is that in each Module, all the individual panels in each of the left and right columns can be eventually displayed or hidden under the control of the user (there are a few minor exceptions such as the browser, but overall, this control is available throughtout Lightroom).

So to view the options for each column (in your case, expand the column to the right of the Module), simply right click (ctrl-click on Mac) on ONE of the headers that are displayed in this column, and you will see a menu of local context as the attached screenshot. Here you can see that I previously hid the base Panel, so all I have to do is click on the baseline and it is restored. Conversely, I can use this method to hide a Panel.

  • Music in the slideshow

    Hello

I'm putting the music in the show.  I watched the video of JK that is good enough,

I am able to import music into the module slide show without any problem.

    Here's what I want to do;

I make a slide show of about 200 photos on Nova Scotia and a large part of the middle of the show say 50 slides, will have different landscapes.

These slides, I want to put music.

    How do I do that?

Should I have a Nova Scotia 'collection' and he scored under 50 slides, I would music under him and call Nova Scotia music or something like that?

If so, can I then incorporate those slips perfectly into the show?

I have a good idea for LR and it's here, for FREE.  If you want the music to a slide show, you should have somewhere in the slideshow module:

where do you want the music to play: the guides 75-124 good idea?

    Thank you all

This can be done easily in Lightroom. You could hack if you have a sound editor by inserting the correct amount of silence before the start of your 50 slides. Alternatively, you can use first, hearing, iMovie or equivalent and export a slide show silent from Lightroom in H264 1080 p format and position your music to coincide with the 75th and melted slide zipper 124. Wouldn't be not difficult, but you need the right software.

If you have a good idea for Lightroom, the best thing to do is to enter http://feedback.photoshop.com your logon for this forum works here too. That's where Adobe engineers to look for good ideas and bug reports. Not so much on this forum which is a user forum.

  • Slideshow module: Panorama panoramic photos?

How can I adjust the pan of panoramic photos in the slideshow module? When you present a panoramic photo, I want to show the picture with the camera virtual panoramic with a low constant speed between the left edge of the edge right (or vice versa) of the photo, but still showing the photo at full height, i.e. without zooming. I have not found a setting in the slideshow module.

The Lightroom Slideshow module is not that sophisticated. You would need Adobe Premiere Elements or another program slide show more sophisticated for these types of effects.

  • Slideshow module seems to be broken at 6.3

Whenever I try to use the slideshow module, I get a notification saying that there was a problem from the modules.

Help please. I use the nice slideshow module. If it's broken, I'm going back to v6.1.1.

Running on a Mac mini (mid-2012 QuadCore i7) with 16 G RAM, 950 G SSD internal, plenty of external hard drive, etc...

    THX!

I was able to open a conversation with Adobe Support with the 99jon of the information provided.

With the support in overseeing representative, we still ran the application to uninstall, then re-installed LR 6, tested that it worked correctly (it did) and then ran the update at 6.3 LR. It tests showed that LR 6.3 SlideShow module now has worked correctly.

The difference between what I did yesterday and today: my system is set up (for safety) so that I have an administrator account for the installation of the software and the configuration system and a user account for my work. Yesterday, I did the sequence uninstall/install/update on the administrator account, as I usually do. Today, I did the sequence of the user account. So any issue caused the switch module error has to do with pieces that the installation process installs in the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe and/or the folder ~/Library/Preferences, on the user account, which were not affected by the installation and update of yesterday. Some corrupt files or permissions problems, or anything that didn't have a reason... I'll leave to Adobe on this issue for future updates.

Thanks to rpandita and 99jon here for a helping hand. And with the support of Adobe a hand and supervise installation which worked too.

    to go!

  • Optical correction completely disappeared from the develop Module function

The lens correction feature brought missing in the develop Module.  He was missing until I upgraded to 5.6 and is still missing.  Previously, he was present, so I wonder if I did something to hide or remove?

Right-click on one of the other titles, such as base etc, tone curve. Make sure that there is a check mark in the lens corrections. This is the way you control which develop features that you want to display on your system. Sometimes the features disappear mysteriously.

  • How can legends of the slideshow - I remove the quotes?

I create a slideshow in Lightroom 3 using the legend and the predefined rating.  There are no quotes legends of metadata, but when I saw the slideshow all my legends have quotes. I searched the Edit > Preferences in the slideshow module, but there is no mention of legends or the quotes.  How can I get rid of the quotes?

Thanks for any help or suggestion!

(3 days: 55 people have watched this discussion, but no one answered.)  I still hope that I can remove the quotes around my slide show of legends.  Any ideas out there somewhere?)

    9 views in fact...

You need to change the preset. Click the text, and then on the toolbar change custom settings, in the legend area.

You can then save this as a new preset.
