LR6/LR CC launch
Anyone having problems launching? Installation seemed to go OK, but the new app launches
The suggestion also to disconnect from Creative Cloud desktop app, then reconnect again, worked for me. It is not enough to simply leave office CC & then reopen and you must go (Tools, I think?) & deliberately log out. You're immediately prompted to sign in, & is now launching the new application of LR. Taking little time to update a catalog of 83 000 images, however.

Launch of 6 Lightroom from my Mac does not work
I upgraded my Mac the week last in Yosemite that I can download Lightroom 6, which I did and I downloaded 2 photo shoots in LR6, worked on the pictures for the whole day. Next day Mac says startup disk almost full, now cannot open LR6. I deleted some pictures and movies which gave me a lot more space and now almost full startup disks window appear either, but still cannot start the only LR3 LR6. keep showing me the Rainbow swirl when LR6 trying to launch. Watch whirlpool for hours.

I suggest you please uninstall and reinstall Lightroom 6 once on the computer.

Lightroom 6 stopped working after upgrading windows 10
Hello
My LR6 will not launch after the Windows 10 major update last week.
I get this Windows dialog, superimposed on the LR start page;
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working
A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I have no option at this stage, except Lightroom closure.
I rebooted several times (it seemed the same problem three times after the previous updates of small windows) and also reinstalled Lightroom twice, to no effect. When I start a reinstallation I am informed that there may be a problem because the installer has detected that a reboot may be waiting. If I stop and restart I get the same message again when you try the reinstall.
Has anyone else had similar problems?

My computer crashed and after the purchase of another, I used the Migration Wizard to copy all the files to the new computer. Everything was going well until I tried to launch LR6. It was two weeks ago and a search for many pages of the Adobe Web site. I think I've exhausted all the remedies listed without success codes error A12E5 to questions cloud creative, Manager of Application and error 1: Configuration problems. I'm ready to reformat my computer and try again with Time Machine. Help would be greatly appreciated before I waste more time on this task. Any further suggestions?

Inadmissible LR6 at launch. How can I open
I used LR6 for 2 years. Today, after opening at bottom of screen, it is 'inadmissible' how start?
- Please, go to the Windows, where Device Manager, expand display adapters.
- Turn off the graphics card and open Lightroom, go to Lightroom preferences, then the performance tab, and then uncheck the option "use graphics processor.
- Lightroom farm and go back to Device Manager and activate the graphic card.
- Open Lightroom and then work in Lightroom and check if it works very well.

So whenever bloody this program is launched it ask me to connect. I have to retype the user name and password. I find it more annoying. How can I solve this problem.

Versatile to validate S/N upgrade of the LR5 LR6
I have installed on my Mac LR5. I bought an update of license Office for LR6; I downloaded the program and launched the installation. When you are prompted to S/N, I entered a new provided by Adobe at the time of my purchase, but he tells me that it cannot be validated.

What messages are getting you - a screenshot will be better than a summary of what they say.
Normally, when you install an upgrade that you eventually enter two serial... numbers the new product and product you are upgrading.
Also, are you sure that you have purchased the license of right for the platform you are trying to install on? A Windows license won't work for Mac installation when it comes to Lightroom 6.

When you first launch LR6, it should automatically detect your catalog LR5 and asks if you want to open an improved copy of it.
All of your changes, keywords, etc. will be deferred.
If it doesn't, use file > open in LR6, orders and access the LR5 catalog.

I'm not shure on my Installation on my PC - will all the settings and Plugins on my PC available after the update to LR6 CC (in the cloud)?
For example, I share my raw file of the Lightroom library on another disk.
I can't find information on the process of update of Lightroom at Lightroom CC (in the cloud)?
All your work and all your plugins will be available after you go to LR CC. The first time you launch LR CC, we will ask if you want to update your Lightroom 5 catalog, click upgrade.

Autonomous loading LR6 on Windows 7 problem
I am a LR user since a long time, since the 1st version. and have upgraded to the stand-alone version 6. It works well until yesterday when I was unable to load entirely; I just saw the menu bar, identity and very little icons at the bottom of the screen. The content area is gray background. I back up my weekly catalog, keep the previous version two. LR worked after my last backup.
I pressed Ctrl-Shift at the launch of LR to check on the selection of the catalog. The correct catalogue shows. At this point, I clicked on Optimize who gave me the screen part described the revival.
Other programs on my computer are functioning normally and regular maintenance done as I normally do on a regular basis.
Before I try to reinstall LR6, can anyone suggest more than I can take action?

If you have installed LR 6, you must have the Adobe Creative Cloud Application, look in the start menu
Alternatively, you can contact Adobe via LIve Chat to disconnect them for you.

I recently decided to drop my CC for LR and PS membership, I bought a self-sustaining disc and the license for LR6.
I installed it properly leaving my CC LR existing in place. When the installation is complete, I tested and even edited a few files. Now that I didn't know whether it worked, I advanced and uninstalled LR CC using a program to uninstall app. I realize that I could have used the built-in uninstaller.
So CC LR has been uninstalled, but so was my (standalone) LR6. I now get the code 16 error, some useful people have directed me to this web page Configuration 16 error | CC, CS unfortunately when I followed these instructions, the two SLStore or Adobe PCD files are missing completely.
Since then, needless to say, I tried to reinstall from my drive several times but still the same error message as shown below. Then I reinstalled the desktop CC app and downloaded and installed CC LR, but now it's too fails on launch with the same exact error message.
I spent some time trying to contact Adobe directly, even by phone, but all without success.
Don't know what to try next, any suggestions please?
I'm all sorted out, thank you so much 99jon that I began to despair that I would never get the problem fixed. Adobe cat have been very patient (it took about 50 minutes) while I carried out their instructions, very useful overall

Did you buy the version serial number, or the Cloud?
If the serial number, you use your buyback ONCE code to give a serial number, and you then use this serial number for installation of your 2nd

LR6 starts does not after decommissioning of CC2015
Hello
After trying Lightroom CC 2015 (. 2?) on mac OS X Yosemite (1 month trial), I decided to buy LR6, rather than taking the subscription to CC. So I bought the DVD LR6 and installed.
After installation, when I try to run LR, I have a picture of trees in the mountain and the program is blocked at this point.
I tried to uninstall everything beforehand CC, removed all instances of Adobe in my file system (in / applications and / library) and reinstalled LR6: does not make better.
I also moved my catalog used during the trial (in ~/Pictures/lightroom), in this case, the program ask me to create a catalog. Then appears in the main window, but I still have the window of launch (with trees in the mountain), and LR is blocked.
I need help. Maybe I need to reisntall OS x from scratch?
